Dude! UA-cam threw this video on my homepage, I watched it, and I'm blown away! I consume tons of similar content because I'm a bodywork mechanic and a petrolhead, but this video is easily in my TOP 3 out of the thousands I've watched over the last 10 years! I subscribed instantly!
@@smoll.miniatures if there's no serious frame damage everything can be restored properly. people need to realize that a car's shell isn't made from just one piece. it's all made from different pieces that are welded together. so if something's smashed, just drill out the correct spots and you can take the whole thing out, like a quarter panel assemly for example, get a new one, weld it in, and it's all fine while still keeping the whole body safe and rigid. also metal fabrication exists, and minor rusted out spots can easily get patched. and for the seams - well, it's a car from the UK. I bet they all are rusted out there. if that would be such a big risk then most of the cars on the road in humid areas would be getting forcefully taken off the road.
You can actually still see hints of it showing through the red in the right lighting throughout the video you just gotta look closely it's a very pretty color
This guy is legit my favorite car guy on UA-cam. There's no inch of every car he works on where he doesn't know how to address, and it's easy to praise his wrench work, what always gets me is how impeccably clean he restores the interiors from top to bottom, and every video feels like a true labor of love.

As someone whos watched your channel for awhile and just recently buying a 98 Honda civic coupe with a b18b swap in the same green as this car, I can say I've never been more excited to watch a video before
That Honda Civic was left to rot and would eventually end up in the scrapyard. Thanks to you, it has a new lease on life, back on the road and looks much nicer than when it rolled off the factory assembly line. It has proper street cred now, and another fantastic restoration!
