Another Unstable Draft is great, but nothing will ever top Taking Spike from Sharazad, putting Mark Rosewater on your team with better Than one and then starting a subgame with Shahrazad.
So is the pretty much best keywords for modular monstrosity "pro everything, infect, triple strike, dethrone" meaning an instant kill with all four or a two turn kill with the first three? I can't think of a quicker clock than that.
Highlights of this stream are Ian being betrayed by RNGesus in his Game 3, which followed a game where like two cards were cast, and the savagery of Ben / Cameron's banter.
The way that Graham could have lived there was giving his monstrosity the cumulative upkeep ability of Jotun Grunts: cumulative upkeep put 2 target cards from a graveyard on the bottom of their owner's library.
@LRR I'm just getting into your content, but I love it so far. This stream and Game Knight's unstable draft have prompted me to make a five color unset commander deck. Keep up the good work.
I remember you guys had to make a flipped version of your 'magic boardstate' playmat with all the sections for where stuff goes, due to you guys having placed the library on the left and lots of people asking if you had one where the deck was on the right - due to most people (me included) playing with their deck on their right-hand side. Personally, I've only ever seen you guys play with your deck on the left side.
Unstable was the first draft I ever did at a big event and I won with W/U Order of the widget! Also my CK order just came in and I'm so happy I managed to get the Autotap Autotap Concede pin! XD
What are the odds of Ian's rolls in that third game? They have to be in the millions against for that to happen in the exact way so many times in a row.
I remember the Judge video with Serge having a headache with Un-Set rulings. In any case, who gets the (un)coveted Urza's decapitated head? Let's find out. :3
I'm kind of upset Graham didn't keep up the 7 mana 3/3 by saying "pro everything," "infect," and "triple strike," then next turn attacking with 2 or more creatures, creating a 1/1 counter on it and doing 12 poison damage in a single turn. But w/e, we can't win them all :D
Oh god... What happens if you cast a Subgame (such as "The Countdown is at One" or a "Spike, Tournament Grinder"-summoned Scheherazade) when there's a storm count at 2 or more?
I believe, since the subgame is part of the spells’ resolution, when you finish the subgame both players will move back to the main game starting by finishing the resolution of the card that started the subgame. Everything will be the same as when you left it, so whatever your storm count is should also be the same. TLDR; playing a subgame is part of the resolution of the card and doesn’t reset anything happening in the main game
@@calebself3354 I mean if the storm count is at two and you cast a card that demands a sub-game, do you have to play multiple sub-games in a row to resolve the spell, or do you multiply the effects of the sub-game by the storm count?

As someone who's been dealing with tooth pain for a while for similar reasons, I'm right there along with you. LLR makes for a decent remedy, even if only for a little bit.
Pretty sure when Serge resolves Work a Double, he should reveal 1 contraption first and then putting it in a sprocket before even revealing the 2nd one. Do correct me if I'm wrong because I think assemble two contraption is equal to "scry 1, then scry 1 again" rather than "scry 2".
Technically yes, but in the case of assembling contraptions it actually doesn't matter because any triggers that would care about artifacts or contraptions ETB would put two separate triggers on the stack anyway.
@@solidStalemate I don't remember perfectly but yeah we all conceded it was something like protection from everything, annihilator 6, infect. And we where against the dude who is an encyclopedia on the game so yeah
Who made the ruling on Go To Jail? It's incredibly wrong. All 4 dice should be rolled simultaneously with 2 sets of 2. Barring that Ian should be able to choose either number from his first roll of 2 after seeing the results of the second roll.
So, I think they FOCUS on Jace to tell the story of Bolas. He seems to have lost the most to Bolas through his time with the Consortium and the following events.
That's kind of a pointless and incendiary comment to make. What would the point of intentionally cheating in a kitchen table match, between friends, for fun/entertainment, with zero stakes, in front of the internet be exactly? The entire crew misplays and makes rule-mistakes to their own benefit and demise all the time in these videos. And unless they have a real judge at hand they also constantly “shoot from the hip” with regards to rulings, getting it wrong regularly. I don’t get the random fixation with Ben in this regard that a few commenters appear to have; especially in matches like these where he even purposefully looses for the fun factor, and still he gets extra flak.
Adam: Plays his 9th land
Serge: Mill 5 cards
Adam: (Mills 5 lands) Thanks.

“Beej is upset that we’re bending the laws of RNG”
Here's a name for the Krark's card. "Krark the unopposeable".
YES
Well now Krark does exist! :D
Kinda close
I just so wanted to see beej sit down, untap, draw, and then concede. That would have been quite the ending, haha
1:54:30 Man, coming back after the Krark spoiler... I can't wait.
Cam's not wrong - Unstable is SICK! I've even crafted my own Unstable cube - so sweet and I can't wait for the next UN-set
You have you cube up anywhere??
Thinking about getting another box for more lands and finishing out cards for a cube.
@@alexanderyoungert1969 I don't currently, if I get some spare time I might throw it up on cubetutor
The armchair was an illegal play, as Ben hid it during Cameron's turn
happened at 3:12:40 for those that want to see it
LRR quotes out of context: “Paul’s dying. Surely that’s unlikely!”
Kindslaver was our reward for watching in its entirety. Hilarious
So is the pretty much best keywords for modular monstrosity "pro everything, infect, triple strike, dethrone" meaning an instant kill with all four or a two turn kill with the first three? I can't think of a quicker clock than that.
Man, Ben hiding that armchair was so smoothly done!
I swear, this draft destroyed all laws of probablity
This was a perfect thing for me to watch before bed on my birthday, thanks guys!
Happy birthday!
Sitting here, watching Ian's life swell, hoping Graham will remember that Dethrone is an ability.
This got me to immediately buy a box of Unstable to draft at an indeterminable time in the future.
Highlights of this stream are Ian being betrayed by RNGesus in his Game 3, which followed a game where like two cards were cast, and the savagery of Ben / Cameron's banter.

Oops all wingdings!
I want to see Cam build a commander deck based on the Grand Calcutron.
If you don't want to watch the draft itself (Shame on you), Skip to 43:32 to watch the first round!
So...I'm fairly certain that, for someone who "who never plays the deckstyle", Ben has drafted UW control EVERY draft on FNPF thus far...
I'm not sure why, but "I wouldn't be here today, of course, without Jeebus" just gets me every time. Great victory speech.
Paul actually predicted Krark the Thumbless
This is the greatest set of magic

krack, the thumbless
whenever any player rolls any amount of dice deal damage equal to krack's power to that player. "who stole me thumbs"
My uncle is a crocodile...Adam, you are my hero
Game 1 is the reason why we’re all here to see the two cute bois go at it
omg ian's dice rolling, for the universe to correct it selv, THREE planets at the size jupiter just inploded in on them selves
What?
Ben hid the armchair at 3:12:47, which was not during his turn and therefore cheated
Question for the Crew, what cameras do you guys use for the card cams during draft?
What are the odds of Ian's rolls in that third game? They have to be in the millions against for that to happen in the exact way so many times in a row.
Didn't Ben break the rules with the Armchair in game 2? It says that you can only sneak it on during your turn, and he does it during Cam's upkeep(?)
They start playing at 43:00

if it has protection from everything... doesn't it have protection from itself?
therefore meaning it's ability can't give it new abilities?

Shroud affects targeting, the monstrosities' ability does not target itself.
