Honestly UMD movies on PSP were so mindblowing to me as a kid who wasnt allowed to have a phone until like 13. The fact i could just pop a movie like Spider-Man 2 or Advent Children in my PSP any time I wanted is a feature of the PSP I think went way underappreciated
At some point I had a big Memory Stick and a program to convert DVD movies into MKV at a pretty high bitrate, with a fitting resolution for the PSP. I gotta tell ya, watching The Terminator portably was quite an interesting feat for the time.

Nothing livens up a funeral like someone dropping some phat knowledge about Ballistic for the Nuon.
9:18 Honey put the botle of oil back in the cabinet scott the woz is on our psp not por--
WE DID IT GUYS! SCOTT THE WOZ MENTIONED BRAZIL!!
He did before in the demakes episode, but yeah fitting Time to mention Brazil now
Um… ok!
My favorite piece of knowledge that has come from this is that Scott owns the last vhs copies released of the Star Wars OT theatrical cuts
I just remembered... The first time I ever watched "To Kill a Mockingbird" was while playing The Darkness on the Xbox 360! And I watched the WHOLE DAMN MOVIE!!!
😂 I always wondered if it was the whole movie I would always get bored.
5 seconds in and I've already witnessed one of the greatest, most subtle roasts in the history of roasting.
Racing Stripes was the perfect choice for a "road trip DVD" mainstay
Fun fact: Thomas the tank engine was suppost to be released on the GBA video but was cancelled.
Only S1 was suppost to release with the following episodes [apperently]: Down the Mine, James in a Mess, Thomas and gorden, Thomas in trouble, The sad story of henry, The flying kipper
Tankies will never recover.
Oh god, cartoons already looked bad enough on GBA Video, anything that was filmed in live-action would look even WORSE when compressed that badly.
One surprising thing about Thomas the Tank Engine are how it has a fair few Japan exclusive video games.
Imagine the quality if they did release this but they didn't use the remastered versions of the episodes
That’s probably fake, kids make up stuff like that on the internet all the time
I was depressed. Then i remembered that you videos existed.
I walked into work the seconds after this video released. Straight up said "my depression is cured. There's a new Scott the woz video!" And then no one knew what I was talking about but I was happy.
Thought this was another Scott's Snippets Compilation, seeing that it was a Scott the Woz upload i was like "DO MY EYES DECIEVE ME?"
If it's Scott the Woz I click
This is in the running for one of my favorite episodes on the channel of all time. I especially liked the cutaway gags. Looking forward to more.
0:24 return of the PS2 bashing!
0:25 HE CALLED OUT THE PS2 BIT
I didn't notice it 😂😂😂
i love the ps2 bit
Props to the new editor. The quality here has really improved from a motion/aniamtion standpoint. Great watch!
I had a handful of movies on PSP. It’s how I watched Stepbrothers, Men in Black, and Starship Troopers and a few others
Scott The Woz doing a 300 joke was not on my bingo card, yet the punchline was hilarious as fuck. Bravo, Scott.
YooStar 2 Scott is the most chaotically funny Scott. This and the scene from The Mummy on the second channel are my proof.
Drinkin' game as follows: Take 1(one) shot when Scott say's "Shrek" & hold back tears upon the realization you've been cheated by never knowing GBA video existed.
24:30 Scott sneaking in velvet room music.
So I wasn't the only one who noticed that.
Electronica in velvet room i believe, or maybe a mash-up
It's the Smash Ultimate remix@@KartvelArca
This video was just an excuse for Scott to show the covers for every "bargain bin car ride movie" a family owned in the 2000s
We need a whole fleshed out scott the woz character for the weird f*ck who is the outlier disproving scott's points. He needs like an outfit or something. 29:00
It’s really crazy to think 20 years ago how at least me at 15 years old in 2004 only had so much like DVDs, kids really have a lot more of these days. But what we can watch was very limited so whatever we had is what we watched.
Holy fuck it's Scott The Woz
Holy crap.
[muffled Scott screaming]
Idk man doesn't look like him
OH GOD WHERE
holy scott its fuck the woz
Honestly UMD movies on PSP were so mindblowing to me as a kid who wasnt allowed to have a phone until like 13. The fact i could just pop a movie like Spider-Man 2 or Advent Children in my PSP any time I wanted is a feature of the PSP I think went way underappreciated
agreed
I was savvy and knew how to convert video for mine lol
I have a phone but without movies 😢 I only have 1 blu ray but that doesnt work on phones but on tv :D
@@MelonArmyMick do you have an iphone because those phones are limited to features
At some point I had a big Memory Stick and a program to convert DVD movies into MKV at a pretty high bitrate, with a fitting resolution for the PSP.
I gotta tell ya, watching The Terminator portably was quite an interesting feat for the time.
9:12 Nice Refrence to the Ratings Episode
had to pause this whilst laughing at the clockwork orange joke
I am trembling in my boots at the anticipation of the next Scott the Woz Christmas special
Fun fact: I‘ve got the entirety of Borderline forever downloaded on my 3DS. It was both the best and most bizarre Scott the Woz watching experience ever
This video shows how we WILL watch Scott talk about anything, so when he eventually runs out of video game adjacent stuff to talk about, he will still have an audience.
Already proved that with Vape Shop.
@@bcj842This is a modern era video while that was 7 years ago.
"There's not a ton of movies rated X for a few reasons. One of them being the fact that most X rated movies are basically 9:17 "
Scott The Woz has to be on GBA Video.
Hey Scott loved your new iPods vid on Scott's stash!
A Godzilla image in a Scott video earns an automatic 10/10 rating.
Fun fact, when the PS5 came out many Brazilians bought it in Mexico and then Went on vacation there to pick it up, with the cost of the trip usually being around $2,000.....it was still way cheaper than buying the console in brazil.
Fun fact number 2 Checking out the Brazilian price for the PS5 pro Causes immediate blood curling rage in any and all humans exposed to it.
Over 4 months wages‽
Yeah great
The real question is...why? Playstation 5 isn't exactly a must buy. Unless you absolutely must play GTA5 in best console quality.
@@cattysplat the console is not good only 120fps 1080p or 1440p 90fps or upscaled 1440p/ fake 4k 60fps
If you got an ps4 buy an xbox one x or series s instead those got true 4k and 120fps and ps5 graphics to
@@RockyLaRosaThe Xboxes also use upscaling. Neither console is remotely close to powerful enough to do 4K 60fps in most games, much less 4K 120. There are a few less graphically intensive games that do run at 4K like Ori, but the vast majority are upscaled on both consoles. Even the best PCs which are much more powerful than either console struggle at 4k 120.
OMG! I loved GBA Video for SP! My favorites were the Cartoon Network ones. I got hooked on Ed, Edd n Eddy because of them. Thank you, Scott!
Rip old Scott the woz end theme
Buying videos on xbox DOES at least have the benefit that you can also access them on your PC, imagine my shock when I happened across the video library app just a year ago and found a bunch of random episodes of shows I'd purchased on 360 still there available for me to watch despite them no longer being up for purchase.
9:18 HOLY SHIT I GET THAT REFERENCE
I too use words
I ALSO GET THE REFRENCE @@Jade_Geode
I can't wait for this Episodes Sequel Games For Movie Theaters!
Starring the Ratchet & Clank Movie (2016)
"My uncle just died." AGAIN? Doesn't that make 3 times?
"Oh my God, they killed Kenny!"
"You bastards!"
Might be four times. He died for the third time in the Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash episode, if memory serves right.
@@MaesterMike Pretty sure that was his second uncle death, and the other guys third
Cmon man, you can have 3 uncles… And they can all die…
9:17 YEEEEEAAAH MY FAVORITE BIT MADE A COMBACK
Ain’t no way Scott just called Phineas & Ferb Across The 2nd Dimension “this Phineas and Ferb game” 23:53
"I know what [the Nuon] is!"
"Thanks, weird f*ck"
Me: "Huh... that's a weird way to pronounce 'Rerez viewer'."
0:20 Scott gets trapped in the device that plays Shrek.
Y’know for a world renowned Pokemon hater Scott sure loves putting Pokemon music in his videos.
There's a difference between a games soundtrack, and the ganes themselves. One sounds good, the other just exists to play the soundtrack
You can like a game's soundtrack and not be the biggest fan of the game itself. I have a few like that.
Yeah Pokémon music is awesome and if you have played one game u have played them all. What’s your point?
Clearly he’s a deeply closeted pokemon lover
To be fair, I do like music from some games that I have no interest in actually playing, like Silver Surfer on NES
I remember as a kid being really impressed by the idea of VideoNow and GBA Video, but I never got any of those, and considering how far we’ve come with portable entertainment, it all feels like a chore now 😢
I had literally never heard of the HD DVD before this video, like oh my god this was an actual thing that existed?
Yes…….i waited till bluray won to upgrade
It was real, and was... strange.
Toshiba vs Sony.
Sony won, because PS3.
Now we just need this episode to get an officially licensed Game Boy Advance Video release so we can finally achieve world peace
Coming soon to HDDVD
Also for Nuon
When I was like 3 or 4 years old, the PlayStation 2 was one of my first gaming consoles I had. Over the years, I have watched movies/TV shows through gaming consoles and portable DVD players. Now, I watch movies/TV shows through my iPad for streaming on the go (with a current keyboard case) and at home through physical media. Good thing I have an Xbox Series S so I can play gaming digitally instead of physically!
The "my uncle just died" bit killed me.
I remember as a kid getting those Gba video cartridges, and being absolutely amazed that I could watch my favorite cartoons on my game boy advance anywhere i wanted, really felt like I was in the future, Anyone else shared this feeling?
Nah
Absolutely. Watched my SpongeBob one all the time.
Pretty cool they existed at all still. (= pluse the GBA advanced was absolutely peak anyway so who cares. =D
I dont own a gba, but i do relate
I felt the same way until I had memorized the four episodes of Spongebob on that cart and couldn't bear to watch them a single additional time
That 33 minutes joke was flawless
0:58 He did it! He watched a Star Wars movie!
(RIP James Earl Jones.)
I should watch this using the UA-cam app on my Switch, seems appropriate
based lol
9:19 Again with that bit 😂
The unexpected sequel
What IS that a reference to?
@@empoleonmaster6709 It's a reference back to Adult Only rated titles, where they were basically just that (there's a clip of it on Scott's Snippets)
3:05 Patrick is crying because he realizes that he is trapped in a Videonow system
I was going to comment that.
0:25 PS2 being pummeled by a hammer: Not again.
28:36 I love this with Scott just spacing out in the corner
scotts really original i cant say id compare his videos because when i watch this its like a friend telling me about his honest opinion
9:18 virgins and virgettes, after 6 years, Scott’s done it again
I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS EPISODE
21:40 funny scream
That 7:07 joke with the quality made me laugh so hard it reminded me of my current sensitive lungs.
Aww, that's just sad 😂 😢
Acknowledging that Scott is the definition of meme-worthy, 32:13 has potential
