Mill Ends Park in Portland Oregon is only 452 square inches (0.29 square meters), so yes.... that "plant" is the entire park. LOL There's some kind of folk lore story about how it was named a park. Apparently, a man called Richard Fagan reportedly saw a leprechaun digging in a weed-filled hole in the ground and when he caught the leprechaun, it granted him three wishes. One of them was to have his own park, but he never said how big the park should be. So the leprechaun gave him the weed-filled hole. Mr. Fagan named it Mill Ends Park and gave it the title, "world's smallest." I guess the city of Portland agreed to make it a park and it became official. But the story is so fantastical, who knows how it really happened.
Yes, civil engineers design and build man made lakes. Like Lake Mead in Nevada and Lake Powell in both Arizona and Nevada. You guys would probably enjoy reacting to videos on the construction of the Hoover Dam.
And the intra coastal waterway built by the U.S. Corp of Engineers in the 1950's. The longest waterway in the United States, longer than the Mississippi.
I just found you, Love your reactions. I'm from Connecticut, home of the Nautilus, home of the 1st nuclear powered sub. Writer Mark Twain wrote Tom Sawyer in CT. I have roots in Utah where my mother was raised on a ranch (still owned by the family) and I had two real cowboy uncles. The ranch is located in red rock country next to Capitol Reef National Park,320 km from Salt Lake City.
Exactly. Just to give them some perspective... Mackinac Island in Michigan is only 3.8 square miles (9.8 square kilometers) in size. The entire state of Michigan is 97,000 square miles (251228.85 square kilometers) So, the ban on cars is only in a very tiny part of the state.
Mackinack Island in Michigan bans cars (altough they do have ambulances and work vehicles. In another town in Michigan a short road was turned into a bicycle trail.
Mills End Park is that little circle with a tree, 452 square inches (0.00007205784 acres). The tree is fluffier now than when this video was made. It looks like the only park rule is that all dogs must be on a leash. In 2021, it was moved 6 inches west, so other city improvements could be made.
Seven of my cousins who were born in Wisconsin all have been on the waiting list for Green Bay Packers season tickets since their 5th birthdays. Only about 2 more years to go for the oldest to get his! They've all added their kids to the waiting list as they've been born. Now they all live in Minnesota but are diehard Packers fans so they always go back to Green Bay to see the Packers play the Minnesota Vikings.
I was born in Phoenix, but we moved to my mom’s home state of Vermont, when I was two years ,sadly we lost touch with family in Arizona after, my grandmother passed away.
Louisiana resident here! I live very close to the bridge mentioned. Just went across the other day. On clear days, you can see some buildings New Orleans from the Northshore lakefront. Very cool.
hey brothers, i wasnt mad in my comments on the black hawk down video. its just impossible to show emotion through texts, much love guys! thanks for all the videos youre my favorite youtubers.
You are very kind to be interested in our country. I wanted to say as my family use to drive back east from California about every summer back in the day I really liked exploring the big cave parks you can see. They are like road side attractions or even like an amusement park in the Ozarks. As you head back east the ground has a lot of limestone and it makes amazing caverns. Meramec Caverns, Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Meramec is fun because it is small and has a legend attached as Jesse James Hideout and Carlsbad is three miles down and I did it. 😁 There is a gift shop at the bottom. Bats fly out of the cave at sunset. 🙂
This is becoming an international industry-UA-camrs from other countries raving about the US. Americans love hearing foreigners compliment them about their countries. If you have ever traveled internationally, you would know how rare that is.
I don’t need folks to compliment the country. But it is nice seeing folks actually want to learn about it instead of just harboring the hateful stereotypes they’ve heard
😂 "This isn’t a park, it’s a plant…" 👀 "…Yes." That cracked me up… Also: The only kind of tickets for the Green Bay Packers are season tickets, and you can keep them for life. You can sell your ownership of them, but some people Will them to their kids. Many people share them or sell individual game tickets if they can’t go to every game. We had a friend who had season tickets, and in the 90s I was a big fan. I happened to mention how cool it would be to go to a live game, and he gave us his tickets for one. It was great. It gets cold in that stadium, and the people we were next to made a habit of bringing extra coats and gloves for anyone who hadn’t been there before. They were so kind to let me use a coat. I had dressed warmly, but not enough. The city of Green Bay is actually not very big. The people there were so nice.
You can make a lake quite easily in a temperate climate. You just dig a big hole, line it with clay, and fill it with water. Where I live, it will fill up by itself after the snow melts, but in some places, you dig near where you can use river water and implement a dam.
An example of a manmade lake is Lake Roosevelt in Washington state. When Grand Coulee dam was built the Columbia river backed up and the lake was formed.
It's so many states and so tricky to recall that even the narrator struggles, e.g., KCK & KCMO. Kansas City is one metro area split by the Missouri River. There is a Kansas City in Kansas. lol
I lived on Colfax Ave in Denver Colorado (technically I was in Aurora CO) - it is not a great place to live, dangerous part of town - but I also won a grant from the Arts Alliance council where I was paid for an Photography project I submitted which was photographing Colfax Ave (because its the longest continuous street in America, but only for the states of Colorado and Utah (because I didnt have time to do the entire length.). which ended with my own gallery show on the project. It was many years ago but still one of the highlights of my life for me, that gave me a sense of pride.
Football teams sell seasons tickets to a set number of people. Seasons tickets are very expensive but you get tickets to every home game the players play and you get the same seats year after year. . However, there are regular tickets that are sold to the general public that stay open for the public to buy year after year. So basically everyone wins!
Yes, it is hard for Americans to identify all of the states on a map. At some point in school we have to memorize state capitals, etc, but identifying every single one on a map isn't easy.
I like when you guys argue haha I noticed it in Kingdom of Heaven when Saladin starting praying in the Mosque you guys started up...its great haha. Maybe you could react to some travel videos some people make, I have been watching a lot of people go to Afghanistan lately and showcase some Muslim countries....or there are some Muslim travelers that travel around the world and its great to see their take on it especially since the one i follow is from Uzbekistan and Iran and its great to see their reaction to traveling around countries that are friendly and not friendly to Muslimsanyways there are a ton of them out there. Also maybe Schindlers List would be a good movie to watch?
Green Bay Packer fan here - It is illegal to stand outside the stadium and try to sell a ticket to an NFL game. This is known as ticket 'scalping', and is illegal in most places for most sporting events and concerts. There are legal ways for someone to sell a ticket that they won't be using though. Usually there are some additional fees associated with this process, but in theory it is less likely that you are buying a fake ticket.
Kansas City is also in Kansas. It is a twin city which is separated by a river which creates the Kansas/Missouri border. The smaller less known KC is in Kansas while it's largest portion lies in Missouri
Texas city Rockwall lake Man made? It was created by the construction of the Rockwall-Forney Dam, which impounded the East Fork Trinity River. It measures 22,745 acres (92.05 km2) in size with a storage capacity of 490,000 acre-ft (600 million m3) and a maximum depth of 40 ft (12 m
At least as far as remembering the actual states and doing so in alphabetical order theres a song that a large percentage of Americans learn when children which is called '50 Nifty United States.' Also im sure its the same in all states but we do have geography tests when in elementary school where we have to locate every state and every state capital spelling both the state name and state capitals correctly. Usually states also have at least one semester in elementary school solely on the history and geography of the state theyre living in. Also at least in California we had a state project assignment where every student in a class has to pick a state other then the one theyre living in to do a class presentation on their chosen state. Plus we also had to pick one of the Spanish Missions to do a report on and in some classes had to make a 3D model of the Spanish Mission we did our project on
Man made lakes do exist. Many are reservoirs which are typically used for drinking water (the water is of course filtered). Look up Round Valley Reservoir in New Jersey for an example. It was a small farm town in a valley that was flooded to give drinking water to Newark and the other cities in the North part of New Jersey
You can sell your tickets to a game if you are a season ticket holder, but many teams keep track of usage and may cancel your tickets if you don't attend enough games. Man made lakes are formed when humans dam rivers and streams or redirect natural water sources.
They are talking about Mack in naw - Mackinac Island, where most vehicles are not used or allowed. Indianapolis raceway also has F1 races - which started there first before they allowed Nascar.

Kansas City is a city right on the border of both Kansas and Missouri that extends into both states in the north east corner of Kansas/North West corner of Missouri. If you want to talk about the Kansas part it is called Kansas city Kansas, and the Missouri side is called Kansas city Missouri.

Hello from Warwick, Rhode Island!
Why are Packers tickets so difficult to get?
First and foremost they are extremely loyal fans.
Part of the reason why they love their team so much is that it is the only major Pro Sports team in Northern Wisconsin.
Also, from what my brother told me when he went to a packers game recently, the fans their are extremely kind and welcoming even to fans of the team they are playing against.

In trials there is someting known as change of venue where the Judge can move the location of the trial so you can't really get away with murder in Wyoming
The Green Bay Packers is owned by the city of and the ticket holders are stock holders too.
Alexandria, Virginia 😊
You two are going to be so confused watching this LOL
When it comes to criminal trials, there is such a thing a "change of venue" in order to obtain a fair trial. Also, a crime committed in a National Park would be a federal crime, so bigger punishments.

I stand with Pluto! It’s a shame what they did to Pluto….😊
In my state we have a lot of man made lakes
The Green Bay packers stadium is small and the team is owned by the people of Green Bay so there not many seats to sell
that wasnt accurate, kansas city is in missouri and in Kansas
Some of the information is wrong, there is a Kansas City, Kansas and a Kansas City, Mo.
There's only so much trivia and odd-end fact that can be shared in a video.
It's over? I don't think he mentioned my home state of Vermont.
But having maple syrup maybe makes up for it.
To create a man made lake, you need to flood land. I live by a made lake created when the river was flooded decades ago
1:20 Kansas City, Missuouri and Kansas City, Kansas are right next to each other on the states shared border. I dont know what this guy in the video is smoking on but hes wrong.
