Your channel has totally changed my outlook on Football manager tactics. Your explanation on the importance of dynamic player roles and how it affects pressing has completely changed how I play the game
This channel deserves a ton of credit for putting all this god tier info out there for free. This is my first FM game and this channel has been a life saver!
Mate I’ve said this on other videos now but the insight you bring just surpasses 95% of what anyone else is going. Great insight and proof that you don’t have to just go download a dozen Knapp tactics and then expect the game to work. What I have noticed by being tactically agile is I play the games in full now rather than key highlights etc. there is a distinct difference in results between watching the game and the game engine telling you what happened. Vol is a go to for me now always
Fletch, i love you man, just took Norwich to the prem and beating city in FA Cup final, Liverpool in the semis, Burnley and Bournemouth along the way. 120 points total for promotion, using your philosophy
Okay...I'm going to watch this video like 5 times, it's just mind-blowing 🙂 love your videos man 🙂 how about traits for the mentioned types of players, are there some that you would actively avoid/look for?
That's a really good point. Yeah I forgot about that. Loads of traits I do not like, Does not dive into tackles being my least favorite. Or a CB with runs with ball rarely.
@@FletchTheSauce I think that he's definitely not two footed but probably has a strong left foot. Still.. for his price range and attributes, he's a bargain!
I see you like very versatile players who can fit in multiple formations and sometimes roles. How much value do you put on players actually being natural or accomplished at a position vs maybe having the attributes required but low position rating? I was always under the impression that the penalty for playing out of position was fairly significant and exaggerated in FM.
@@Draddar I only care if they have the required attributes, I play players 'out of position pretty much every game', I only think it's an issue when it comes to development.
Retrain, but I dont mind at all if they game says a player cannot play a position if I think they can. Making players play out of position is my thing.
Plenty of subs and a good squad to rotate. Also when you’re leading 2-0 just drop off the intensity for the last 30min or so of a match. That’s what I do anyway
Hi, I noticed none of the positions had "strength" as a key attribute. I'm not familar with the meta, but I would have thought that "strength" would be an S category for strikers and central defenders. If anyone can offer insight, it would be most appreciated.
@@THEmajnik nah not so much, I used to think tackling was really effective. I think speed, work rate and anticipation are much better defensive attributes. Got a guy at the moment with 3 tackling and 5 marking doing a great job as regista

This content is S Tier. Keep the videos coming! You deserve way more subs!
Thank you bud. You forgive me for the height thing now :)
Amazing video mate. Thanks so much for sharing this!
Cheers! No problem.

Thank you. WOW that's unreal
We need more videos of how you approach all the different formations. Like you’re done with 442 and 433 😊
Coming soon I promise
This video is exactly what i was asking for ^^ thanks!
Happy to provide!

Can u do a vid of your different tactics? These are great!
Yup I can do!
A legend at all games and I'd make you general of my army
haha thank you. All besides poker.
@@FletchTheSauce lol poker too
Seeing the list of formations I'm curious about some of your tactics, especially the 4-2-3-1 WTF, on what occasions do you use it?
Hi! Great video, learned a lot 😊 One note: I THINK (not 100% sure) that Insigne is right footed
@@Hirojackif I get a right footed striker winger, I would get a left footed creative number 10 winger instead 👍🏻
@@FletchTheSauce alriiiight, makes sense! thanks!

Do you try to retrain players if you have the time or do you get the players that can play multiple roles from the jump
Retrain, but I dont mind at all if they game says a player cannot play a position if I think they can.
Making players play out of position is my thing.
What strategy do you use to avoid fatigue during matches?
Players with high stamina and natural fitness im guessing

The Szoboszlai spelling is sending me🤣
I am awful at spelling and pronouncing names. The scary part is I have gotten way better and I am still this bad!
How do you get world ranked in PVP? Who's doing the ranking?
@@mantorras7752 you have to play matches with a camera and mic, apply or be invited by the organizers of the various ranked tournament groups.
Where can we see that you're actually number one? Link the leaderboard please.
It's just a UA-cam video title man. Would it really be that egregious if he wasn't number one lol?
There is a twitter page that posts it. I do not follow it, people just send me the leaderboard. I don't ever actively go looking.
You don't care about tackling on your CDs or DMs? 5:13
