I heard the best custom tune is by Cary Jordan, both of my friends with M4c and M2c has it and man crazy power expect ~534 bwp on 93. And why did you not go straight to stage 2 is it the crank hub & cooling that needs to be upgraded?
The m4 and the m4 competition are basically the same car with different programming. If you remap your DME with either one you will end up with the same horsepower
@@number36420 crank hub spins are rare....they happen when power is pushed too much and too fast..I have stage 1 on my car and drive it hard and it has had no problems
but i will be getting the crankhub capture plate soon (planning on going stage 2 this summer) since that is an extremely economical approach and to date there hasn't been any spun crankhubs with the capture plate on...
Everyone says it's necessary I have a stock 2016 Cabriolet. I'd really love to do this but I'm afraid of wrecking the engine. Are you concerned about that without having the crank hub?
A stage 1 on the car totally opens it up. But it really starts to show it’s let’s when you put a custom e85 tune on it. Add some pure turbos and you’re untouchable by almost everything in a straight line, (apart from built Huracan sand crazy builds of course).

I only put stage 1 bm3 tune and K&N drop in filters to my old 2015 f80 and the car went from 11.96 bone stock to 11.46 in a 1/4 mile which I was so shocked lol I sold that car 2 years ago and can’t wait for the stupid car market to settle down so I can get me ether 2018 M3 or 2020 M4 cp cause the new G models are so turn off. F8x are proper M car all around besides the exhaust in my personal opinion. New G8x I take only the performance and exhaust tune a little. The rest is way far from an M car.
Might not look as good as a F8X but in performance, handling, and tuning it'll exceed the older model. (Speaking from experience driving both on a regular basis)

Boring, synthetic, souless ya thats what those journalist said back when the F8x came out in 14. When i drove one I didnt understand how they came to that conclusion I fell in love right on the spot it has an angry and playful nature to it while also feeling a bit overpowered the torque kind of surprised me.

If you have access to e85, a custom e85 tune will transform this car into an actual monster for such little money. Highly recommend

Your M4 is not comp ? How did u get pops and burbles with just MPE exhaust ? Mine doesnt do it sadly
BM3 allows you to have burbles regardless of exhaust. I highly recommend, they have preset and custom burble settings.
Yep! I selected the ZCP burble setting when I flashed the car which is just the comp overrun

Agree with you Omar, S55 with the DCT is on a different league compared to B58 with ZF8 (great though that engine and gearbox are)

The perfect setup I’ve found for the track is GTS tune, GTS differential tune, CS suspension and DCT.
I need to get the GTS software flashed onto my car, ive heard it helps a lot!

What are your bootmod3 stage 1 settings? Specifically burble, boost reduction by gear, and exhaust flap. Great video
if you don't have a catless dp you have to keep the burble under 5 according to them
