Trying Every Bootmod3 Burble Setting On My BMW F80 M3 - INCLUDING Sound Clips!

- If you know me, dialing in exhaust sound is extremely important to get that right note. Thankfully, bootmod3 gives you the option to fine tune your burble settings to whatever suits you best. I played around with all the settings to find what works for me and I can confidently say, I found the most perfect setting! Try it out!

Burble is so hard to get right and not sound trashy but I agree that is perfect.
I’d be embarrassed to tell everyone how many different settings I tried to get it to this point haha. I’m glad I found it though.

You need bootmod3 and adjust the settings as shown in the video.

Nice video man. I'm glad you made this style video for BM3 as I made one for MHD. Good for people to see their options before buying! Gotta say, I think the BM3 burbles sound much better than MHD burbles...

BMW drivers have the most anxious burble tunes, especially the ones with the automatic. I'm 25 and I only like my burble in down shift and rev matched.
Bm3 burbles way different than MHD. I got mine on MHD set to Sport: 0.8sec, Soft. Sport+ off. (I use the sport+ as a "race mode" no burbles, traction fully off.
MHD Burble Options:
Loudness: OEM, Soft, Medium, Hard
Duration: 0.0-2.5 sec
Rpm: 0-7,000
Speed 0-150mph
So on RPM i got mine set to:2,400-6,000 so driving normal in sport mode under 2,400 it doesnt burble.
You can adjust the rpm range on bm3 as well. I left it at 0-5650 for both sport and sport+
5:03 and 8:45

Damn for S55 you can set it for sport and sport+ separate? On my b58 I can only do between comfort and sport with sport+ sharing the settings with sport

Not too worried about it. Just got it inspected late last year so I’ll deal with it when the time comes.

Do you think the 1.8 duration & 0.8 aggression would work well for BM3 stage 2 (agg)? I have the stock muffler on my F8X so all the burbles are quieter so I ran (agg)

You’ll need a Downpipe if you want to run stage 2. But stage 1 you can run it on a stock exhaust.
What exhaust system are you running?

Zero is best.
No burbles sound good as well, but the small amount of crackle does the exhaust good. The good thing is I have the 3 settings at my fingertips so I can turn them completely off at the press of a button.
