The best and most heartfelt reaction to ELVIS i have heard in a long time, it bought tears to my eyes remembering what a great performer he was, thank you.
It's great that you've had the connection to Elvis and his music and have a heart for him. He was one very special and iconic human being who surely left his mark for so many. People still make pilgrimages to his home in Graceland.
Elvis was a master at making songs 'beautiful and sad' at the same time. The words of the song might be sad, but the beauty of his voice and what he did with it, was inspirational.
This clip makes me so emotional.. this beautiful man was so sick and I believe he knew he didn’t have long to go too.. but he gave his whole heart and soul here.. RIP u beautiful man… u deserve to rest peacefully now .. Gods Angel ❤️❤️
I know Elvis because of my mama, she passed away 24 years ago on the 10th. Elvis, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, The Oak Ridge Boys, and the Statler Brothers. That's what she listen to. Back in the day, it's make mix tapes of 90s rock and slip one in, so when I was cruising around with my buddies and we'd be jamming to Tool or Nirvana there track would end and there'd be Elvis, or Marty Robbins. Their WTF reactions were great as expected and I'd say shut up this is for my mom and they'd shut up.
You don't have to be an elvis fan to love and appreciate this performance and understand he was saying goodbye, everytime I watch this I'm in tears ...one of the most heart felt performance of this song ever
You are the best reviewer on utube, I can see the feeling for the performer in your pretty eyes. As far as Elvis there will never be anyone like him, he was a unique person. Keep up the great work.
"My Way" is a song popularized in 1969 by Frank Sinatra set to the music of the French song "Comme d´habitude". Its English lyrics were written by Paul Anka and are unrelated to the French song. My Way was a success for a variety of performers including Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Sid Vicious. Elvis began performing the song in concert during the mid-1970s. Thanks Sarah! For a great reaction video by Elvis.🙂
Paul told Elvis that the song didn't suit him. That it was meant for the tough guy image that Sinatra had. It's funny. The words on the screen don't match the lyrics some or most of the time. Real : too few to mention Screen : to future merchants Real : I find it all so amusing Screen : I find it old soul music Real : And may I say Screen : I'm the man I see
I just had to comment I’ve been watching your Elvis videos for a while, but your comment on Elvis Presley singing my Way was so genuine that I had to subscribe. I’ve loved Elvis since I’m five years old absolutely adored him as a little girl and now in the golden years of my life in my late 60s, I love him if not more than that first time I set my eyes on him as a child. I was so lucky as a teenager after waiting online for days at a time and sleeping in the street waiting online to get those Elvis Presley tickets. Me and my mom and my brother we slept in the street for days with thousands of others. Remember there was only cash then and there was no computers so we had to wait online. Seeing Elvis live about eight times when I looked back at my life was probably the greatest eight times of my lifetime when you love Elvis it’s eternal and it’s genuine. I honored him and I respect him and I will love him and hopefully his will be the last voice I hear as I pass to the next lifetime God bless you and thank you for not only learning about Elvis, But in showing the genuine affection that you showed in this particular reaction. You’ve got my subscription. God bless you.
Sarah, the best in this video was your reaction. We could see what you were feeling looking at him! And you were feeling the same everybody felt! It was impossible to watch this video without feeling tears in our faces, looking at this great Elvis singing "And now, the end is near...". Greetings from Portugal.
We loved him then and we love him still. I can’t imagine life without Elvis as the soundtrack. He will sing me home. My funeral song is “Why Me Lord”? His version stills my heart. 💙
You are so beautifully sweet😪😪with your heartfelt & humbling reaction to this Elvis performance💓💓 you totally had me tearing up as well💔 After just discovering and becoming a huge Elvis fan, within the last five months at age 41 myself, I have watched SO SO SO many of his performances, throughout all the decades of his career, over & over again, interviews and behind the scenes rehearsals and so on and so on. Where every song and every performance, he has made me feel a certain type of emotion, something so beyond special! I still can't put it into words! And I absolutely understand that people prefer his other performances as opposed to this last 1977 live one, i because it is so so heartbreaking & sad. But as I continue to venture into my own Elvis rabbit hole, as hard as it was to see him deteriorating throughout those years & how much of a difference his appearance had changed, seeing him the way he looked in this, (as they say) his last live concert in 1977. But what I've come to accept and now truly truly feel, is that as heart wrenching as it is, as sick as he was and as much sorrow that he may have been feeling, for me every single song he sang in this concert, his voice was on another level from God! Giving him even more gift through his voice, it is just astonishing & so unreal given what he was going through, under everything! And with this being his last performances of these songs, where he belted out with immense power like no other and just gives me a surreal sense of comfort, happiness and pride in the glory that is Elvis Presley! His amazing talent, grace and ability to be a pure human being, ending on a note the way he did through this concert! And you, Sarah from all your Elvis reactions, i think feel the same way?! Your beautiful! Please keep the elvis reactions coming! Much Love! Elvis Family of Fans for Life!!💞💞💞💞 "HOW GREAT THOU ART" (1977 Live) "HURT" (1977 Live)
People (45 years after he's gone) still call Elvis King of Rock'n roll, but he did not like that, he considerd that the only King was God, but I consider him to be the King of Music, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a Music King? Here are some of his Gospel songs: Amazing Graze, Take me home precisous Lord, How great though art, You'll never walk alone, You gave me a mountin, Crying in the chapel, Why me Lord (written by Kris Kristofferson), Unchained melody, I'm not sure if it's a gospel song but Walk a mile in my shoes and many more... . If you prefer ballad songs then look at these: My Way, Suspicius minds, In the Ghetto, Memories, If I can dream that is a tribute (parts of it is taken directly from the I can dream speach by MLK) to Martin Luther King JR and Robert Kennedy, Walk a mile in my shoes, Make The World Go Away, Bridge Over Troubled Water, An American Thrillergy, Hurt, Sweet Caroline, Just Pretend, What now my love, Are you lonesome tonight (laughing versin, or not), remember that he sang over 700 songs... There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time !! He is the only person to have 2 records gone to sell Gold and 2 to to sell Platinum since he died. Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of), no one else is in more then perhaps 2. Not to bad for someone that did not have any singing lessons ever, right? . Something else that people tend to overlook: He always conducts his musicans and backup singers, he never gets credit for being able to do that... Then imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure? That is what Elvis did in over 1000 concerts, despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy... He sang over 700 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples songs, well that in it self is amazing in it self... By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting !! Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right?
@Sarah- You thought that you pulled the right Elvis version of My Way up but this is actually him performing it in 77 and its pretty bad bc he was out of it. I might not even watch this one. You won't to react to him singing My Way in 1973 Aloha from Hawaii. That is a great performance.
Yes, I agree, Aloha was a superior performance, however, this version is very heartfelt. Elvis always gave his all, even though he was sick. It was a beautiful reaction by Sarah❣✌
Elvis at his deathbed, June 21st 1977. Sick and addicted beyond words, dead on 16th august 1977, a few weeks later. One of the most tragic televised TV-music docus I have ever seen. The version from 1973 is monumental, this is totally heartbreaking. He does a great job here also, but it is difficult seeing the pain this man was in.
Sarah; this ia awesome, considering the King was just 6 weeks away from us; however, you must check out My Way from his (at his BEST)Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii concert 1❤👍👏
The best there ever was or will be. He can sing any kind of song anyway you want and make you feel what he was feeling. One in a billion talent. 🔥
Such a beautiful man,who just gave from his heart and soul, till the very end ,but his spirit will live in our hearts and soul forever
The best and most heartfelt reaction to ELVIS i have heard in a long time, it bought tears to my eyes remembering what a great performer he was, thank you.
The definitive performance. Presley knocked the b&*()%^&s off Sinatra's version.
Great reaction to one of the highlights IMHO of his June 1977 Rapid City concert along with Unchained Melody and Hurt.
His voice never failed him
Thank you dear
Yes I agree he needs his voice never failed him even when he started having all this health problems
To think in a few weeks, he'd be gone. This was a beautiful reaction, Sarah. Thank you.
You did a very nice reaction to this video.
One of the greatest REACTIONS to this song Ive ever seen.
Absolutely beautiful! You were wonderful! 😊
It's great that you've had the connection to Elvis and his music and have a heart for him. He was one very special and iconic human being who surely left his mark for so many. People still make pilgrimages to his home in Graceland.

Thank you for that great review. Elvis is the best.

This version was not Hawaii, this was during his last tour in 1977. You did a very nice reaction to this video.

Sarah your reaction really touched me
You're right he knew the end was near. You understood and made me cry. Thank you xx

This is the best My Way. I never tire of hearing it. Beautiful and sad at the same time. He was a brave man.
The Man in the Arena.
You. Are. One. Of. A. Kind. Luv. You

Within weeks he would be gone and we still miss him. Thank you.
Elvis è immenso, unico al mondo, non ci sarà mai più un Elvis. Lui sarà per sempre il Re
Even at his concert he gave us his best !!!!
God Bless You and Yours!!!!
Wayne

"HOW GREAT THOU ART" (1977 Live)
"HURT" (1977 Live)
I'm crying my WAY
Elvis The best, indiscutivelmente.
🇧🇷🎧
He really was brilliant.
In hindsight, he didn't look well
Great reaction
That's not Hawaii that's Rapid City-South Dakota 1977; 6 weeks before he died, personally I prefer this version than the Hawaii one.
He didn't die 6 weeks later, he died 8 weeks later.
Outch from one of his last concersts, he was so sick there and died 8 weeks later...
I react the same way always cry to that song
When his health was at his worst he was still the best.
Frank Sinatra is known for this song but Elvis kills it.

Your so beautiful 😍
React to the song My Way by Frank Sinatra iit's The Original version
@Sarah- You thought that you pulled the right Elvis version of My Way up but this is actually him performing it in 77 and its pretty bad bc he was out of it. I might not even watch this one. You won't to react to him singing My Way in 1973 Aloha from Hawaii. That is a great performance.
I am with the comment of Armando Nieves above that this version IMHO is far superior to Hawaii but hey the man was something else either way 😊😊
Yes, I agree, Aloha was a superior performance, however, this version is very heartfelt. Elvis always gave his all, even though he was sick. It was a beautiful reaction by Sarah❣✌
You listening to the wrong version, 73 Hawaii the official concert not the rehearsal even though that's great, he sings it like the king he is .
Such a God damn shame.... we remember elvis like this?!!!! Of all he did.!!!! And we remember this??,!!! God damn shame.
Elvis at his deathbed, June 21st 1977. Sick and addicted beyond words, dead on 16th august 1977, a few weeks later. One of the most tragic televised TV-music docus I have ever seen. Unfortunately that was the last time you ever perform that song he was gone just six weeks later
He died 3 weeks after this. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Only one Elvis
he was bloated here
I hate Tom Parker
God Bless Elvis and God Bless you
You are beautiful woman inside and out
Sarah; this ia awesome, considering the King was just 6 weeks away from us; however, you must check out My Way from his (at his BEST)Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii concert 1❤👍👏
Sarah, you are a very emotional person and you have a big heart. I love it.
Amazing yet heartbreaking at the same time. T C B ⚡️
And he was gone weeks later. Such a sad day for us then. I remember it so clearly. The world lost one of it's Wonders of the World
