    Listen to Suspicious Minds,1970 Just Pretend 1970, I'll Remember You 1973. I was at his 1973 concert 3rd row center n this concert was broadcasted around the World n seen by 1.5 Billion people. I have been listening to Elvis since 1956 n yes I am old now but his music keeps me young.Elvis went from being dirt poor to a billionaire. Gave most of his money away n gifts of houses, Cadillacs, Motorcycles, horses, trips etc. He sang RNR, country n Gospel. He was religious read the Bible everyday n sang gospel music sometimes all night long. He never wanted to be called King. He said Jesus is King of all King's n he was only an entertainer. There will never be another Elvis. I could tell you ALOT about this man but it would take me an hour to tell everything. Thank you for keeping Elvis Music Alive. Great Reaction.

    In 1973 they broadcast on TV an Elvis concert. And with this and other songs we got a concert experience with Elvis at home. He was that good, I was 21 when he died in 1977.

    Elvis was 42 years old when he passed in August of 1977. He was 42 in this performance. This is his last conert tour, which was filmed during his June 1977 tour, which as i stated, sadly, was his last. 2 months later, he would be dead of heart failure from prescription drug abuse. His doctor was put on trial for involuntary manslaughter for over prescribing his famous patient. He was aquitted on the involuntary manslaughter charge, was ordered to surrender his medical license.

    PLEASE NOTICE --- Even sick enough to be in a hospital here with the weight forgetting lyrics short of breath and death just weeks away listen to that VOICE-!!! That regal voice never falied him to the very last, he always gave the audience all he had. In the last few months this song really did feel ominous to those who knew what bad health he was in. @Tim Carr it was just a typo. It's fixed.

    • @timcarr6401
      @timcarr6401 3 роки тому +2

      @@southwestjeffcpni What did you change? It says the same thing. Rock 'n' Roll doesn't exist within all genres. It is a separate genre.
      Another thing, R&R existed before Elvis was born. Have you ever heard of Sister Rosetta Tharpe? In the late 1940s Fats Domino was doing boogie woogie which is basically R&R. A lot of R&B songs were what can be called R&R. Elvis admitted in interviews that R&R existed long before he came around. Elvis juiced it up and it became mainstream. It opened a lot of doors for black singers.
      Aside from R&R Elvis sang all kinds of music. Maybe that's what you were trying to say. He became associated with R&R, but he did so many different styles of music that he can't be pigeonholed into doing just one form of music.

      @@timcarr6401 I agree with your point, undeniable. I think OP is trying to say r&r wouldn't have reached as many people, and therefore spawned other genres, without Elvis.
      But yes, obviously it excited before him, and the originators long outlived him... like Chuck, Lil Rich, etc

    • @timcarr6401
      @timcarr6401 3 роки тому

      @@FluffyMcFluffavicMeowskiOFluff Chuck B and Little Richard were not originators of R&R. Elvis was recording R&R/Rockabilly more than a year before either of these guys. And I know that Little Richard had a head start on Elvis. He started recording in 1951. But none of his dozen songs before "Tutti Frutti" can be put in the same class.

    Ladies beautiful reaction, but if you want to see why every woman wanted him and every guy wanted to be him watch One night with you from 68 comeback special or if you want to see Elvis really get down watch suspicious minds or Polk salad Annie from his 1970 performance in Vegas live. I promise you will love it. There are so many great songs by Elvis from his early years to his 31 movies or his epic comeback in 68, his 1970 concert is one of the greatest concert in history. And his final years are truly majestic. Watch a little more and you will see why he's the king of rock and roll. Also if you want to see two other songs that will blow your mind are his version of you lost that love and feeling and bridge over troubled water from his 1970 performance in Vegas live and if you want to see something no other singer has done before or could get away with today watch love me tender live from the 1970 performance in Vegas live. It will blow your mind. I know it's a lot but if you want to see the greatest entertainer to ever live just watch any of the above. You be the judge. Enjoy 😎
