Listen to Suspicious Minds,1970 Just Pretend 1970, I'll Remember You 1973. I was at his 1973 concert 3rd row center n this concert was broadcasted around the World n seen by 1.5 Billion people. I have been listening to Elvis since 1956 n yes I am old now but his music keeps me young.Elvis went from being dirt poor to a billionaire. Gave most of his money away n gifts of houses, Cadillacs, Motorcycles, horses, trips etc. He sang RNR, country n Gospel. He was religious read the Bible everyday n sang gospel music sometimes all night long. He never wanted to be called King. He said Jesus is King of all King's n he was only an entertainer. There will never be another Elvis. I could tell you ALOT about this man but it would take me an hour to tell everything. Thank you for keeping Elvis Music Alive. Great Reaction.
Just Damn. I should have played this at my Father's funeral. I hope my kids will play it at mine. Live and Love Life Young People LEAVE NOTHING on the table when it is your time. Build People up and lift them up with you as you travel through Life's Journey.
In 1973 they broadcast on TV an Elvis concert. And with this and other songs we got a concert experience with Elvis at home. He was that good, I was 21 when he died in 1977.
Never been a huge fan of Elvis but hes easily one of the greatest legends ever in music period this performance always gives me chills though its sad you can see the tiredness in his eyes but he still sounds fantastic
Elvis was 42 years old when he passed in August of 1977. He was 42 in this performance. This is his last conert tour, which was filmed during his June 1977 tour, which as i stated, sadly, was his last. 2 months later, he would be dead of heart failure from prescription drug abuse. His doctor was put on trial for involuntary manslaughter for over prescribing his famous patient. He was aquitted on the involuntary manslaughter charge, was ordered to surrender his medical license.
PLEASE NOTICE --- Even sick enough to be in a hospital here with the weight forgetting lyrics short of breath and death just weeks away listen to that VOICE-!!! That regal voice never falied him to the very last, he always gave the audience all he had. In the last few months this song really did feel ominous to those who knew what bad health he was in. Thank you for all you gave us Elvis, you will never be forgotten. RIP
Very good reaction by you sisters. Elvis the G.O.A.T. Please react to Like a bridge over troubled water live 1970 Elvis. This one is unreal and amazing preformence by the king.
@@southwestjeffcpni What did you change? It says the same thing. Rock 'n' Roll doesn't exist within all genres. It is a separate genre. Another thing, R&R existed before Elvis was born. Have you ever heard of Sister Rosetta Tharpe? In the late 1940s Fats Domino was doing boogie woogie which is basically R&R. A lot of R&B songs were what can be called R&R. Elvis admitted in interviews that R&R existed long before he came around. Elvis juiced it up and it became mainstream. It opened a lot of doors for black singers. Aside from R&R Elvis sang all kinds of music. Maybe that's what you were trying to say. He became associated with R&R, but he did so many different styles of music that he can't be pigeonholed into doing just one form of music.

He died several weeks later as ill as he was he still sang his heart out he was 42 I find it so hard to watch him in that concert you need to check out 68 comeback special Polk salad Annie and Suspicious minds live from Las vegas thank you both 😷✌
Great reaction. Elvis died aged 42 in August 1977. This was his last recorded concert and he died around 6 weeks later. Can you please react to Elvis live 1970 singing BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER. Thanks
Think about this fact his Hawaii concert had over 1.2 BILLION people watch that concert over 82 percent of all T.V. s. Tuned into his concert. More people watched his concert then the people who watched the first landing on the moon
It's actually a French song, then Paul Anka translatedit and changed some of the lyrics. He gave it to Frank Sinatra, but it's as I said a french song originally...
He looked terrible here. Up until 1970 he was looking like a matinee idol...but slowly the food binges and drugs wore him down PHYSICALLY as shows in this video (1977) he died of a cardiac arrest on his bathroom floor while his live in girlfriend Ginger was asleep in their bed a few months after this was filmed. R🙏🏽P ELVIS THE 👑 KING
The King!! ❤️ Fat Elivis... The Burger King lol. I wish you'd reacted to his energetic live songs. btw I'm pretty sure the original version of this song was in French and Sanatra covered it in English.

He's sold more records than anyone in history not even close. Love you Ladies and love Elvis.
Yeah, he was clearly not well here as he was so close to the end of his life. His performance of this in his Aloha Special was a bit stronger than this one.
His beautiful talented soul lives on in so many of us still.
42 years old Elvis left the earth. I was 10 years old.
Both girls are so correct even casual fans of elvis say his live singing back in the 70s is better then what he did in the studio.
Yes Elvis you did it your way you were the best performer and singer ever taken from us way too soon you will be in our hearts forever 💖
This is a truthful song for him...he did it his way for sure...till the end!
