As a person who struggles with intrusive thoughts, I want to change my life and read the bible so these thoughts can disappear. These videos are helping me become a better person, and I can see the decline of the intrusive thoughts I'm having. God is always good.

I am 18 years old this year.Even I used to think that just reading the bible chapter by chapter starting from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 by simply reading through highlighting words was good enough. Now I have a slightly deeper understanding. Thank you, Impact Video Ministries for this video. I could never do this without you. Now that I'm still a student in college, I will still take my time to summarise and digest what I have learnt in this video. Read whichever version is easiest for you to read and understand is fine. I wouldn't recommend the Passion or the Message translations. Or the Jehovah Witness New Word translation. The NIV is a fine translation.

This is very helpfull, I am currently reading A Bible in A Year, English Standard Version, Catholic Edition. That's it just reading and enjoying it. Also I've had my hard back copy of the Good News Bible since 1985. Before that a paper back copy of same which eventually fell apart. I have a study book since 2019 but not used yet. It included a separate Time Line chart which I am using with my Bible in A Year. 1985.
I believe as a life long believer in Jesus Christ ( I'm 71). The first step before even opening your Bible is to pray, ask Your Heavenly Father to fill you with His Holy Spirit. He will guide and come along side, opening up Gods Word. Without this reading and studying the Bible is a mere educational exercise. A long time ago whilst attending a Bible study house group, a husband and wife team came, the husband was very knowledgeable about the Bible but at the same time a nonbeliever, I asked his wife about this, her reply " he had a very good education".
As a person whos 13 abd who struggles with ADHD this is helpful! Ive been getting closer to God everyday! And even listening to Gospel! I used to start at Genesis but tysm! ❤!
I am a 13 year old Catholic, and I feel as if I am a Lukewarm Christian. I am going to begin studying the NAB Translated Bible and do the Rosary every night. This helped a LOT to help me with the Bible. Thanks!

I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years, sometimes walking away from the church. I began attending and being involved in a church a year ago. I would love to say my Bible study time renewed itself too. It didn’t. I never really felt I knew what to do and felt like study plans were the quick way out. I never got much out of them. Then today, I couldn’t sleep and UA-cam suggested your video. You would think I wouldn’t need the beginner version but I kinda do. I never really learned how to study the Bible. Thank you. I’ve needed this for 40+ years.
Same here! Sometimes we get busy doing things for God, serving in church etc. but if we miss making time to BE with our heavenly Father in prayer and Bible study, we'll dry up, lose our spiritual bearings. Been there so many times! Lord help us to be hungry, disciplined and faithful to You

I can't thank you enough for these videos! I've been a Christian for 13 years, and have been following a Through the Bible in a year reading plan, but lately I've definitely had the sense that my reading is more quantity than quality. I seldom ever have the sense of God really speaking to me, but that has changed since I have followed the tips in this video. Even though I'm not a new Christian or new to reading the Bible, I see now that I have been approaching it in the completely wrong way, and your tips for observation and application are making a huge difference. I just want to say, if it is difficult to read or always something gets into your way, remember there is also audio versions. This is how I started. In deep need for God's word. I didn't waste no time, jumped on John's Gospel and listened the whole book. It touched me deeply and instantly helped get through difficult time.
NLT was my beginner Bible too and boy did it do wonders for me. I read NKJV now, but I’ll be buying NLT again because it really has a special place in my walk of faith.

Have a pencil & notebook especially for Bible, video studies. Take notes on what convicts you or highlights of the teaching. I’ve been a Christian for over 40 years, sometimes walking away from the church. I began attending and being involved in a church a year ago. I would love to say my Bible study time renewed itself too. It didn’t. I never really felt I knew what to do and felt like study plans were the quick way out. I never got much out of them.
Then today, I couldn’t sleep and UA-cam suggested your video. You would think I wouldn’t need the beginner version but I kinda do. I never really learned how to study the Bible.

Same here! Sometimes we get busy doing things for God, serving in church etc. but if we miss making time to BE with our heavenly Father in prayer and Bible study, we'll dry up, lose our spiritual bearings. Been there so many times! Lord help us to be hungry, disciplined and faithful to You

I can't thank you enough for these videos! I've been a Christian for 13 years, and have been following a Through the Bible in a year reading plan, but lately I've definitely had the sense that my reading is more quantity than quality. I seldom ever have the sense of God really speaking to me, but that has changed since I have followed the tips in this video. Even though I'm not a new Christian or new to reading the Bible, I see now that I have been approaching it in the completely wrong way, and your tips for observation and application are making a huge difference. I just want to say, if it is difficult to read or always something gets into your way, remember there is also audio versions. This is how I started. In deep need for God's word. I didn't waste no time, jumped on John's Gospel and listened the whole book. It touched me deeply and instantly helped get through difficult time.
NLT was my beginner Bible too and boy did it do wonders for me. I read NKJV now, but I’ll be buying NLT again because it really has a special place in my walk of faith.

Have a pencil & notebook especially for Bible, video studies. Take notes on what convicts you or highlights of the teaching. The tactile act of writing helps your brain absorb the information for long-term recall!

Awww I really wish I have this helpful tips when I begin reading and studying the Bible. It took me 2 years to finish the Bible. Then i begin again and again. This will help for the younger generations. ❤❤ keep up with this the next generations need more people to show in a fun way is fun to read and studying the Bible. My Bible is do ful of different colors highlighter. Looks like a rainbow hahahahah. I share this to all the younger generations I know thinks Bible is boring. Hahahaha
