I'm a 12 years old girl trying to build a relantionship with God I'll admit, it been really hard. I see everyone's relantionships and i wonder why mine is not as perfect as theirs are. I won't stop trying to get near God, even tho i fell really far from him sometimes. And i fear, i fear that i won't get choosen when the rapture starts, even tho i try, and i fear that even tho i'm choosen, i won't have my friends or family there with me. Hi love! God loves you. Everyone has their own relationship. There is no need to compare. What you and God have is what you have alone. Focus on Him, not others. Focus on spending time with Him, no need to compare. He is your Father. Develop a passionate relationship with just Him and you. He loves you, read His Word, join a Bible study, and spend time alone with Him. Like a prayer walk or on your own time. You are so young and watching these videos. To many people you are ahead of the game! Don’t worry though. It’s not a game. We all have our own paths and we have just enough time to do God’s will. When you are anxious, pray. I’m 15 and I’ve struggled with insecurity all my life, but it’s been getting a lot harder these past few years. What helps me is remembering who I am in Christ, and just meditating on that. You are not alone, and Jesus loves you 🫶🏻
My insecurities stems from self-hate, which slightly began when I became a teenager, worse, I was ashamed of my background (mom being a nobody, she spoke about changing her life but we, her children were a priority.. ). That burden of knowing you're a stumbling block in your mother's success, weighed heavily on me for a while.

I can relate with the feeling of insecurity when I started the Nursing Program on August 19th, and I came to the college in my nursing uniform, and everyone else was in regular clothes that day!! 🤦♀️ And I was upset and insecure about even being there anymore, BUT God!! But God has been helping me be more comfortable with my classmates, and now I hope to share Jesus with my classmates!!! 😊 Thank You, Lord Jesus!!! 🙌 P.S. Im a psychopath, due to a meth overdose it made me really emotionless. But I am insecure due to how I look, and a lot of the love and sympathy u do feel is through Christ Jesus whom softens my heart. My brain doesn't feel but my heart does. I'll tell you this much. Jesus will give you strength to overcome Edit: I'm not really a psychopath, but I have a neurological disease with my frontal lobe because of an overdose on meth (ik I got extremely unlucky, but without it I wouldn't have my faith in Christ. @@Takeawayjustin i was on a really long meth trip. I had a rare mental health disorder called Alice and wonderland syndrome. Then after 2 years of tripping I had a stroke and my schizophrenia stopped. It mademit incredibly hard to think thoughts and feel emotions. That's what a lifetime of drug abuse can do to you. Or in my case 3 years of heavy meth usage, a long with lots of other drugs. But faith in Christ Jesus has made me strong and able to overcome my hardships

#7 Really hit home. Me and my older brother, had a falling out 5 years ago. We didn’t speak to each other because we had said things that we couldn’t take back. So, for those 5 years, I kept having dreams about him. Some good and a lot bad, but about a week and a half ago, I called him(he lives in a different state than I) and I prayed on it too and I was expecting it to not go well, but I was thankful that it went well. We talked for about a half hour about different things. I truly felt like God answered my prayer about this. I don’t know if I’ll ever see or from my brother again, but that weight was lifted off me and never had any bad dreams again!

20:18 The last reasoning resonates with me so much. For I keep involving myself in the wrong kind of people. The people who slander, gaslight, attack, and abuse me. Sometimes, I try to be very kind to them. Other times, I get pushed to say something offensive to them. It ruins my mentality. Because, now I see videos and posts of people constantly gaslighting me for my mistakes, but they don't want to realize the stuff they don't want to show guilt for the way they treated me. I want to be humble and respectful to everyone, but the people who accuse me as this horrible individual makes me feel like my life isn't worth anything. That said... I had blocked the people who constantly gaslight and slandered me behind my back. I just don't know if I can trust anyone at this point. I've been hurt too many times already that now my trust has only dropped to my parents, brother, and especially God. Everyone else, I see them as a threat. I really resonate with #3, #7, #9. Number 3 I struggle with daily of others opinion on me and how I preach the gospel. Like what if I say something that contradicts what I’m talking abt. Or what if I’m not sure on an issue. Number 7 is one that has happed to me before, someone has said something to me in church that I didn’t appreciate and I didn’t say anything really. But I know now that it’s okay and I should just say what I need to say out of love. Number 9 is one I did all the time😅 when I was younger and a little now, sometimes I don’t want to do things people have asked me to do so I lie and instantly I regret it and feel embarrassed. I struggle with insecurity. I also struggle with suffering in silence. I almost ended my life this year and it took me wanting to do that twice before I told my mom. Thank you for this video - these are v good points! I was expecting tips on how to be more confident in God (internal things like how to change our mindsets or hype ourselves up), but this video gave points more on how we relate with others, which in turn can help us overcome our insecurities. Can’t really emphasize enough how important it is to have good, godly relationships.

I always thought I was the strong kind of a secured person that encourages many, not until a strom hit us (not literal). Those beloved people... to whom I thought I was pouring myself on turns out the same people who kept me going.But God has a greater plan! Although we have been seperated to our previous church, we learned that Jesus Christ, when at the center of everything is the strongest foundation. Sometimes relationship fails, but I trust that God will keep working in His son's and daughters, so that no matter how tough this life gets, we will all rise like eagles! No one will remain insecure! I'm 16, second youngest daughter. Growing up in toxic yet loving asian household where yes.. you feel like they give me love atleast to fill the bare minimum, but the unloved feeling they fed to me is way too much. Back then, i was am genuinely happy with other's achievements, but since my parents start comparing me to others whether it's my siblings, my friends, the neighbour's child, made me grew to be a perfectionist and i always hate myself for not be able to satisfy my parents request. In the process, i also end up sabotage my friendships as they faded away and some leave, fortunately some also stay. i had to bottled up my feelings, i had to hold it in, i always be one to blame and i must understand somebody conditions yet they don't care about MY conditions. And they left me out. I'm sorry i keep yapping about myself, and if you're uncomfortable with reading this... feel free to block or report this. I hope people out there, someday or one day... able to win against insecurity. May they realized how much their lives matter to God.

my biggest insecurity has always been worrying about what others think of me. personally, ive had many people assume im gay. mainly because ive always had more female friends than guy friends. i have my share of guy friends who i value highly but there are times when id rather be talking to a female friend. ive never been insecure about my manliness until now. ive always been into sports, not so much the best athlete myself but i love talking about them, and stuff like video games and legos/cars. stuff like that. but ive never been the type to sexualize women, watch porn, or even act inappropriately with my friends as a joke. so even when people assumed i was “that”, it didnt bother me because i was confident in who i was. ive always been lukewarm so i cant even say it was because i was deeply rooted in Christ, i just never let it get to me. until now, im a junior in high school and i see so much ungodliness around me everyday. over the summer i broke up with my girlfriend because i let overthinking and insecurity get the best of me. at first i was insecure because i was scared id end up hurting her, which that mindset eventually led to me doing so. somehow some way, that insecurity turned into “what if everything people have thought about me was true?” and once that thought popped in my head, its been a constant battle to get that thought out of my head. since i had the thought ive tried my hardest to turn to Christ hoping maybe if i gave him every second i could dedicate to him i would be cleared of that intrusive thought. i dont want to give up but i still go about my days in fear that it might be true. i just feel like i cant even have fun anymore without overthinking it. it makes me feel horrible because ive never thought like this and ive never wanted to. i pray every night but im still scared. please please please pray for me if youre reading this. im not giving up, but its hard when i see this ungodliness everywhere i go and it reminds me. im sorry for the long read but if you see this i really appreciate you🙏🏼

My insecurities stems from self-hate, which slightly began when I became a teenager, worse, I was ashamed of my background (mom being a nobody, she spoke about changing her life but we, her children were a priority.. ). That burden of knowing you're a stumbling block in your mother's success, weighed heavily on me for a while.

I can relate with the feeling of insecurity when I started the Nursing Program on August 19th, and I came to the college in my nursing uniform, and everyone else was in regular clothes that day!! 🤦♀️ And I was upset and insecure about even being there anymore, BUT God!! But God has been helping me be more comfortable with my classmates, and now I hope to share Jesus with my classmates!!! 😊 Thank You, Lord Jesus!!! 🙌

Im a psychopath, due to a meth overdose it made me really emotionless. But I am insecure due to how I look, and a lot of the love and sympathy u do feel is through Christ Jesus whom softens my heart. My brain doesn't feel but my heart does. I'll tell you this much. Jesus will give you strength to overcome
Edit: I'm not really a psychopath, but I have a neurological disease with my frontal lobe because of an overdose on meth (ik I got extremely unlucky, but without it I wouldn't have my faith in Christ. I'm praying to be healed)

@@Takeawayjustin i was on a really long meth trip. I had a rare mental health disorder called Alice and wonderland syndrome. Then after 2 years of tripping I had a stroke and my schizophrenia stopped. It mademit incredibly hard to think thoughts and feel emotions. That's what a lifetime of drug abuse can do to you. Or in my case 3 years of heavy meth usage, a long with lots of other drugs. But faith in Christ Jesus has made me strong and able to overcome my hardships

Me and my older brother, had a falling out 5 years ago. We didn’t speak to each other because we had said things that we couldn’t take back. So, for those 5 years, I kept having dreams about him. Some good and a lot bad, but about a week and a half ago, I called him(he lives in a different state than I) and I prayed on it too and I was expecting it to not go well, but I was thankful that it went well. We talked for about a half hour about different things. I truly felt like God answered my prayer about this. I don’t know if I’ll ever see or from my brother again, but that weight was lifted off me and never had any bad dreams again!

I’ve felt very lonely at times despite living with my family and have started leaning on God as of very recently. With so many doubts and insecurities about my life, God is beginning to answer my prayers.

20:18 The last reasoning resonates with me so much. For I keep involving myself in the wrong kind of people. The people who slander, gaslight, attack, and abuse me. Sometimes, I try to be very kind to them. Other times, I get pushed to say something offensive to them. It ruins my mentality.
Because, now I see videos and posts of people constantly gaslighting me for my mistakes, but they don't want to realize the stuff they don't want to show guilt for the way they treated me. I want to be humble and respectful to everyone, but the people who accuse me as this horrible individual makes me feel like my life isn't worth anything.
That said... I had blocked the people who constantly gaslight and slandered me behind my back. I just don't know if I can trust anyone at this point. I've been hurt too many times already that now my trust has only dropped to my parents, brother, and especially God. Everyone else, I see them as a threat. Not because I hate them but because they hate me. 😔🥺😢

I really resonate with #3, #7, #9. Number 3 I struggle with daily of others opinion on me and how I preach the gospel. Like what if I say something that contradicts what I’m talking abt. Or what if I’m not sure on an issue. Number 7 is one that has happed to me before, someone has said something to me in church that I didn’t appreciate and I didn’t say anything really. But I know now that it’s okay and I should just say what I need to say out of love. Number 9 is one I did all the time😅 when I was younger and a little now, sometimes I don’t want to do things people have asked me to do so I lie and instantly I regret it and feel embarrassed. I struggle with insecurity. I also struggle with suffering in silence. I almost ended my life this year and it took me
wanting to do that twice before I told my mom. I met my favorite person because I shared this with them!

I was expecting tips on how to be more confident in God (internal things like how to change our mindsets or hype ourselves up), but this video gave points more on how we relate with others, which in turn can help us overcome our insecurities. Can’t really emphasize enough how important it is to have good, godly relationships.

Hi guys! Can I share my testimony too? I've read a few of your comments, and I thought... just reading and internalizing them were enough. Praise God! I needed to be renewed too. I always thought I was the strong kind of a secured person that encourages many, not until a strom hit us (not literal). Those beloved people... to whom I thought I was pouring myself on turns out the same people who kept me going.But God has a greater plan! Although we have been seperated to our previous church, we learned that Jesus Christ, when at the center of everything is the strongest foundation. Sometimes relationship fails, but I trust that God will keep working in His son's and daughters, so that no matter how tough this life gets, we will all rise like eagles! No one will remain insecure! I am 18 and have so much anxiety, wherever i go i begin to overthink about what people are saying or the way i should walk or talk and i should be like this person,what if i do something wrong i will get clowned on,i should act tough infront of others and look intimidating to hide who i really am its just a whole lot
And it is taking a toll on my mental health because i know this is not what god wants me to be but im not obeying what he says i should do

I'm 16, second youngest daughter. Growing up in toxic yet loving asian household where yes.. you feel like they give me love atleast to fill the bare minimum, but the unloved feeling they fed to me is way too much.
Back then, i was am genuinely happy with other's achievements, but since my parents start comparing me to others whether it's my siblings, my friends, the neighbour's child, made me grew to be a perfectionist and i always hate myself for not be able to satisfy my parents request.
In the process, i also end up sabotage my friendships as they faded away and some leave, fortunately some also stay.
i had to bottled up my feelings, i had to hold it in, i always be one to blame and i must understand somebody conditions yet they don't care about MY conditions. And they left me out.
I'm sorry i keep yapping about myself, and if you're uncomfortable with reading this... feel free to block or report this.
I hope people out there, someday or one day... able to win against insecurity. May they realized how much their lives matter to God.

Earlier I had a dream about the judgement day...In my dream I was just sleeping until I heard a loud trumpet and the sky darkens and the stars fell fast as flash...I looked out in my window clueless but realized...I saw people using their phones to video, People panicking and closing their windows and then I heard millions of people crying and screaming...And then I looked up in the sky there was a huge cloud and a bright ray light shine and then...Everything went black for me...And then I woke up but I was still in my dream...But I ACTUALLY woke up for real my heart was racing so does my mind...

my biggest insecurity has always been worrying about what others think of me. personally, ive had many people assume im gay. mainly because ive always had more female friends than guy friends. i have my share of guy friends who i value highly but there are times when id rather
be talking to a female friend. ive never been insecure about my manliness until now. ive always been into sports, not so much the best athlete myself but i love talking about them, and stuff like video games and legos/cars. stuff like that. but ive never been the type to sexualize women, watch porn, or even act inappropriately with my friends as a joke. so even when people assumed i was “that”, it didnt bother me because i was confident in who i was. ive always been lukewarm so i cant even say it was because i was deeply rooted in Christ, i just never let it get to me. until now, im a junior in high school and i see so much ungodliness around me everyday. over the summer i broke up with my girlfriend because i let overthinking and insecurity get the best of me. at first i was insecure because i was scared id end up hurting her, which that mindset eventually led to me doing so. somehow some way, that insecurity turned into “what if everything people have thought about me was true?” and once that thought popped in my head, its been a constant battle to get that thought out of my head. since i had the thought ive tried my hardest to turn to Christ hoping maybe if i gave him every second i could dedicate to him i would be cleared of that intrusive thought. i dont want to give up but i still go about my days in fear that it might be true. i just feel like i cant even have fun anymore without overthinking it. it makes me feel horrible because ive never thought like this and ive never wanted to. i pray every night but im still scared. please please please pray for me if youre reading this. im not giving up, but its hard when i see this ungodliness everywhere i go and it reminds me. im sorry for the long read but if you see this i really appreciate you🙏🏼
