This reminds me, in the past two weeks, my boyfriend and I have been dedicating our workouts to Jesus. We pray for his strength to push us through every rep and set, telling him that we’re working on giving his Holy Spirit a proper temple to dwell in.

The muffin analogy just completely gave me a revelation on what I was doubting on faith and christianity. The difference beyween a lukewarm christian and one that is not, is holyness. A true christian is trying to be, with all their might to be different. To be holy. To be set apart from the world.
I feel like I don't truly appreciate Gods gift. Sometimes I felt like it was because I didn't truly accept it yet or missed something. And sometimes I just think I'm not an emotional or theatrical person. I want to be genuine for God but I feel like I'm not sometimes.

Being bipolar I have a lot of intrusive thoughts that tell me I’m not saved, that everything I do as a Christian is just an act. It’s not easy to worship with thoughts like that, but I remind myself that God doesn’t expect us to be emotional or theatrical in our praise. My worship is very silent, usually just singing worship songs in my car as I drive to and from wherever I need to go.
I don't think it's possible for any of us to fully appreciate God's gift, but that doesn't mean we're not saved. We're saved by God's grace in Christ Jesus, through faith (aka believing and *trusting* in God), not through complete understanding of how great God's gift is. Understanding is good, but it isn't the same as faith.

This is very destructive and leads nowhere. Everyone has a special relationship towards God, and you cannot improve that relationship by comparing it with others. Grow with God. Thank you for demonstrating what it's like to give something to God. I grew up in a religious household and my parents' idea of giving something to God was instead of doing what you want, read the bible in silence instead. As a teenager i hated this, and it nearly caused a rift in the family and between myself and the church. But God kept with me through my trials and lessons.

Yet again I find exactly the video that I needed to see, praise God! This video inspired me to become more holy, closer to God. I'll start at home, where I live with my parents. First getting closer to God, who I believe saved me and cares about me, becoming more holy with His help. As a 13yr, it is actually so much stress for me because i want to be apart of god but im struggling because i feel nothing when i try to speak to him/pray, and i WANT to feel something but i just cant. what helped me was to go to a place in my house that was closed off from other people, get down on my knees and speak out loud all of my deep problems to god and tell him how your feeling deep down and that you want him to save you. another thing is getting into the bible and trying to read it almost everyday. the real way to get over sin is to get closer to god and love all the things he loves, if you do that you’ll start to hate all the things he hates.
i’m 14 and i started to do this last year. Then, I felt empty and felt like I had a big void in my heart. talking to god everyday, from the heart, and just random parts of the day and reading the bible more helped me to fill that void and understand god more.

Instead I strive to be perfect and holy as he commands me to be even in this life.

I used to sin and I told god to forgive my sins and I felt like god is with me i use a sleep prayer last night and hearing the words of god while closing my eyes and going to sleep and i also go to church fridays Saturdays Sunday’s and Tuesdays and i had flu and i had to take disgusting medicine and i prayed to god to heal me and I’m feeling a little good coughing a little bit so god did heal me Amen 🙏🏼

A lady once stopped me as i working and asked do i know or love God and i said yes. But i remember her face was almost glowing and like a warmth. She followed up with do you go to church and i said currently no but I use to. She replied with you should come back to church and left. Sometime passed and i bought a bible and recently ive come back to church but mostly important ive finally given it all to Jesus, salvation comes through Jesus and im forever changed. No longer do i desire the things i once of the flesh i use to desire.

As a 13yr, it is actually so much stress for me because i want to be apart of god but im struggling because i feel nothing when i try to speak to him/pray, and i WANT to feel something but i just cant. I dont go to church and i suffer with lust everyday. I watch these videos in hope for help. Im still nice to people and dont like curse them out and i show love but i have a cursing problem and its just so much and i just dont feel anything! Im starting to doubt my faith and i dont have anyone to pray for me or anything. Someone please help me with my struggling faith. I am unholy.
Hey, of course ai will pray for you and of course YOU are unholy. Jesus is the one who makes you holy through his blood. And we get to heaven only by faith (romans 3, 28; ephesians 2,8-9). what helped me was to go to a place in my house that was closed off from other people, get down on my knees and speak out loud all of my deep problems to god and tell him how your feeling deep down and that you want him to save you. another thing is getting into the bible and trying to read it almost everyday. the real way to get over sin is to get closer to god and love all the things he loves, if you do that you’ll start to hate all the things he hates.

i’m 14 and i started to do this last year. Then, I felt empty and felt like I had a big void in my heart. talking to god everyday, from the heart, and just random parts of the day and reading the bible more helped me to fill that void and understand god more.

I've learned to serve God in spirit and truth with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength.
The wrath of God would be against me if I said I served him in hypocrisy and still did evil and sinful things like fornicate, lie, cheat, steal, coveting, slander, murder, murmur, envy and all such things which I said before all who do those thing will not have peace and joy neither will inherit the kingdom of God.
Instead I strive to be perfect and holy as he commands me to be even in this life.

I used to sin and I told god to forgive my sins and I felt like god is with me i use a sleep prayer last night and hearing the words of god while closing my eyes and going to sleep and i also go to church fridays Saturdays Sunday’s and Tuesdays and i had flu and i had to take disgusting medicine and i prayed to god to heal me and I’m feeling a little good coughing a little bit so god did heal me Amen 🙏🏼

A lady once stopped me as i working and asked do i know or love God and i said yes.
But i remember her face was almost glowing and like a warmth.
She followed up with do you go to church and i said currently no but I use to.
She replied with you should come back to church and left.
Sometime passed and i bought a bible and recently ive come back to church but mostly important ive finally given it all to Jesus, salvation comes through Jesus and im forever changed.
No longer do i desire the things i once of the flesh i use to desire.
