U r the first leader that I knew that his plan for reading the bible is useful and effective. To be honest, at first, I felt overwhelmed, however, I am sure in the name of Jesus, I can do it. God bless everyone who did this video to save souls from the wrong way. Especially at the end of the days, there will be a great delusion, so we have to know god and be ready for the 2nd come of Jesus Christ!❤❤❤️

when you start learning to drive a car, the mind goes through the process one step at a time. but over time, everything becomes automatic. the same is true when reading the Bible. we believe the Bible should be learned for ourselves and so that we can help others learn. if you dont know many leaders that teach this way to read the Bible, i would please encourage you to teach this as well. Gods word is a strength that people everywhere can learn from and be encouraged in. God bless you too :)

@@ImpactVideoMinistriesThank you for the nice guide, its helpful. I've got a question regarding the TACT in Obersavtion. Do you apply this on every sentence in a chapter or only on important sentences? Ive tried to do it on narrative texts in the bible. I didnt get out much of it, what is the purpose of it? I'm trying to understand the purpose, so I can apply it as well :)

Thank you for all that you do, I am a teenager in a family that isn't very religious so I've never had much guidance when it comes to how to read and understand the bible, but this channel and many others has helped me out so much! God bless you all and no worries about the advanced video taking awhile, it's gonna take me and many others a long time to be an advanced reader but I am exited for when I can call myself advanced.

Can I feel the tension in the air? Oh heck yes I can. I sob reading the Exodus story every time. Bawl like a little baby. I am very blessed to be able to see and visualize exactly what I am reading and be able to empathize with a story. I can connect with written words well. My ancestors were at that sea crossing, and maybe it's in my DNA somewhere, or maybe it's just God showing me what it was like, but it is so so powerful... I really think it's just God's way of showing me what He wants me to see. I see and feel sorrow for all involved. Pharaoh, the Egyptians, and the children of Israel. They all suffered such loss, pain, and hardness of heart. They all were utilized to show the world God's wonders. What a place to hold in history... We are so fortunate we live now and can see and learn from their experiences.

Though I must admit sometimes it’s hard in the end of Exodus, Judges Kings Numbers are hard to read, even for advanced reader. Because it tends to get a little repetitive, of people who begat this person. The length and of the weights of each thing of the Ark and the building of the Temple of Solomons temple. Though I read the KJV version, I had to research how much a cubit ( about an arm and a half) to a furlong (a 1000 yards) and their importance of it. But the imagination of what is happening is basically used by almost any type of book you read. In today’s education system, this is an incredibly useful tool. Thanks for teaching

This is the level of info that I had finally pieced together for myself back in 2021, and yet I was still overwhelmed with incorporating it all on a regular basis - until today. I think I finally have a way to do that so I can stay organized but open to whatever way the Holy Spirit leads. Your videos helped with that today. Thanks so much for doing these. However, you have ANOTHER one after this? This one is already ocean diving. So your next one I'm very curious to see!

Thank you so much, Joseph! Your beginner level has helped me through some hard verses, chapters, or even books of the Bible I avoided because I found them hard. Because of you, literally every page from 1 Samuel all the way to 2 Kings has notes and stick notes pilled upon more stick notes. It's going to take time to get to this reading level, but this has helped unlock a new understanding of God's Word and what He's telling me. Thank you so so much!

I've been diving into the Word so much lately-it’s like I’m thirsting for it and can’t get enough. Even though I feel I’ve developed some structure in my reading, I still struggle with truly retaining Scripture and especially with memorization. Honestly, I think my biggest challenge is myself. Saying this out loud probably doesn’t help; I know I need to speak more positively.
I really love your approach to learning the Word and how you make it relatable. I’m definitely planning to pick up some of the books you’ve recommended. When it comes to resources, I feel blessed to have three-actually, four-fantastic study Bibles, but I keep jumping between them. I can’t seem to stick with one, and this is where I’d love your advice.
    I currently have:
    The Charles Spurgeon Study Bible
    The MacArthur Study Bible
The Tony Evans Study Bible, along with Tony Evans’ commentary (which I absolutely love because he has a way of simplifying things while still speaking God’s truth).
Now, my goal is to really know the Word-not just for myself, but to teach it. For the next 10 years (and beyond), I’m dedicating every single day to being in the Word. Whether it’s in the morning, afternoon, or even during work breaks, I want to focus on quality over quantity and really let the Word take root in my heart.
If you have foundational advice or recommendations for someone starting from the basics but with a deep hunger to grow, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your love of the Word and all that you do. I’m praying for you and your family to continue loving God and walking in truth.
    Your friend in Christ,
    Robert Burnett

A pattern we see throughout all the Bible is when people know right and wrong but they pick wrong.Adam and Eve. Cain and Able. Abraham passing Sarah as his sister. Isaac passing Rebekah as his sister.Samson and the Philistine. as you see we make the same mistakes over and over and over again. This is why Jesus had to die on the cross for us. So we can break out of this cycle. God bless you brothers and sisters.❤ may God bless you.

Thanks for this. Also, let's remember the difference between a false teacher and a bad teacher. False ones decieve you on purpose, bad ones think they're teaching you correctly. Bad teachers have fallen into the trap most of us fall into, wanting to be right and picking only the facts that align with your feelings, ignoring the ones that go against your basic beliefs, even subconsciously. Hey! I’m very new in my faith (got saved on april 4th 2024) and i watched the beginner study bible video and it really helped but i studied 2 hours per day with reading bible commentaries and noting almost every single thing and it exhausted me at one point. Now i came back and i really needed an answer to my question:”should i use commentaries?” and i found it in this video. Do you think I should re-read all 12 Matthew chapters that i’ve read so far or i should just keep going?(i honestly don’t know what to do..😢)
Thank you so much for what you do. I love your videos and they really save me. I pray that you may be blessed in all areas of your life.❤️

just keep reading! dont go back through matthew. learn to have light studies, medium studies, and heavy studies. for me personally, i do "warm-up" reading, where I just read 1 chapter. and once im done with that, ill go for my walk, and then ill dive in deeper and take some notes in my study bible. studying the bible is something you develop over time. the key is to read consistently. try to go heavy, but when time doesnt allow due to life, do a lighter study. hope this helps :)

In the video, he said commentaries should be read when you lack understanding. Before reading commentaries, he said to read the passage by yourself first, pray to God for wisdom and understanding and to try to read at least 2 different translations. Just know that you don't NEED to read the commentaries when reading the bible because you have the Holy Spirits guidance, and the Holy Spirit has the power to teach. It's not a requirement. Commentaries are a good teaching resource to gain a greater understanding which is still by the power of the Holy Spirit. Also try asking God and your pastor for a better opinion.

It’s also good to receive revelation from the Holy Spirit as you are reading. Some translations omit scripture while some others add things that were not intended. The last passage of Revelation contains warnings regarding this. The Holy Spirit reveals truth as you are reading. Passages can jump out at you with God’s answer to questions you ask Him in prayer. It’s uncanny many times how He answers exactly!

Every study bible inserts the doctrine and theology of the commentator. So those comments will vary greatly and will contradict commentaries from other study bibles based on what denomination they belong to. So many study bibles may actually lead people into false doctrine, a false gospel, and a counterfeit Christ.

@@TrustinJC yes this is true, this is why we need to focus on what the word says and when we need help look into MANY comments and observations. It’s also important to be in a Bible study group because we can talk with one another and see what we all understood and see if it’s all generally the same understanding. And of course above everything else, when we’re studying we NEED to ask God for wisdom and clarity.

I have one question about the interpretation stage. Are we not meant to look at the meaning behind the passage not the literal words. The word "trinity" is not in the bible however it's inferred using evidence from scripture. Also taking books like genesis and revelations completely literally seems a bit silly.
In John 3:16 you can personalise it to say god loves you because it says "for god so loved the world" and you are part of that world. Same with the passage in Philippians because Paul is writing to fellow believers. They're useful lessons we can use in our lives just as it was to the phillipians.
I don't believe you're necessarily adding or subtracting from scripture in these instances you're simply inferring a revelation based on scriptural evidence. Also doesn't god give different people different interpretations based on what God knows they need to hear? Isn't that the point of "personal revelation"?
I write this looking to purely learn and be corrected if I'm wrong. You've been a big part of my walk and god has used your videos to teach me a lot especially about how I should read my bible. Cheers and much love from Australia. 😊

I've started reading Genesis before watching this, and at the moment I'm on chapter 33 and was wondering if I should jump to book John or is it ok that I continue Genesis or should I just go to John now.

Simply read through Genesis in the morning, and in the afternoons read through John. That way, you can read both at the same time-it's fun!!!

am I suppose to think about REPPPZ, SPECTRUM, the five w’s during reading the Bible because I can I can basically read and find subjects adverbs adjectives and others. But I can’t think about SPECTRUM while reading. I just can’t. So I just want to clarify, do I try to think about these things while reading?

    • @ImpactVideoMinistries
      @ImpactVideoMinistries  3 місяці тому +1

i dont think REPPPZ, TACT, or 5 Ws. like you said, you reach a place where you naturally find them. SPECTRUM can come the same way. i recommend you writing down the acronym and what every letter represents, and keeping it mind as you read. soon things will start popping out. and youll think "oh, there's a sin, i should avoid that." or "that guys a good example to follow". the acronyms are just meant to help you. and you get to a place where you grow out of them. i dont think of those acronyms. i developed those to help people remember all the different observations you can make. hope this helps! :)

    • @cynthiachinenyewa

Amen feeding the spirit! But also know that the amount of time reading isn't as important as making observations and finding out how to apply those things to your life. In other words, focus on what you're getting out of reading the bible and what God might be trying to tell you not how long you're reading. I was just saying in case you didn't know not trying to downplay your achievement and I'm not saying reading the bible for a long time is bad because after all, longer reads mean more observations and interpretations to make. Quality over quantity though.

Use NIV and NLT as a reference to get better understanding of the KJV or NKJV so it’s okay to read from those , but do not study those versions, you should be studying the KJV or NKJV. Those translation have not omitted or added anything thing extra.

    Okay brother,
I respect you for this teaching, but the way you said it about the things that that Paul wrote, i do believe that the Bible came here for a reason thats why its in there, so it feels like more oh dont worry this isn't for you, but i do believe that this is a message for us. Because God works trough people, and God wants us also to live to it, so i dont believe like Oh this is only for the Philippians to Bible came for a very real reason and i believe this is also a message for us because we are not any better like them, we also need to put our faith in him to not be anxious, so brother really i do respect your teaching but i do believe we need to live to it to get in faith out of it.

    • @cynthiachinenyewa
      @cynthiachinenyewa 4 місяці тому

Impact ministries was saying that the literal meaning of the passage doesn't have anything to do with us because Paul wasn't talking to us directly. He did say that we should still apply these things to our lives. The thing God is trying to tell you, isn't necessarily the same thing as the meaning. When Paul wrote a letter to the Philippians, he didn't MEAN to write to anyone but the Philippians.

    When a man says I believe he's actually saying I don't know I presume I think I imagine.
You use words you have no understanding the meaning or root of, the main one being god it's an old English word derived from the 6th century proto Germanic word gudan meaning to invoke to call upon a Higher Power.
The word power is El Elohim the plural El Elyon most High power. You turn an incantation into a persona, from the Greek meaning an actor playing a role, an imposter pretending to be something they are not.
Ehyeh aser Ehyeh meaning I AM that I AM, I will be what I will. I am a fractal part of the El Elyon fractal energy discovered in the trans-universal void, the water in our body is of a crystalline structure that produces fractal energy, as above so below as within so without, you call upon El Elyon by invoking the El within.
Is it not written ye are little Elohim, children of the El Elyon ( most High power). The word Babylon is ancient Greek meaning the gates of God, Mesopotamia means between two rivers speaking of the Euphrates and the Tigris two of the four rivers running through the garden of Eden the other two being the Gihon and Pishon. No he offered life and life more abundantly. Zoe kai zoe mor afthona in the Greek.
