The ungrammatical copy-paste chorus put together showcases the uniqueness of John Mayer compared to other artists. It’s As The World Falls Down...it’s a rip-off, play the two songs back to back, Bowie’s version is way more complex, so it’s not obvious, but John ripped it off imo, too sly, it’s subtle, but shit I can’t unhear it, if you like Labyrinth, you’ll know John just knife raped a virgin by stealing the melody and then retarded the lyrics.

Dude this song is amazing. At first I thought the chorus was strictly John making light of the serious tone of the song. Which is cool, but after watching his Apple Music interview, he explained he basically has a loaded/possibly fabricated memory of feeling alone as a child and having to put words to it - all that’s to say the childish chorus is actually kind of deep trippy shit. This song is heavy!

But as sure as the snow will fall, eventually shits gonna rock the boat. She's the only one he can't stay angry at though, & he always takes her back, which makes her family.
