Great video as always! Excited for this new Energica! I'm hoping Zero comes out swinging later this year.

Michael L, I hope so to. This HAS to be the year that Zero finally introduces CCS or they're going to be left in the dust.

A quick update everyone: Energica has released its Experia configurator. The only extra cost option is keyless start at $397. Everything else is included in the base price. You can check out the configurator here: configurator.energicamotor.com/us/configure/experia_my2022/optional

Another great video, Bill! I'm always blown away with how professional these are. Now I think everybody is waiting for the DSR/X. If Zero puts DC charging om that, Energica will have some competition.

Thanks Sam. Fingers crossed for Zero CCS. I'm stumped as to why Zero is taking so long to get on the CCS bandwagon. I get it takes engineering & $$, but geez, I hope they don't run out of time. I can't imagine educated consumers that want to tour considering an EV motorcycle without CCS at this point. It's amazing how fast the landscape is changing (for the better!).

Still now, no test ride possible. I rode the DSR/X last saturday. I hope I can ride the Experia 2023. Latest in 2024 I want to change my SR/S to something new, better. . .

Excellent upload buddy. I REALLY like this bike and am seriously tempted, even at the £27k uk prices. I'm keeping my eyes on this one. ☺

As much as I love my Zero S, I hate the charge times. I have the charge tank but charging from 30% to 100% takes nearly 1.5 hours. I've done some touring on it and whilst doable I would love CCS. Here in the UK more and more CCS chargers are springing up. My dream bike would be an adventure style bike, not too tall, can do 150 miles, decent speed CCS charging and cost less than £20k. I may be waiting a while for that though.....

Ray, Yep, that's why Zero MUST add CCS charging. Your point about more CCS stations popping up is true here in the U.S. as well. Energica's new Experia is darn close to your dream bike's specs - and even pricing - at least here in the U.S.

@@EVRider Yeah, the Experia is pretty close apart from just two minor things. #1 - Its £27,790 here in the UK (equivalent to $34,109 USD). I've not even spent that much on a brand new car before, let alone a motorbike! #2 - The seat height is 847mm which rules the bike out for a lot of the more vertically challenged riders. I have lowered 2 out of my last 3 bikes (Zero S & Tiger 800), the other was a factory low BMW F650GS with the low seat. So I think that I will be waiting a few more years yet....

Wait until something breaks and you have to deal with their customer service or get parts, slow charging is nothing once you have to pick up the phone and call them.

    Wonderful review! 👍🏻
I can‘t wait for Zero to announce the DSR/X in September. 🙂

Thanks. And just an fyi, that the next-gen DSR is an assumption on my part, based on Zero's past moves. I do not have any confirmation if/when that will happen, but I think it's a pretty safe bet at this point.

So sad that Australia's poor distribution of charging points means that this fantastic Motorbike would be stranded between points.
