I remember that when I was young, almost every village had a 1-pump petrol station, either attached to a pub or a shop. I think that needs to make a comeback with electrical charge points.
Would love to see that. Just have to get quick charge up to a couple minutes for full charge and it could be!

I remember that too, and it’s going to have to be something like that, with a lot of refuelling done at home, at present there is nowhere near enough electricity available, we need to make massive infrastructure changes that will cost 100’s of billions and take decades.
It will. Plus you'll get charge sockets on lampposts wherever there's street parking, and car parks will have one for each bay because if everyone's got an EV, then it'll be a money spinner. The panic about charging infrastructure is entirely manufactured. Such an easy fix.
@@mattnicholas9842 It absolutely will not cost that much and it absolutely will not take decades. This stuff is way less complicated than the fossil fuel supply chain. Every building in the country already has a power connection. We just build a little more on top of existing infrastructure. And given how much it'll save the country on oil imports, the investments will pay for themselves many times over. It'd be financial madness NOT to do it.
Life long Harley rider here, recently took a Pan American and a Livewire out for a test ride after a couple of more traditional Harleys. Blown away! Livewire incredible acceleration, Pan American incredible handling ! If I could have an electric adventure bike, my life is gonna change ! Experia here I come!
I'm 53 now and will be 63 by the time they ban petrol bikes and cars, there will be enough 2nd hand bikes with engines that go vroom to see me to my grave so I have no intention of ever riding an electric bike. If I did this one does look very much like the type I would go for. Fantastic review and video as always TeapotOne, thank you.
I took an Experia for a brief test ride and immediately was truly impressed. I’m now renting one soon for a weekend to further explore all its features. Great review, unlike some other reviews, it’s refreshing to hear you highlight the lack of charging infrastructure rather than blame the bike.

I'm honestly very impressed with this bike, and I would probably consider one, had it been around £12-15k and not nearly double that, maybe one day the prices will drop enough, maybe by then the range will be twice as good too
A lot of us are buying this bike in our business .. so basically it ll cost you half ! .. remember goverment wants you electric ..
There are no equal bikes specs for that money.
A Mulitistrada V4S ain't much cheaper, all bikes seem to have gone up in price considerably in recent years, when you take into account the running and maintenance costs it's not that far out of the ball park. I don't expect prices to drop very much being that the battery is the lions share of the cost, demand for lithium is rocketing. There aren't any radical battery technologies that can be mass produced on the horizon, double the range ?, not in the next ten years, maybe never. I think we need to wait another 2 or 3 years to see what Ducati, BMW and the Japanese 4 bring to market, we live in interesting times. I'd have one of these for my 60-90 mile a day commute like a shot, There is a free charger in my work car park, for the moment free fuel, zero road tax and low cost easy maintenance makes quite a compelling case.

I'm looking forward to getting an Esperia myself, over here in Canberra. I made my own electric motorbike but I can't beat the battery size and features of a top quality manufacturer!
These are getting there, but I would still need at least 200 mile motorway range and 15 minutes max for 80% charging on a reliable network. That would probably be around 160-70 miles for 80% charge, which is a far more realistic exchange for our current bikes.
Still not sure electric bikes via batteries are the way to go. Hydrogen fuel cell or even Hydrogen/synthetic fuel is the more realistic way to go for motorbikes, as those can replicate what we have today.

Hydrogen fuel cells are an absolute no go for bikes. The power to weight ratio of the system, combined with the horrendous inefficiencies of the energy to motion conversion process, mean these systems are best suited to extremely large vehicles, such as ships.
As for synthetic fuels, I don't see them working out as economical either. Even if you leave aside the pollution problem (these systems put out just as much cancer/disease causing pollution as a standard fossil fuel engine), they're so much more expensive to produce and distribute than electricity. You have to use electrolysis to produce the fuels, so you immediately lose a whole bunch of energy to wastage, and then you have to distribute the liquid fuel around in pipelines and tankers. Much more efficient to use that electricity for charging BEVs instead, and it can be distributed around the nation using wires much more quickly.
The distribution network for fuel relies on ubiquitous demand. Give it ten years, when all new cars are battery EVs, and the demand for fuel is dropping significantly, you'll see filling stations going out of business. Whilst it is theoretically possible that access to fuels will remain legal, the price is going to be very high because the volume demand isn't there anymore, and the distribution system won't be nearly as comprehensive.
The issue with BEVs right now is simply the cost. You could make a 300 mile range motorcycle now but it would cost £50k, and everyone knows there's no market for that. As more capacity comes on stream, the price of cells will continue to fall, and you'll be able to get a bike like this for cheaper than its ICE equivalent, because when batteries are being produced in such volumes as to service a global passenger vehicle market of 100 million units per year, the cost of a battery for a motorcycle will be far lower than the cost of an engine.
It's just a matter of time. What we want right now is brands like Energica mastering things like weight distribution, handling, brakes, suspension, so that when batteries' cost achieves price parity and then falls below ICE, we'll get a flood of models on the market that retain the engineering heritage that has given us a great riding experience.
No man electric doesnt have to mimmic what you are used .. .. commuting is hardly over 100mile a day .. and easy cheap charging at home ... i m in !!! Very low maintanance .. and through my company half price ...

Great review, watched it twice now. One of the few open minded reviews about the Energica/electric bikes in general I've watched until now. An adventure version of this Energica is coming according to an interview by Motociclismo, hopefully it will fit my 198 cm. I think i won't replace my 1250 GS by the upcoming 1300 GS. I will go electric, price overhere in the Netherlands will be about the same and the charging infra overhere is good.

I am sure early adopters of ICE vehicles had similar and maybe even more infrastructure challenges. Not ready to commit to an electric motorbike but suspect one will be in my garage before they take my keys away. Excellent review!
Perhaps charging stations should have sleeping pods,deck chairs,swimming pool,cafe,cinema and toilets. You would look forward to charging you blke. Most of the replies say the same thing and i agree with them. Electric was never the way forward-just an easy option to keep people quiet for a while. When the time comes that we have to change there will be other options out there. Every one ride safely Micky
Anybody who ever ever watched a ytub vid .... they know waisting 40 min is nothing :-)... and easy overnight charging at home or campsite doesnt sound like a hassle
Makes me wonder if the energy a person uses sat watching the cinema or phone charging,lighting, drinking coffee etc and all the power consumed sat waiting around should be included in the power consumption figures. Petrol users just mainly fill up and go using minimal power consumption.

Thank you for your honest review. Switching to electric also requires a different approach to your trip or longer journey. And that's the biggest change. Same as in a car. I now have a GS and will definitely make the switch one day. starting with a test drive - ;). Range and price will improve when more people are making the transfer to electric, I hope.

I used to think price would come down as more people moved over, but I just don’t think that’s the case now.
As demand and components prices increase, the overall cost will only ever go up sadly - same with almost everything nowadays.
Range will improve, but not in the staggering leaps we hope for. The latest few years has seen much smaller increases in technology in EV’s, so until there are big developments there I don’t see range doubling for example.
It’s all about people changing their mindset to how they travel, as you rightly say.
I don’t think this is something we need to worry about too much in the biking world… yet, but for sure in private cars.
On the range you say it will easily get 100 miles - thats fine by me and I could use that to do pretty much anything.
The problem is the charge times or rather how it forces you to charge. If you can only charge quickly over 60% of the battery that means you've only really got 60% of the range usable after the first stop and only 80% from home.
So it would be 80 miles, charge for half an hour, 60 miles, charge for half an hour and repeat - presuming chargers are just in the right places, available and working.
For a tourer that completely blows it out of the water because you would literally be (quite a lot) better off touring on a Vmax with its thimble tank an terrible mpg.
Even if we're kind and say that 20-80% only took 20mins (never had that on my old Energica - 30mins+ depending on weather) and with all the caveats about chargers, that would add close to an hour and a half to a 300 mile trip. Add in the detours to actually get to the chargers and not only does that time increase but your overall mileage does to which only compounds the problem.
I really like the bike though. The seat looks great, I like the handlebar design, the overall look and it sounds like its great to ride. Bike wise about the only thing I would want is larger numbers on the speedo but I presume they will sort that out with software.
Used for what its good at - commuting, the odd short blast and so on - this will be a banging bike. As a tourer though? Save yourself £20k and buy an NC or something.

@@teapotone I think you'll enjoy it so long as you take it for what it is. If you can plan some decent places to stop and aren't in a hurry electrics aren't so bad. The problems come when you want to go long distances in a decent time but if you're doing a feet-up and relax type ride with plenty of spare time they aren't bad.
I wonder how many bike museums there are or similar things? Things like that are perfect for electrics because you are going to spend an hour in there anyway so if you plan your ride around things like that all should be well.
Having been around the world and knowing how to deal with it won't hurt, either.
I can't help thinking how much less stress it would be on my old RT though.
I don't understand your claim about only charging quickly over 60%? That is not how it works, the bike recharges the entire battery in about an hour. Roughly 80% in 40 minutes (the fastest part of the charging). We own two Ribelles and we often just plan a lunch stop for recharging (2-3 hours riding before lunch, 1 hour charging while we have lunch, and 2-3 hours riding back home).
Yeah I think maybe Si has the wrong end of the stick there regarding quick charging over 60%.
All Electric vehicles get the quickest charge between 20-80%, the last 20% and particularly the last 10% are what take the significant time as the system balances the battery and all the ‘magic stuff’ 🤷♂️ (it’s beyond me, I don’t understand it, I just know this last bit takes the longest).
This is why manufacturers always tout their recharge times for 20-80% as it’s the quickest - but it’s also the best way to ride and electric bike. If you keep the battery between 20-80%, then you can just give it a quick charge whenever you stop near a charger and that will top the battery off for your days ride. When you get home you plug it into an AC charge (via your homes 3-pin plug) and this will balance everything out in the battery and keep it operating at an optimum level.
You can’t continually charge via DC as it will reduce power output down to around 75% before levelling off - I believe they recommend every 4-6 charges is done via AC to balance the systems.
@@teapotone Just to clear this up I meant 20%-80% is 60% of the battery. So its only charging quickly over 60% of its capacity - not above 60% charge state.
I really like that new charge port location. You can leave your gear strapped on the seat, unlike the other energica where you have to lift the seat.

great vid bruce. electric bikes have seriously come along in such a short period of time. I agree with you about the charging stations. they seriously need to be improved. without them working correctly. it will never work, could you imagine a service station with only one working charger.
Most electric riders charge evenings at home or fast onroad at gas station .. in holland no problem

This notion of "the infrastructure" being in place...presumably you are familiar with electricity being available in every home and business throughout the country? You can do overnight charging anywhere with a three pin plug, and fast charging with a box that costs no more than £200 to install, and which blanket the country already - download zap map for your phone and see for yourself. It's a myth that the infrastructure isn't already there.

Some depend on having the correct plug.
@@grumpsrides6074 That's not really a thing... the EU standard is everywhere. In Europe is not like USA, where everyone except Tesla use the same connector (but still has the biggest infrastructure).
There are a very few cases of cars who have the Asian standard (CHAdeMO), but they are not sold anymore, and basically every charge point has at least the Type 2 or CCS.
In practice: if there is a charge point, you can charge.
@@grumpsrides6074 As has been pointed out to you Grumps, and as I said myself if you'd read my comment properly, there are fast charging boxes everywhere throughout the UK. I myself have ridden all over Northern Ireland, and also from Birkenhead through the Pennines to Sheffield, and from Norwich through the Midlands back to Birkenhead. I charged in lots of different places, often for free. Any Lidl car park has them. You seem to have done some research about the situation in 2014 and not updated your information. Everywhere uses CCS now.

Nice review, I really like the looks. Regarding resistance, the only thing I’d say is, not everyone has to like them surely? We all like what we like. I’m afraid there’s no way that thing will ever stir my soul the way my 2021 Tuono 1100 does.
That said, as a second bike (if I could afford it) - definitely.

Over here in good old Ireland with VAT and VRT it will probably come in for around €30k. Even at €25k that's some chuck of change, That's a fully loaded GS money.
Aye the money is crazy, but sadly I don’t see them getting much cheaper tbh - the cost of everything is going through the roof and will never return to what we’ve been used to up to now 🤷♂️
It’s going to be about making them affordable for people through things like HP and the like, same as the big expensive petrol bikes.
But like I say in the vid, I genuinely don’t see bikes switching over to electric wholesale likes cars are…

Excellent vid as per usual. I'd definitely consider one but I think I speak for everyone when I say, "How Much"!
But from what you say in your review, it need a Parking like the Honda's with DCT.
It has got slow speed reverse and forward for parking.
I really like this bike and would love one for touring. CCS charging is the way ahead. Just two stumbling blocks for me though. First is the price obviously. If it was a smidge under £20k then I could justify it to myself. The other one is the seat height. Where are the bikes for shorter people? I currently ride a Zero S and had that lowered by 25mm. I’ve also had factory lowered F650GS’s in the past which were great; having an option from the factory makes things so much better. I have toured on my Zero but level 2 charging just takes the fun out of it. Ride 80 miles or so, then charge for an hour and a half before continuing. It could do 100 miles but you always need to leave some wiggle room in case the charger is broken or busy. Plus the last 20% goes a lot quicker than you expect. These days it is not range anxiety that is an issue, but charger anxiety. Then you get the muppets in ICE cars parking in EV charging bays. I politely mentioned this to a white van man the other week and got a mouthful of abuse. I am toying with the idea of getting a VStrom 650, CB500X or a RE Himalayan to do some proper touring and leave the electric for local blasts and commuting but I’d rather have one bike that does everything.
I'm in a similar situation to you Ray; even with 2 diginow fast chargers in my Zero DSR's tank, it still takes 50 mins or so to go from 20-80 on a road trip. I'm in New Zealand and the number of chargers around is roughly keeping up with the number of EVS, so infrastructure isn't a real problem here. But that price?! Maybe there'll be a few secondhand ones kicking around in a couple of year's time? My only reservation with Energicas compared to the Zeros is chain and gearbox maintenance and noise; I would really miss how quiet and smooth the belt drive is on the Zero, and a huge advantage to EVs for me is no maintenance, so that's a real negative for me. Also, I wonder about the longevity of the brand now they've been bought by Ideanomics; will things get less premium, will Energica's design and ingenuity be stifled, and judging by the massive deflation of their share price, will they become yet another EV maker who goes bust because it's incredibly hard to mass produce EVs and make a profit? I hope not as they're amazing bikes. Enjoy your Zero mate!

It’s going to be a question of making them affordable via HP etc, same as most big bikes these days.
For me it’s the infrastructure, I just don’t think any real practical thought is going into it these days to accommodate the huge numbers of cars that are due to switch over to electric within the next decade. Chargers aren’t maintained generally and when you do find one it’s often occupied. How will this work out when most cars are electric?
I genuinely don’t see bikes going electric across the board, there will be a lot more of them, but I think petrol will remain the majority, certainly for my lifetime at least 🤷♂️

@@teapotone I believe that the secret to reasonably priced eMotos is mass production, and that won't happen until governments properly push the big bike makers to switch to electric. By then the biggest current limiter to producing profitable EVs (battery availability) will most probably have been cracked. I think 10 years will do it. Ducati taking over from Energica as the bike supplier for the MotoE race series is a positive step.
All electricbikes should have the throttle of the vectrix scooter .. it has the reverse capabillity .. which means you let it go and your bike just keeps coasting . But you can reverse twist it and it will motobrake or reverse .. its the best and feels extremely logic .
Imagine going on tour with a couple of friends who also have electric bikes, 3 x 40 minute charges is a long time every 140 miles! Infastructure needs to be massively improved, then this might work for your Sunday blast, but touring????
I have toured on a Zero DSR, around Ireland and Scotland. With DC rapid charging it is 20 to 30 minutes. And there are more and more multiple charger stations on motorways.
Interesting, If this bike has a realistic 130 mile range then that's about the miles I covered on Saturday on a 7 hour ride around the peak district following a navigation app set to winding roads, the speeds were low (which really suits electric power) as some of the roads were little more than cart tracks with stunning views between Wakefield and Holmfirth... This bike would have done it with no charge stops.
Just had a test ride on the Energica Esse Esse9 today, I really enjoyed the instant acceleration and can't get it out of my head, although I could feel the weight on rough corners it was a fun bike... This Experia seems to be much closer to what I want, more range and a more comfortable riding position... Now if only I could pull £27K together (realistically I need a house of my own first and then a car that's not a 15 year old Citroen scrapyard dodger, but it's fun to dream).

Interesting that the range realistically will probably be 130 miles or so. About the same as some sports bikes ( just saying ). I think the infrastructure will be a huge problem in this country. From out of service charge points to overly complicated payment methods. Why they all can't be contactless payment I'll never know. Great looking bike all the same. Top work Bruce
While most charging stations do have a relatively easy charging process, mainly the popular ones, they can be a headache. I think the issue is a lack of standardization. Here in the US, we have Tesla plugs, CCS, J1772 and Chademo - and that's not even counting the different handshakes these stations have to go through for each vehicle. A petrol nozzle doesn't know whether it's in a Toyota or a BMW - these charging stations have to go through a longer step process to deliver the right amount of electricity. Until these plugs and voltages become standard, I think we'll continue to see awkward charging steps.

A Ducati Multistrada V4 is £16,795. With the price difference you can get enough fuel for about 50.000 miles. And i know which one will be the more exciting drive.
I think as long as the price is not even comparable to gas motorcycles, electric will just be used in commuting.
Trouble is, as has just been pointed out to me after this vid, from 2035 there won’t be any more petrol bikes - so this IS coming our way wether we like it or not sadly

I'd love to try a good quality electric bike but in Australia we cannot get any Zero's, energica's or the like. That price for this bike would be close to 40k here. Just not viable. I'd rather see cheaper but quality fun or commuter bikes to add to my petrol bike collection. Don't mind that they are the future, they just need to be better priced.

Good luck on your around Britain trip Bruce, will be a good test 👍 I still don't understand why electric bikes can't have 2 gears, the higher one for faster sections - spinning a motor ever faster can't be as efficient.
FYI All Energicas have gears. This is unusual for eMotos but many car EVs have gearboxes too.
Just a tip on using the voice navigation Bruce, it works better if when saying thankyou add "Love" or " Darlin'" on the end i.e. "Thanks, I will turn right Love.." 🤣😂👍 Another good review, but it's not so much the range that makes electric bikes a no-no for me it is the price. Until the price comes down to those of ICE bikes I won't be able to afford to go electric. As The UK Government has now stated that sales of new ICE bikes will end by 2040 I'll be buying a new ICE in about 2035 and hope the manufacturers produce enough spares to keep me going for 20-30 years (af if the Petrol lasts).
Here's a question for you Bruce: if/when electric bikes become common, do you think they'll forever stick with the motorcycle control layout (i.e. front brake at the right hand, rear brake at the right foot) or will they at some point move to the scooter layout (front brake also at right hand but rear brake at left hand)?
It makes a lot of sense to me that they'll change, since the current layout is rather strange except that it's to make petrol riders more at home.

I think they will change. I would certainly prefer it. I'm very used to the usual layout but its only that way as a compromise for the clutch lever really.

I see no reason other than to appease the knuckle draggers why the DCT bikes don't have a hand rear brake.
Foot controls never really made sense - its just that with a lot of things to control you run out of digits and need something else to make the numbers up.
I have a bike with drum brakes front and rear. I can't imagine that rear drum with a cable on it ! It's bad enough with a heavy foot and a steel bar operating it. Maybe that's where it all started with being foot operated.
@@chrishart8548 When I started riding that was the norm. Discs were only for the techy stuff. The only advantages with the bar/rod arrangments were ease of production and longevity over cables. If you want more mechanical advantage that just means changing where the holes are drilled and how long the rods are.
Mechanical (all) rear brakes are set up deliberately so they are harder to press because your foot is much less subtle than your hand and if you're not daft its usually in a dirty great boot too. That means its pretty easy to over do it and lock up - especially in dodgy conditions - so they tend to get designed either with very low power like sport bikes or with a lot of effort needed to make them work like cruisers.
@@siraff4461 my back brake is good lucky it has abs so I know when I'm asking to much of it. That's with a modern bike with a disk and ABS.

Triumph tiger sport cruise control is on RHS as well. Looks wise I think there is a bit of April’s Capanord and Duc MS in it.
You'll be fine at 5'9; my friend's 5'4 and she struggled but managed to ride it.

Nice one, great review. Same theme re the chargers as I see a lot. Why are so many’s of them out of order all the time? Does anyone know?
New battery tech is coming on line within the next six months so anyone buying an electric vehicle should perhaps hold off for a bit, charge speed and capacity a real improvement!
It looks good and can’t complain about the performance or handling based on the road tests I’ve seen so far, however it’s the price. BBC, not my favourite channel, but they put a petrol Vauxhall against the equivalent electric, their outcome was at 5000 miles a year it would take 16 years to recoup the costs and for all the green people 13 years to get to the equivalent environmental output of the petrol. The other is charging, sometimes this can be ok but another UA-camr recently tested the Harley Live Wire and even down south in a big city had to visit four charge stations before they were able to charge it.
Electric definitely isn’t the answer… but it’s what we’re going to get for the next decade or so at least 🤷♂️
Very true. If you do fancy an EV but are worried about the environmental impact, one option is to buy a secondhand one as there is then no impact from producing the vehicle in the first place; that's why I bought my electric motorbike secondhand. Also, if you've got piles of cash (I certainly haven't!) you could buy a Tesla as they are immediately negative impact from day 1, as the company's squillions of solar panels have generated more green energy than all of the energy used to create every car they've ever made, plus all of the energy ever used to charge all of their cars at Tesla superchargers.
Hey Bruce! Excellent review. I’m considering buying an Energica bike. This very model you tested may meet my needs. I have a daily 30 km commuting in the French Alps. The only issue is that at 5’6, inseam 29, I’m a short guy. You look at ease on it but U’re huge;) do you think I can at least have a foot resting on the tarmac or should I pass and go for another model in range?
Hi Thierry, I genuinely didn’t feel the bike was high seated at all, although it obviously is going by seat height figures.
My best advice would be to test ride one, go to the Energica website and find a distributor close to you where you can test ride one and see for yourself 👍

Don't be too sure about that. The cost of these bikes, especially the batteries makes them ripe for the back alley parts market. Give it a few years and there will be people out there who won't want to pay through the nose for replacement parts and you'll see a similar problem that's currently happening with E-bicycles!
Good review again Bruce. Nice looking bike but the price is way to high and being a shorty like me I would need stilts to ride that bike.
In Canada the changing stations seem to be better maintained. Maybe less used but have not had a problem with car charging. Not sure about pricing a bike as ours is seems higher with no government programs. 🤔
My only resistance is the price!
The problem I'm seeing with the e-bike market right now is it feels a lot like they went from Model-T straight to Bugatti Veyron and just didn't really bother about all the stuff in between that the average Joe commuter is going to buy.
None of these will really do a lot to convert bikers until we start seeing direct competition in both performance and price of the most popular everyday bikes people are using now.
Tesla started the same way. Give it time.
This is the very bike I am buying ex-demo from English Electric Motorcycle Company. It is easier to handle than my Zero DSR (which I am selling).

Having travelled to the UK (when the airports were working but I still had to stay in a quarantine hotel and treated like a child molester with AIDS and leprosy) I was eventually released and picked up my hire car, which turned out to be a BMW 300e.
I was so happy that it was also capable of running on petrol alone because, travelling from London to Warwickshire on the motorway, I could not recharge it because the charging stations at motorway services were minimal and usually taken up by grinning, smartarse Tesla drivers.
You eventually find a charging point and you find it’s the wrong charging point for your cable.
Currently, electric is shite

Electric is the way of the future...Looks good on the Energica...But how good will it be on cheaper bikes and lower capacity bikes too, so many different variables.
Regarding the convenience though... mine is *way* more convenient than petrol. I do 55 miles a day, and it's always full in the morning. It really depends what you do with it.

I am getting a test ride on a demo day.
3rd of September down in Salisbury wiltshire. Ev bikes could be also hydrogen power cell or hydrogen burning. I am very tempted to get one after seeing this bike but, not sure at £28, 000. I don't own my own business, so depending on the demo ride I could be getting one or a kawasaki versys 1000 se.

When they are talking about power shortages in a few month's time due to lack of electricity ..... it's not going to be good ..... At the weekend was out on my HD pulled into a motorway service station as a friend need petrol and there was a que for electricity 4 car's and all power point's full .... Have ridden a zero loved it apart from the price and charging time was about 50 min's 80%

Looks like fun but as per usual the two problems that will stop me even considering is price and range. When that puzzle is solved then i may consider it as an option. Until one of the big boys (Suzuki/Yamaha etc..) jump on board i think we'll still be having this conversation in 10 years time.
Range isn’t a big deal anymore. 120-140 miles of normal energetic riding is ample for the vast majority of people. But recharge time and the infrastructure available to facilitate large-scale use of EV’s en masse is. THAT is going to be the stumbling block next as it currently struggles at todays levels in places.
Price won’t come down, they’ll come out with various credit options to make it more affordable but the actual price won’t reduce by much in my opinion.
@@teapotone Which will make it unaffordable for those on lower incomes who want to tour (Not everyone can afford the monthly payments) This is likely to make touring on a bike the preserve of the well off. The rest of us plebs can walk and cycle to work or use the chaotic public transport systems outside London and the SE. 😡

There is one electric bike I'm looking forward to it would be around £3200 and is built by an Indian company the bike is called ultraviolette f77 and looks so good it goes about 90mph and does about 80-100 miles range
Really would like an electric bike, but this is the same price as a BMW K1600 GTL specced up with the posh paint and all the options! Great idea, great bike, silly price!!!
