Sumomo doesn't look afraid of the giant father at all. She sometimes comes to him to play or eat feeds next to him.
Haoko plays with his son Riki.
Riki is so energetic and often invites his siblings and Haoko to play together.
The father and son look they are having fun.

上野動物園の赤ちゃんゴリラスモモが父ハオコの前をウロウロしていました。
ハオコはシルバーバックの中でも身体が大きい巨体のゴリラですが、まだ小さなスモモはハオコを怖がることは全くないようで、たまにハオコの後ろ側に来ては遊んだりエサを食べることもあります。
ハオコは息子リキに遊びに誘われたので、一緒に遊んでいました。ハオコはリキと遊ぶときによく腕を揺らします。
親子の遊びはとても楽しそうです。

Que pena que Haoko é quase indiferente a linda princesinha Sumomo, acho que ele não tratou a Sumomo igual tratou os outros filhos, sequestrando eles, brincando, com interesse, mas partiu da Momoko esse distanciamento e Haoko vendo reagiu da mesma forma, eu lamento, Sumomo é muito inteligente, corajosa, independente, por isso considero a linda Toto mãe do coração, foi a linda Sumomo escolheu. That’s where his brother Shabani is so different. AI showed no love to Annie and Shabani became a great father to Annie.

Do you think you could ask the zoo keepers if they ever thought of sending Komomo and Momoka to live with Djeeko's troop in Taiwan. They would be a perfect fit. Two more sisters. DJ would them and they him❤😊. It wouldn't hurt to make the suggestion 😊
