      I looked up a video. They're able to turn most of the plants they eat into protein. While humans can only benefit from about 60%. They also eat for about 8 hours a day. Human stomachs couldn't handle that much intake even if we tried.

    The brains on these guys, we call them animals in the traditional sense but there’s so much going on behind the eyes. That silverback looked like he was pondering the depths of all existence. Considering that, I don’t think a zoo is a bad place anymore. They do their best to give them space and stimulation. Good food. They don’t seem stressed. But maybe they still dream about wide open spaces.

      💯I really hope Shabani has a chance for more children. He’s a great dad, wonderful genetics as you say, and I think he will be crushed when his present children mature and leave the family nest. I feel like Shabani’s zest for life comes from his children and he will be very unhappy without a little one in his troop. Hope he can somehow have another baby or two soon! 🦍♥️

      @@gorillabff1003 Shabani's father had many offspring. I wish the same for Shabani as well. I've followed many of the well known gorilla's lineages for many years and it seems that many of the old schoolers like Shabani's father had 2-3 mates. They reproduced more, it seems. Shabani has multiple half siblings. It seems with the current gorilla silverbacks, ages 21-30, they only have 2 offspring each. Of course they're still young in gorilla years, like Shabani, but Nene is older and probably won't reproduce again. It's usually between ages 21-25 before the silverbacks have their 1st offspring. I give Nene and AI props as well because gorilla mamas are just as important.

      Mate I didn´t studied Gorillas to extend that I would give You whole presentation.
      But I can humbly say, the way You see in this video how they non-verbally but clearly communicated. They show frustration non-verbally and it´s clear sign of inteligent behaviour.
      They are fully present in their bodies and minds.
      They don´t yell, atleast in this video at each other while there is building tension like most humans do.
      So it´s really Inspiring, how they move, and how they are approaching that space and situations.
      Completely differently, but it is their way of nature.
      That Gorilla father was caring for it´s children, doesn´t want them to hurt, but there was some sort of conflict, but it ended in happy interaction.
      Plus every aspect of nature as we all are part of. Is potential always to learn more also about our- selves.
      For example I give You : The airplanes has construction of wings like eagle does.
      It is exactly blue-printed, learned from Them. Because they are absolutely respected for their speed, aerodynamics, sharp instincts.
      Absolutely staggering.
      So obviously people who knows this, has taken this to engineering.
      it is absolutely working.
      Less turbulance
      More Energy saving
      Better Aerodynamics.
      More Safety for Us.
      You can find theese on internet if you want proof.

    In the wild young males usually leave the family at certain age, a conflict of interest with the dominate male(food/females), I think that's what we see hear but at a lower stage, mother Nene not quite ready to let go, the son not so frisky due to lack of females.

    • @King_Flippy_Nips
      @King_Flippy_Nips Місяць тому

      Not always, they have to keep strong males around so that they have a replacement for the alpha silverback when he gets old, sometimes groups have multiple silverbacks, in the future kiyomasa will challenge and replace shabani as alpha silverback and that is likely where the tension comes from shabani knows that kiyomasa is the strongest challenger to his leadership and the control of the food supply and who gets to eat first is decided by the alpha silverback, so tensions will arise where food is concerned and also with control of the females of the group.

    • @King_Flippy_Nips
      @King_Flippy_Nips Місяць тому

      @@MetalxxDragoness There is no need, there always comes a point at which the alpha silverback is challenged and replaced by another regardless if it is his son or not, if they were in the wild and got rid of the son and did not have another strong male to replace the silverback then it could lead to the whole group disbanding and going to join other groups or their entire group being absorbed into a stronger rival group, the alpha silverback has a job and when he gets too old or weak he has to be retired and replaced that is just the fact of reality.

But she a lot of the time pushes Kiyomasa tooooooo far and one day she just might get in between them and getting hurt bad. (Nene isn’t my favorite female gorilla but I don’t want anything to happen to her until she decides it’s time to cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge). Again At 5:42 Annie walks up on Nene and Kiyo before Shabani.
