I find interesting that the tape spindles move with the cassette carriage. My Sanyo 8mm camcorder also has a mechanism like that, I did a video where I opened it so we can see the mechanism.
I have that same model it’s pretty good and all but when I put a new maxell tape it eats it but then when I put it again it’s fine but it didn’t eat my very first tape
Hey man how exactly does it charge the batteries? do the batteries need a standalone charger? as I've tried plugging the DC cable into the camera but the batteries aren't charging.

what's that white thing that locks the door in place? I have mine, but it's fallen off and I don't know how to put it back where it came from.
You don't have any Hi8 or 8mm tapes?
The VCR King I have hundreds of them, but not a lot of point to use one here because it will hide the mechanism from view.
