Been there from the "near start" with them. Bars and ballrooms. All of them have remained down to earth, Good People. Fame has not corrupted them. I've even hung out with them after some shows and just talked about... life. On one tour thru Dallas, Tx, I had tix, but came down with a bug. My husband went without me (so jealous)but when Lzzy didn't see me front row, center stage (as usual), she asked hubby if I was ok. He told her I was at home, sick. They sent me a "get well soon"card! 💌. Awesome folks!

What a fucking brilliant song. It's thoughtful, melodic and beautifully sung by Lzzy. I love the new album, and think this is the standout track. Wasn't familiar with Halestorm before seeing them with Evanescence in October. I was blown away. The whole band was incredible.

I felt like my rocker chick card should be revoked by LOVING THIS SONG. It speaks to all the things in the world today I cannot control. My first listen I liked it, but after having it on repeat for a few times, I just felt my blood boil because of how much if affected me. We do not stand up against the terrible things fast enough to evoke the changes required to progress as a people. We keep referring back to things from the past to guide us, and where the adage tells us repeating history is a doomed prospect yet some cling to that past.
Look into Tommy Vext since he’s the one who actually wrote the song not Halestorm

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard... Not many songs can make me cry, but this one did it.

Haunting. I think this is my favourite song off the album. I'm not usually one for the slower songs, but as a very aural person (I 'feel' music) this just captivates me. This album is so raw and angry, and a noticeable lack of fuck rock.

This should be used in a movie. It's perfect for it. It is an absolutely beautiful song, and really is true of the world today. Then she has that amazing voice on top of it. Powerful song.

My first exposure to this song was the video showing the portrayal of what I guess was supposed to be a runaway teen (Ashley McBride was also singing). That Halestorm provided links for organizations that help young folks who have left probably-abusive situations at the end of the video was a marvelous thing. I like to think of myself as a humane person, and I wish I had more ability to put resources in their coffers, while also wanting very much that such organizations weren't so necessary in this society.
Just discovered this album about 6 months ago. I haven't heard a lot of new music but this surprised me I actually liked this. That's strange coming from me music is not what it used to be but I will give this a thumbs up 👍

Hopefully Halestorm does what is right and gives Tommy Vext the credit he is due for this song. The record label took the song and gave it to them with no credit to him. He owns the masters to it, and they are aware, but do not care. I was a big Halestorm fan, but I am afraid I am not any longer. Makes me sad the record companies are so out to destroy him and got Halestorm involved. However, Halestorm knew what they were doing and where the song came from but won't speak against the record labels.
