That "you're so certain I'll infect you when I'm near" hits close cos that's how I was treated growing up at school. They said I had "the lergy" so none of my peers would touch anything I'd touched, avoid me so I never had any friends or people to pair up with and would only sit next to me if there was a table leg there for "protection". Sounds silly now we're all grown up and in our 30s, but as a kid that was all I knew
