- Welcome to my video about two brand new luxury housing estates in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Today I share these amazing properties with you, as they could be perfect for retirement or Expats in Thailand.
Our first stop is a new house just 10 minutes out of Chiang Mai city. This property is brand new and offers a variety of features that make it an ideal home. The house has four bedrooms as well as a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining area. Plan are in place for a large swimming pool area.
The second estate we visited is Graceland, which is the new premier gated housing estate in Chiang Mai. This estate offers luxury 4 and 5 bedroom houses, and is sure to impress even the most discerning buyer. The houses are designed with modern architecture and feature high-quality finishes. The estate also offers a range of amenities, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, and future tennis court.
I was very impressed with both of these housing estates, and I believe that they offer some of the best luxury living in Chiang Mai.

I was in Chiang mai last weekend for the first time. I cant give a reason Wayne living half the year in Chiang Rai but was seriously impressed with the city. We went for a walk in a park by the moat and all the expats smiled and were friendly. They seemed to meet in a coffee shop after exercise very civilised and defiantly a place I could life....well done on your vlogs.

As you are an Elvis fan this might be interesting to you.
I saw Elvis at the Fair Park Colosseum in Lubbock, Texas in 1956, I was eleven years old. He worn a maroon colored suit, the stage was built of wood and you could see it shaking as Elvis did his gyrations. I was right up front.
Me and a buddy went to Graceland on our Harleys about ten years ago and did the whole tour; house, airplanes, cars and grave site. Memories are a wonderful thing. Stay safe man.

Liked the last house (5bed), prices still feel a big too high but I guess they only really go in one direction right. Great finds Wayne, nice one 👍👍
Not sure what a 5 bedroom would be in the UK like this, but I think it would be a lot more. It's defo a high end place this mate. When it's finished it will be a lovely place, by the looks of it. Not for everyone though. Cheers mate.

Thanks for the tour of Graceland Wayne. Was wondering what that development looked like. I would wait for the second phase pool villas myself! Graceland is directly across from a fairly large International / American School, so I assume while school is in session traffic during drop off and pick up times would be unbearable. Something to consider.
Cheers Mark, I was always meaning to come here for a look also, so glad I did. Yes, Grace school is just out the front. Not sure how the school traffic would be, it seemed a really open space at the school. It might be a problem for some though, yes. Cheers mate.
Wow, I loved everything about Graceland, and especially the price, that was not only affordable but someplace I'd be proud to call home, no way would $164K get you something like that here, they have some new ones near my house that are same size or smaller and start around $300K. That first one shown was my favorite.

They're like palaces compared to my wee bungalow and the prices are pretty similar. To get a house of those specs where I live would be £500k +++

nice development in the wrong location,as on airport flight path ,another thing is the thai style building structures our way too close to each other ,hardly any back garden where you want privacy,. as mine had in udonthani .great vlog elvis
Yes, all about saving space in Chiang Mai. They want to get as many as possible. Gardens wasn't to bad, I forgot to show it though.
Thanks for the take along Wayne! Nice yes but price? I don't think so as the upper end of these homes approach the price of a home on an outer island of Hawaii.. The difference is Hawaii equity appreciates at a rapid pace & does not have laws refusing any citizen of any country from actually owning the home 😉 Thailand is rapidly changing so hopefully changes for the better too 🙏 Thanks!

Very nice houses, but for $200,000-356,000USD, there are lots of areas in Europe I'd live in, I think. But some people would think these prices are nothing, and will be happy to pay for them, I'm sure!
I think for the 5 bedroom it would be a lot more in the UK. But I agree, you could find something just as nice and cheaper .

They housing estates look like concrete jungle. They could learn from Aussie housing estates with parks and tree lined streets. Seems on the expensive side the first estate

Wow!!! Grace International School. I worked with them for 8 years on various orphan projects in the mountains for northern Thailand. I was not impressed with the house development. Too expensive and in the flight pathway of CNX. Looks like you have a new career as an Elvis impersonator

How awful... reminds me of all of the always-new housing developments we have here in the US, for the up & coming, young & successful. Perfect for us Americans, who feel the need for an overly big house, to fill up with a lot of unneccesary & useless junk, in order to keep up with & try to impress the neighbors - all while getting even further into credit card debt. :P
