    Our local swap meet is lame, but our thrift stores have a lot of good stuff. I found a $2000 ice cream machine last week for $30 usd. My tips, go early, when I am selling, I am amazed at the people walking around at 10 am looking for bargains. the dealers bought the bargains at 8. Take cash, Bring small bills. Take a backpack, a magnifying glass, and do some research so you can spot fakes.

    Reminded me of a friend who used to shop at flea markets all the time. I went to his apartment one time and he had a big bowl filled with full size chocolate bars on a living room table. I asked if I could have one and he graciously said yes. I took one but when I opened it, the chocolate was faded, somewhat white. I said, "hey what's with the chocolate?"....He said that he gets them at the flea for 5 cents each because they were melted in the heat but that they're still good.....I passed.

We went back about 3 weeks later and the statue was still there, but there was another lady there, and she said she would sell it separately.. And a lot less than the first seller. Love your bike tours, don't really care about this content, but where/how did you learn to speak basic Thai?

    • @LifewithSerg
      @LifewithSerg  4 місяці тому +1

      Not to worry, I will continue to do a variety of content. The amount of Thai I can speak after living here for 2 1/2 years is quite embarrassing. I’ve just picked up some very basic phrases on my own. I really need to learn more.

    Hi I wanted to know if you do sourcing? I’ve always wanted to go to thailand to see the markets. I’ve been looking for shirts/baby tees from the 2000s. There’s one specifically from my childhood named Pucca which was a character from a Korean tv show. If you do please let me know! I would love to be in contact with you. If you have an ebay please put it in your link! I would love to hear from you!
