As much as like your travels videos… I love a market. A Thai market is where I get my most pleasure from. I like that you include markets on your bike journeys. Great video Serg.
Love your market videos! One of your long time subscribers from Nepal. I visit Bangkok once a year on average, and will be there in next week. Will definitely check out this market this time. Thank you for taking time to make this video.
I just love your videos in general doesn't matter if it's just you getting lost, your epic bike journey or this i love watching it! Next time I'm in bangkok I'm visiting this place.
More 2nd hand market videos would be cool. I probably would've bought that NOFX shirt. Excellent band that I've seen a couple of times in Australia. Cheers Serg!
This was a great video. Quite an impressive market with lots of variety. I enjoyed watching it and would like to see more. It is very interesting seeing daily life of people in other countries. Thanks for posting.
Our local swap meet is lame, but our thrift stores have a lot of good stuff. I found a $2000 ice cream machine last week for $30 usd. My tips, go early, when I am selling, I am amazed at the people walking around at 10 am looking for bargains. the dealers bought the bargains at 8. Take cash, Bring small bills. Take a backpack, a magnifying glass, and do some research so you can spot fakes.
Yeah, this video is definitely made for people like yourself. I think I’ve got four or more others on the same topic. Actually, I should make a playlist and put them all in there.

Awesome! Thank you, good tips and advice. I'm planning on moving to Thailand within a year and these flea markets are a good place to start to buy something for the apartment, plus I love buying Vans Shoes and rock & roll tshirts 😎

I asked if I could have one and he graciously said yes. I took one but when I opened it, the chocolate was faded, somewhat white. I said, "hey what's with the chocolate?"....He said that he gets them at the flea for 5 cents each because they were melted in the heat but that they're still good.....I passed.

@@LifewithSerg Yes! I could see it taking at least that long. I would go multiple times a month for that long. LOL I’m a slow shopper. It could get a bit overwhelming.

We went back about 3 weeks later and the statue was still there, but there was another lady there, and she said she would sell it separately.. And a lot less than the first seller. Hey Serg, I used to go to Pantip Mall at Ngamwongwan. Go up to 5th or 6th floor, there is an open space flea market type set up, on a whole floor. Think they even have an upper floor too later. But it has been at least 10 years ago. Perhaps you can go on a mission to verify if its still there. Good part , there is a/c. And A food court on 3rd floor if hungry. or thirsty
I haven’t been to that mall, but everyone that’s gone in the last couple of years has said it is almost a complete Ghost Town. It’s pretty much deserted. I’ve got a very unique secondhand market video coming up. Stay tuned.
Reminds me of my Thai friends who I used to play basketball with. Back in 2001 they would get 2nd hand shoes and jerseys from JJ. The even went to the Cambodian border sometimes. I think a lot of these second hand items are donations from the US through Cambodia.
My wife's sister from Malaysia travels to this market once a month to buy her clothing stock. She makes a pretty good living reselling from a stall in Malaysia.
