I watched this film when it first released on the 11th based on the trailer. I have seen it 7 times since because: 1) their chemistry is amazing; 2) the banter and double entendres well written and endearing as well as amusing and 3) the intimacy scenes beautifully and tastefully done. I have since seen it 7 additional times, ordered and read the book (in one day the first time) and re-read it twice and I have signed the petition asking for the release of the 3 hour version of this film. So I guess you could say that this 70 yr. old mother of 2 and great grandma of 1, thoroughly enjoyed this film. ❤😊. So tell me, did you know there’s a 3 hour version? Have YOU signed the petition? Would you like to see it? I noticed that the deleted scene is on UA-cam. It’s a cute scene. I’m hoping for the camping scene & the forest scene to be released 🤞🏼 Take care \ have fun, girls. (P.S. Not to mention that every time I watch the movie again I notice something new in Nicholas' performance.
He's a phenomenal actor and he acts with looks and details.
It's very clear from the start that Henry doesn't know how to deal with Alex because he's attracted to him, which we discover as the movie progresses, but Nicholas was able to show this right away with his impeccable performance.
5:35 What actually happened was Henry tried to walk away, Alex reached out to stop him, so Henry SHOVED him away, which knocked him into the cake.

I don’t know if you saw the “For Kristy” at the end of the movie but Taylor Zakhar Perez’s sister Kristy passed away in June from cancer and she was so excited to see the movie, so it was their way of honouring her since she couldn’t be there when it premiered. She was apparently his biggest fan and was so excited to see him in a leading role.

I love this movie!!! I have watched it 4 times in 1 day and I cannot stop. The book and the movie are great. The chemistry between Nick and Taylor is off the charts!!! I laughed, I cried. Everytime I watch it I see more details and nuances that I missed. The love making scene was perfection!!! Never seen anything like that before. ❤️

LOL Nicholas (Henry) actually told that during filming you can get quite peckish as in hungry so they would snack on the cake covering them during the filming of the cake scene, he also told, the crew wanted to be part of it so they threw more cake on the guys, he called it a great bonding experience. That and how difficult it was to get the cake off him, he showered for 30 minutes after and a day later he would still find icing in places.
that cake looked so good. we'd eat it too. 😂

His father was a James Bond actor, and they were specifically visiting the cancer ward, in his honor.
I really see this becoming a rom-com classic like I def see it becoming a quintessential must-see like 10/15 years from know especially as the landscape of love stories are changing now with having characters not necessarily being straight or only being white ppl.. on another note as smb that did read the book I LOVED this movie I understand why they made some of the changes made but I still feel at its core it portrayed the message of the book

was patiently waiting for your reactions on this one.....I read the book recently but also am not one of those people that looses my shit because adaptations aren't exact to the book....when I was reading the book knowing it was going to be a movie I kept saying to myself "there's no way this is going to all fit in one movie unless it's like 4 hrs long".....so happy you all loved the movie!
There were two big changes that made me mad: how the emails were leaked and the double agent.
Other than that, I did not care about every change in the film.

The supporting cast in this movie are so talented and also hilarious, ESPECIALLY Zahra.
Have watched this movie so many times. Absolutely love it. So funny,so romantic and so beautiful. The sex scenes are so beautifully shot and are tender, loving and just generally romantic. The performances are amazing and the chemistry between Nick and Tyler is off the charts.

This was a really cute reaction. As a bisexual though, I just have to call out that your editing cut out all references to Alex being bisexual, not gay, and you repeatedly refer to him as gay. It doesnt seem like you did this intentionally, but Bi-Erasure is a real thing many of us are sensitive about, and this movie is a rare representation of bisexual pride. Just some food for thought. @jonathanhemlock5130 that is a great way to express your lack of understanding of the term bisexual. It means sexual attraction towards more than one gender. You don't have to be constantly acting on those feelings to validate your bisexuality. I have been married twice, 1st to a male, and now to a female. I have been in a monogamous relationship with my wife nearly 20 years, but that doesn't erase the fact I am bisexual and still could be attracted to other genders.
I always love watching the movie first and then reading the book afterwards. I’m a very visual person so now i can visualize the characters and places and also know exactly what to look forward to😂
Yeah I like this way too because the book has so much more plot in it, so by watching the movie first you won't be disappointed by anything they left out!
