I don’t know if you saw the “For Kristy” at the end of the movie but Taylor Zakhar Perez’s sister Kristy passed away in June from cancer and she was so excited to see the movie, so it was their way of honouring her since she couldn’t be there when it premiered. She was apparently his biggest fan and was so excited to see him in a leading role.
After watching the movie 15 times, I read the book and my life is so much better. The movie made me love the book even more and the book made me love the movie even more ❤❤❤❤❤
The juicy chemistry between the leads is…quite something. You really root for them. The story does have a little element of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ running through it.
LOL Nicholas (Henry) actually told that during filming you can get quite peckish as in hungry so they would snack on the cake covering them during the filming of the cake scene, he also told, the crew wanted to be part of it so they threw more cake on the guys, he called it a great bonding experience. That and how difficult it was to get the cake off him, he showered for 30 minutes after and a day later he would still find icing in places.
This is why I love reactions. I have friends (I promise lol) but not the kind I would watch this film with so it was delightful seeing you guys get hyped at all the places I did. “He looks so sad!” *SQUEALS*

was patiently waiting for your reactions on this one.....I read the book recently but also am not one of those people that looses my shit because adaptations aren't exact to the book....when I was reading the book knowing it was going to be a movie I kept saying to myself "there's no way this is going to all fit in one movie unless it's like 4 hrs long".....so happy you all loved the movie!
There were two big changes that made me mad: how the emails were leaked and the double agent. Other than that, I did not care about every change in the film.
I really see this becoming a rom-com classic like I def see it becoming a quintessential must-see like 10/15 years from know especially as the landscape of love stories are changing now with having characters not necessarily being straight or only being white ppl.. on another note as smb that did read the book I LOVED this movie I understand why they made some of the changes made but I still feel at its core it portrayed the message of the book

I watched this film when it first released on the 11th based on the trailer. I have seen it 7 times since because: 1) their chemistry is amazing; 2) the banter and double entendres well written and endearing as well as amusing and 3) the intimacy scenes beautifully and tastefully done. I have since seen it 7 additional times, ordered and read the book (in one day the first time) and re-read it twice and I have signed the petition asking for the release of the 3 hour version of this film. My God, yes. Not to mention that every time I watch the movie again I notice something new in Nicholas' performance. He's a phenomenal actor and he acts with looks and details. It's very clear from the start that Henry doesn't know how to deal with Alex because he's attracted to him, which we discover as the movie progresses, but Nicholas was able to show this right away with his impeccable performance.

This was a really cute reaction. As a bisexual though, I just have to call out that your editing cut out all references to Alex being bisexual, not gay, and you repeatedly refer to him as gay. I have been in a monogamous relationship with my wife nearly 20 years, but that doesn't erase the fact I am bisexual and still could be attracted to other genders.

Have watched this movie so many times. Absolutely love it. So funny,so romantic and so beautiful. The sex scenes are so beautifully shot and are tender, loving and just generally romantic. The performances are amazing and the chemistry between Nick and Tyler is off the charts.

This was a really cute reaction. As a bisexual though, I just have to call out that your editing cut out all references to Alex being bisexual, not gay, and you repeatedly refer to him as gay. It doesnt seem like you did this intentionally, but Bi-Erasure is a real thing many of us are sensitive about, and this movie is a rare representation of bisexual pride. Just some food for thought. I do love your reactions, and you are both gorgeous.

@jonathanhemlock5130 that is a great way to express your lack of understanding of the term bisexual. It means sexual attraction towards more than one gender. You don't have to be constantly acting on those feelings to validate your bisexuality. I have been married twice, 1st to a male, and now to a female. I have been in a monogamous relationship with my wife nearly 20 years, but that doesn't erase the fact I am bisexual and still could be attracted to other genders.
