I've got both, the tolerances are slightly better on the premium version. Most notably the chest stays together a heck of a lot better than the original. Seems like how the same fixes they applied to Stepper/Ricochet.
If you mean in general regarding the chest then I will have to take your word for it because I do not fully remember. However, it still has that nasty issue with the chest popping apart when you try and rotate the arms. Does yours have that issue as well? Thank you for watching and commenting. :D
Awesome to see you back Jack. I have the 1st release. A couple of years ago I painted the chins and the feet silver myself. Still the best Jazz out now. Hope Fanstoys makes one as well. Take care buddy. Roy
@@toydojo Yeah that chest issue sucks. Really hope Takara or Fanstoys does him more justice. You are welcome bro. I recently watched the new drunken produktionz vids as well Jack. Really enjoyed them. Good old days 😉👍🏻
@@toydojo naw I’m not too worried about it I took the rear tires off my transform and roll agent meister and used those and they look pretty good on the Make toys...🤔
NICE! Where did you pick yours up? It would be great if someone could oversize him, but that may be highly unlikely now since Hasbro has really cracked down on those companies that oversize their stuff. Thank you for watching and commenting :)
@@toydojo The SS86 toys have actually turned up in Australia. So managed to grab him in-store. Would love an Earthrise Runabout tho but we couldnt get him shipped from the American target website.
It's more of a "reissue+" than "premium" but I appreciate a reissue all the same. And it IS better, just......barely. Too bad about the arm issues; I know you weren't the only one who noticed it. Maybe if one of the parts was sanded/shaved down? Do you think that'd help? Still, it looks great on the shelf, and the odds of a Takara are almost nil!
Just looking it over after seeing your comment, the shoulder would be the only place I'd think you could shave. However, I think it runs the risk of knocking out the metal pin in the shoulder. If you watch that part of the video again where I am speaking on it, you can see that small pin and shaving that close may cause some damage.
Podcast sounds dope AF! I’ll be there for it!
Nice to hear from you guys again! Happy new year! Greetz
Thank you very much. Happy 2021 to you as well! :D

@@toydojoOh yeah agreed, I'm not saying it's 100% just that it stays together a lot better than the original one does.

Thank you Roy. Yeah thus Jazz is pretty solid, except for the whole shoulder chest thing. Thanks for watching my content bud :)

@ABC Bricks Yeah that is what I meant. I am Dutch so English isn't my 1st language. 😉
@@SoundwaveNL1977 Awesome! Thanks buddy. We will be back at them more regularly😁
@@toydojo Awesome
Just got mine in today from toy dojo and I was missing a rear rubber tire...lol
Seriously?! Have you reached out to Toy Dojo to let them know?

I just got the new SS86 Jazz. Waiting for the toyhax sticker set to come out. Wonder if someone is going to do an oversize version of him.

I don’t know if this figure really needs the word “premium” in it
I agree Lucas. They could have called it Downbeat 2 or Downbeat B or Downbeat with stickers lol. Did you get my email from my other channel?
Downbeat the way it should of been edition? Lol
