Firstly id do all the bushes then give the coil overs a service or get a good brand then a proper wheel alignment.
I redone all the bushes and it made the car so much better

Change the caster. My WRX felt like it was a bit too vauge but got an alignment and asked them to throw more caster at it to make the steering heavier and it did wonders
BOV is factory fitted for a reason, the 6 factory one was plastic, try a factory Evo 8 one (steel). I have an old AVO one on my 6, love it.

There is a GFB Response BOV-BPV under the hood, im I right? :) (I have one in my Impreza GF8 GT Turbo, great stuff. 10% vents to the atmo, and the rest goes back to recirc)

You should drive St Andrews Kinglake Rd, one of the best driver's roads in Victoria. Then drive further into chum creek and finish off at Healesville.

Did you by chance look at the Black 6 in NSW for 50k? the built one
Wouldnt push past 270kw on a 6gsr block , Also GTP712 on a Stock block 8 gsr/mr or 9 block is 320-330kw all day an on a built motor 350-360kw I've personally ran one many many yrs ago , you will enjoy it it defs Look into perhaps building the bottom end with H beam rods (Nitto,Spool, Carrillo) , Wouldn't go with Manley/eagle/scat etc (when H beam) I beam Manley is fine

Always a time and place, I never drive like this when there’s other people all around or traffic respect other people 😁 I also drive like a grandma around town and in the city. Track is my playground where I push 100%, mountains are for fun, but never 100%.
Get a radar detector brother and you’ll know if there are cops or speed cameras nearby so you can do some pulls here and there. But always be safe and mindful of other road users please. Quiet big open back roads are the best for pulls as you get more freedom and space and minimal traffic but just for the pulls, no need to clock the speedo and risk an accident. Tracks the best way to go bro 💯👌

It's probably just me, but I think you should save this car, set it up for track days and not drive it everywhere. From what I hear, parts are very dear and maintainance is very extensive.

Barra can't turn for shit. Only good in a straight line if it gets the power down. Evos are alot quicker than people think.
I'd still own an evo over any barra powered car no matter how fast the barra is.
