Hello, I am a w7 32-bit user and I have been using Bitdefender free for several days. Too much memory consumption for me, it does not have a simple option to deactivate it from the taskbar, and browsing both the internet and my folders was tedious, very heavy. Now I'm trying kaspersky free. So far I am satisfied, it does not take unnecessary resources from my PC and it seems smarter when it comes to protecting. It allows me to browse without slowing down the PC. Easy to deactivate. It's what it should be.
On the contrary, I'm thinking of switching to bitdefender now. Because I'm tired of Kaspersky's glitches. Kaspersky is a good defender if you use everything without your own settings. But if you try to do something not according to the standard, then God, it lives its own life and besides, it has lost its automatic rules for programs and now I cannot use the Internet. I manually marked all my programs as fully trusted for Internet access. Moreover, reinstalling the antivirus did not change anything; it continues to store its settings anyway. This antivirus, damn it, lives a separate life. I am also annoyed by potential surveillance from the FSB, for foreigners this is not a problem, but for me, CIA surveillance would be better.
Hi. Do you recommend any windows debloaters and how do we use them without breaking windows when lowering the processes down to 50's or lower. example chris titus (advanced) or winpilot. Thanks in advance.
Both Kaspersky and Bitdefender have strong anti-malware capabilities, but their methods are slightly different. Kaspersky provides a System Watcher component that monitors system activity and uses various databases and algorithms to detect and block suspicious activity, effectively protecting against zero-day threats and ransomware. On the other hand, Bitdefender excels at real-time protection and has a slightly better result in detecting and eliminating 2,000 types of malware during testing.

What is the difference between Kaspersky premium(subscription model) vs Kaspersky Internet security( yearly license key) ? I have the later. Can you please clarify ?
The difference is that you got suckered into paying for extra 'features' that aren't really necessary. Just about all of the antivirus solution companies do this in order to make money, but there are no significant differences in real world performance for antivirus, antispyware and malware for example, compared to the free versions. This can be checked on AV Comparatives by the way, so that you can see for yourself.
Bitdefender looks pretty good here! Might use them to run my firewall for my Netgear home router. Does anyone think that will get in the way of running Sophos on my home systems though?
Great video. But instead of only malware tests can you also look into the advanced threat defenses of these antivirus since they they pose quite a major issue. For malware tests antivirus are getting better at detecting them
This is nice! I've been a Bitdefender user for years with my family and PCs. I couldn't trust Kaspersky before as they had a lot of product upgrade spam. It just irritated me. Nice to know their performance is up!
Bitdefender failed me with a very sneaky RAT that was a persistent threat. The malware was able to disable Bitdefender immediately (I'm assuming through remote commands) and then do whatever it needed to to Windows to shield it from view. Then the app started back up again and made no peep about the malware. I abandoned Bitdefender after that. I'm now using Kaspersky with VPN. Hoping this one does better but I'm not holding my breath.
Yesterday I replaced my ESET with Kaspersky plus. Unbelievable how much it managed to detect, all of which ESET left behind. Kaspersky even threw out some keyloggers.👍
Just as good as the paid, in testing, but comes with fewer 'features.' Many of those are in fact not necessary and do nothing to help with system security. Check the AV Comparatives tests and see for yourself.

@@gremory0 Probably a fake Adobe Reader installer. It legitimately installs Reader but trojans another software inside. BitDefender probably blocked the Trojan payload but let Adobe Reader install just fine.
I once got a virus because I stupidly downloaded a Firefox update from a non-firefox website without thinking over a decade ago. Took a few hours to clean up the damage caused by that.
This is great, but I would like to see how many system resources are being used.
Good test, thnx Leo!
Glad to see you here

Oi hello JiTech, big fan of ya keep up the good work😊
bitdefender still earning its place ; glad to see it
also glad to see kaspersky has gotten a lot better in recent years
great video dude =]
We've been using it since 2008, not a single infection since then... back then, I was also a not very vigilant child, known to download malware on a weekly basis 😂
Really appreciate the work you do, you are the best I’ve seen in cyber security on this platform
I had bitdefender blocking my own C code once, which was really confusing to me.
I like your new software suggestions! Just wanted to share Immersive Translate with you. It’s been essential for accessing international software resources.
Please review UltraAV and compare it to Kaspersky or Bitdefender.
Both are known for their behavioral engines . Can we test these two ?
Bitdefender free protege de ramsonware?
Great test 👍. Thank you
Super comparison! Can we see a comparison between Sophos enterprise and Bit defender enterprise? I use for various companies the Sophos security suite and I must say it's rock solid, especially it's tamper protection! Happy to provide a license for a Sophos enterprise endpoint to test
Used BD then switched to Kaspersky early last year due to price plus Kaspersky included VPN and password manager for free
How did you activate the unlimited VPN in the Plus version of Kaspersky? I own it (Total Security to Kaspersky Plus) and I don't have the unlimited VPN
why do you even pay for these AV softwares?
i just use the free ver of bitdefender....
Download it and log in with your ID. @@LovelyKittenMusic
My father used to buy Kaspersky when we had XP seems like a legendary product to me ❤
So at 1:18 did you actaully accept Yes to install the app on the left side ( bitdefender ) ??? or am I not seeing that right?
Yes and also in kaspersky same. To se what will happen after program installed.
As a bitdefender user for multiple years and not any crudware that i know of in my pc they have a customer for life. Not that resource intensive either. Looking to add the VPN asap.
Who won the match? I still can't understand the enigma results 😂
Why those are the only good ones AV having high detection rate? since years ago i mean....
Very very helpful vid. Thank you!
Both are great, I have BD now and feel like it is more "clunky" and resource heavy. But can't go wrong either way
Love your conent bro, really good information.
Thank you for your content.
Thx 4 the testing. It's really appreciated... Which one uses less resources it it's significant ?? 👍😎
yes Kaspersky uses less, it can be significant at times.
This can be checked on AV Comparatives by the way, so that you can see for yourself.
how would ESET compare?
Bitdefender looks pretty good here! Might use them to run my firewall for my Netgear home router. Does anyone think that will get in the way of running Sophos on my home systems though?
Wouldn't you have to make your PC the router then...?
Kaspersky even threw out some keyloggers.👍
tf u downloadin?
I can only imagine what your PC is going through.
Nice, very well executed
What about the free version?
Just as good as the paid, in testing, but comes with fewer 'features.' Many of those are in fact not necessary and do nothing to help with system security. Check the AV Comparatives tests and see for yourself.
@@ZenAndPsychedelicHealingCenterI wouldn't count Firewall not necessary
I'll always stick with Kaspersky. They're 1 of the best antivirus software. No doubt Bitdefender is great, but I still rate Kaspersky the best. They never miss anything, so you're completely safe
Very interesting.
Do you have the opportunity to test SentinelOne again?
It's been 4 years since the last test. I would be interested to know how SentinelOne behaves against 2k viruses.
this is what i have been waiting for
Shouldn't anti-virus actually stop further intrusion when bombarded with attack ? Why even detect it in this case ?
Hey Leo thank you very much this is great comparison between two great security applications I hope you can make another antivirus tier list for 2024
Thanks for the video. I was just trying to figure out if I should get the Kaspersky premium since my license was coming to an end and was hoping that maybe there would be other security software that it was better but it looks like kaspersky still has it so I went ahead and renewed my license
It would be interesting to see some antivirus comparison for android phones. Some of my experience tells me that in that case Bitdefender is a better option than Kaspersky.
it is, Bitdefender has full real time protection both during install and in downloads
Why my kaspersky free's protection settings automatically turns off after restarting my device once?
Because it is free pay the price then u get the perfect product
hi thanks for your update. I would like to ask if you can share the 2000 malware list. so I could also test our endpoint security. tia. take care.
Could you test ESET?
Can I get your antivirus test tool? I want to test a antivirus called V3, but I can't find any tools that can test antiviruses.
Could please give your insight about the Kaspersky Intrusion Prevention Settings below
?
Kaspersky Intrusion Prevention Settings - Trust digitally signed applications AND Load rules for applications from Kaspersky Security Network (KSN)? Do you think it is a good practice enable them?
I went from Norton as it came pre-loaded on my laptop I'm currently using AVG. I've looked on both the official Bitdefender web page and the Kaspersky page and I can't find the free version of either AV where do I download either for free please someone help me thank you
Please create some video on phishing attacks for Kaspersky, BitDefender, ESET, Avast and Norton. Also please upload some video on AVG vs Malware.
could we get test of Bitdefender gravityzone business offering? there are free 30-day trail available.
Looking for a replacement for the recently banned Kaspersky. The UltraAV handoff by Kaspersky was a disaster on my machine so I uninstalled it and everything is working fine again.
