It's the middle of June with a heatwave we've endured all week, but watching Christmas ornaments being turned like this was very relaxing to watch and inspiring also. Sharing this with my wife who is the wood turner, while I prefer cutting boards, and other stuff that uses other woodworking tools. I know she will LOVE this too.
I JUST watched this. Looking for my next Christmas gifts. Every year I make ornaments for family and friends. Your masterful work of art stopped me in my tracks. Amazing, beautiful work of art. Thanks for the inspiration. I just subbed also.
They turned out great!! will probably try to make some myself in my shop . It looked like a relaxed and fun time in the workshop. BTW! What epoxy resin did you use?? Tanks for the video !!
Hey Sandman! Thanks for watching! I'm using Total Boat TableTop Epoxy for the bulbs. It's not a deep pour epoxy but I haven't had issues with thermal cracking, or impregnating the wood.
Beautiful work of art!!!
Thank you! I really appreciate the compliment!
I love your work and the method you used to make this perfect gift. Thanks for shareing.

Anybody with the slightest modicum of Christmas Spirit would be proud to have a set of your ornaments on their tree. Magnificent work sir.
Great idea. I would have never thought of this idea, but you did, & know we can all try. Thanks!
Beautiful ornaments. Just curious how you sell your items - craft fairs, Etsy or something else?
Love the beauty of the wood blended with the colored resin.
Thank you, David! The resin bulbs are one of my more satisfying projects once completed.

Thank you, Donald! I'm glad you like the video. A little more time consuming with the resin vs. straight wood, but it's a fun project.
