Superbe objet pour une décoration et pour Noël. Merci pour tout les explications. J'ai copié votre sapin avec du bois de chêne qui était tombé avec la tempête. Il a une seconde vie à travers cette objet. Donc un grand merci. Cordialement
Unlike Ken Harper, I think your use of text instructions on the screen works pretty well. The choice of music was fun and changed often enough to not get old. I also would like to try making one these now. Really fun! Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this video, I really enjoyed it. Especially the details on how to get the off-center parts.and measurements . Thanks again Have a great day
I like how you go ahead and turn the rough shape first. Thatvway you don't have all that top spinning around when you get to step 3, 4, and 5! Awesome tool control as well!🙏
Very clever and beautiful trees, I liked this very much. The on screen text instructions were concise and shown at the right times helping me to understand what was happening. Keep it up. 👍
I’ve done these wind blown trees in the past, but differently. Yes I use multiple points both left and right of centre, but I’ve also used 2 or 3 points on drive end. I still turn a slight cone to start with unlike you who turn both extremities points 1 and 5. I’ll definitely try this method. Instructional notes during video was helpful, but I missed commentary with explanations. Job well done. I’ve also found that harder or more dense timber works better with off centre trees. Thankyou. Just found your video well done and excellent instructions. Looks great when finished. Will put this on my todo list. Should go well here in Canada. Thank you for sharing.
I think a great instructional video. Measurements are a great idea. Maybe include rpm as well for us beginners but I am going to give it a turn. Thanks.
Where did you get that live center. I am thinking that spire type center screw on to a regular one with threads. Plan to try this turning this week with a pointed live center
I agree, great little project. I am on my third try. First two got tangled with the tool and pieces broke. I came back to check on the last measurement for the top. I see you didn't include one for the bottom of it. I will follow the curve of the other pieces. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Joseph and don't give up! My first attempt was also a failure - the top broke when I was sanding it to its final shape. Measurements do not have to be exactly the same, more sections can also be added. After all, no two Christmas Trees are alike🌞 Happy turning!
@@EpoxyWood I have been practicing, a lot of fun and frustration. Fun is when I complete one, frustration is when I'm almost done and it breaks on me. I will be giving a demo at my club on your tree, first ever for me, this Saturday. Hoping I will be successful.

Hi. GREAT video, I really enjoyed it, thankyou. I wondered if you could possibly state the measurements for the 6 section tree, too ?
Bellissimo
Very cleverly done!!! I really enjoyed your video. Makes me want to make some, although it looks a little difficult from my point of view.

one question, with the measurments in your video, what is the over all height of the tree?
