- On February 13, 2017, 13-year-old #AbbyWilliams and 14-year-old #LibbyGerman were reported missing after going for a hike in Delphi, Indiana. Their bodies were discovered in the woods a day later.
After more than five years with no answers, police have arrested a man they believe murdered the teens.

Working with Abby’s grandfather, to see this man’s heart broken can not be described. All coworkers of this respected man felt for him and all family members. I hope today is the day! There needs to be justice for these girls. As a father from Indiana of a teenage girl this completely rocked our entire state. This evil act should make all parents want to give their child a bit of extra love knowing that they are safe and that there are other children that are gone due to evil. Five years of hell hopefully is over!

If Richard Allen is the notorious Delphi murderer of Libby German and Abby Williams, police will have some very difficult questions to answer about why it took them almost 6 years to make an arrest - when their suspect lived just a stone's throw from the crime scene!
What's more, Supt Doug Carter had himself addressed the killer in an early media conference and said: "I believe you are hiding in plain sight". With the arrest of Richard Allen, it seems that statement was absolutely true. So again, why did almost six years pass before his arrest - six years in which that highly dangerous man was free to kill and sexually assault females.
believe it will soon emerge Supt Carter and his detectives wasted time on a red herring, the fake 'Antony Shots' social media account, and bogus murder suspect Kegan Kline who had nothing to do with the double child homicide. Many teen girls are cat-fished by perverts like Kline, alas that's not unusual. But online predators rarely become actual killers - the murders of Abby and Libby in an outdoor, public location during a daytime walk were a massively rare event, and massively against the odds.
May truth and justice finally prevail for Abby, Libby and their poor, devastated loved ones. May all good people who followed this horrific case hold the Williams and Germans up in prayer in the difficult coming weeks and months.

My heart goes out to the families that lost their precious babies. I really hope they got the right person so that the families can get justice for their babies. I have periodically checked up on the status of this case innumerable times over the years since they first went missing and later their remains were found. I hope that Abby and Libby finally receive the justice that they deserve. 🙏🏼 My thoughts and prayers are with Abby’s and Libby’s families and loved ones. Rest in peace Abby and Libby. 💗

I looked at the wife's FB before it was taken down and wondered if the father had inappropriate thoughts about the daughter. The photo of her wedding day with her parents kissing each side of her face turns my stomach. It was just over a year after the murders.
I hope they got the right person this time so these girls can finally get some justice and the families can finally start trying to heal and hopefully start finding some peace. Good job to all of those who have worked so hard on this case ! These two girls deserve this justice!!!

@@digitalsalsas shows like this can harm when they identify suspects as guilty before trial, but they also inform the public of crimes & trials. It's a mixed bag. A lot of people care about this case and the families. So, instead of shaming people for caring or telling them what to do - just educate people about the dangers of shows like these.
I can give an example even, the Madeleine Mccann case. The parents were supposedly guilty according to shows like these and so many have been convinced of that for years and wouldn't hear that there is a good chance that isn't so.

I used to go hiking in the ravines around Ft Sheridan outside Chicago when I was in 3rd and 4th grade for hours. I treasure those memories and the freedom I had.
Well law enforcement wasn’t messing around. They were hiding in plain sight, were local, knew the area and were never arrested before.
Find it hard to believe family members would not know it was this guy after seeing and hearing the video? We all can recognize even from a distance our child or spouse walking. The clothes, the way they hang, their gait, dads blue coat etc….
They've arrested Richard Allen. But that doesn't necessarily mean that Richard Allen is Bridge Guy. Not if there were TWO of them. That explains why the girls didn't simply run. (Libby was concerned enough to risk a video, and BG doesn't look like much of a sprinter.) That "guys, down the hill" has always struck me as odd. Unless you're real familiar with them (your daughter and her friends, your nieces), most adults would call a couple of girls "girls." Unless a male is with them.
Please don't start that bs. It's not fair. Denial is a real thing. Especially when these psychopaths have whole families, wives & kids. U gotta understand they are cunning & manipulative & have had probably all their lives to learn how to present as something & someone opposite of who they are. @@pricklypear7516 No evidence whatsoever there were two offenders involved in the abduction and murder of Libby German and Abby Williams. Police were always very clear they were looking for ONE suspect. And it's thought Libby DID try to make a break for it and run - which is how she, Abby and the killer wound up crossing the creek (the girls' bodies were found on the other side).
A predatory male can easily control two, frightened teens, Abby and Libby were just 13 and 14 years old. The "Guys - down the hill" audio supports the theory he subdued them with threats of a gun/knife, and that's another reason they obeyed him - as most kids would, suddenly faced with that terrifying situation.
The term "Guys" is often used towards children and in fact is exactly the kind of familiar, casual language a predator would use towards child victims, as in "Guys, do this and I won't hurt you". Besides, if he had an accomplice as you suggest, that accomplice is not seen on Libby's cellphone footage, suggesting he was already waiting 'down the hill'! There was no second killer!
Please don't spread misinformation in a case that's already featured much confusion, due to a bungled police investigation. And please don't victim-blame. Libby and Abby were just children, the odds were stacked against them that day and they were unable to escape a powerful adult male with murder in mind. They deserve nothing but praise for their courage in an horrific situation, and the fact Libby courageously shot video and audio of the killer in what turned out to be her final, tragic moments alive. God bless them both - may justice and truth finally prevail. Prayers to the Williams and German families, in the difficult weeks and months ahead.

Of COURSE police referred to a single killer! SOMEBODY did it, obviously. They have played this case close to the vest, and if they suspected more than a single perp, WE would be the last to know. But Kline's involvement was MUCH too compelling to have been mere coincidence. He HAD had contact with one of the girls, so believing that Richard Allen just happened to be in the forest that day and acted on a crime of opportunity is absurd. Shall we count on our fingers, because that's TWO already, and there is "no evidence whatsoever" that there weren't more.
Because, no, unless they were handcuffed together, it's unlikely a single adult could have caught BOTH of them if they had bolted. That's not "victim blaming" -- (where DO you get your goofy accusations?) -- it's common sense. I was a 13-year-old girl at one time, YOU were (presumably) a 13-year-old girl at one time, and panic can be a life-saving strategy.

He said what I was thinking. “They should’ve been able to grow up”. The fact that you can’t just go outside with your friends is sad. I remember riding bikes & going down to the creek with friends and sometimes just my sister and I just so long as we headed home before the street lights came on. We had no worries of danger. Now I don’t even go out to check my mailbox or cut the grass without locking the door behind me out of fear of someone sneaking in & lying in wait to kill me!

I live in Indiana and the suspects name is 50 year old Richard Allen. He live .3 miles away from the girls middle school. He worked as a manager at CVS.
They said on many newscasts and links that the suspect that was arrested is named Richard Matthew Allen
He and his wife and girls live in Delphi not far from Abby and her mom's house and near the schools
They also said that he worked at CVS pharmacy.
He is the town pharmacist!...

I live in Indianapolis and this case is very close to us here in Indiana….I can understand how he slipped by for so long. We are very trusting in small towns, and it probably was hard to look at Richard as a suspect….family man, CVS pharmacy tech…..he just wasn’t on their radar! Glad they have him in custody now. To think his daughter had her picture taken on that bridge is very disturbing! Nancy Grace discussed this, and explained why the investigation took so much time! It wasn’t so easy getting results from DNA…

Not feeling too confident. It always feels like they want to get “someone”. Of course they will catch real nasties along the way. But they need to be really sure. It’s too much suffering for the families to be let down again and again.

What baffles my mind is why someone in the community didn’t recognize him in the photo.
It's hard to explain but in a lot of these small towns ppl look alike. He looks like a typical middle aged Hoosier, dad bod, box store clothing and non distinguishing voice. Most of the time there's one box store in these areas so a lot of people are wearing the same or similar clothing. Everyone knows each other so it may also be hard to imagine another side to someone. Idk.

I think there was a 2nd person waiting down the hill. Thoughts are with both the families on this bitter sweet time. God bless these families. I still don't think so. I believe the murder weapon was a gun and I believe he kept both girls in check by pointing a gun at them. Literally no other murder weapon could have kept both girls subdued. I think he said he would shoot them and that he was going to let them go if they cooperated. Because two people can never keep a secret especially something like this they'll always turn on each other. I will be completely shocked if it turns out there was someone else involved. I think he did this alone and that's why he got away with it for so long
He was a pharmacist so he very well could have had syringes that frightened them as well, or he possibly immediately drugged one of them to keep the other in check knowing most of the time people won't leave their friend in a situation like that. I agree with the other post though, more than one person was there to commit this crime. Theres no way he could have done all of that heinousness by himself.

Pharmacy techs can get a syringe of a narcissistic. They just do it quickly and hide it in their pockets. I'm a pharmacy tech and it's that easy. Especially at busy small pharmacies. Or the lay person can buy a bag or box of empty syringes cheap at any pharmacy. Usually sold for insulin.

Totally agree! I'm in Indiana too and have always wondered the same thing. Small town, video of the suspect, most likely tons of DNA of the crime scene...
Maybe they had DNA and had to do a reverse genealogy since he had never been arrested? Just thinking out loud lol but so grateful for the arrest.

Yes that's exactly what they are doing! They have72 hours to hold him and scare the neck out of him with the death penalty and how it will effect his daughters?....they haven't given him a bond yet is my guess so this is their strategy
I bet they have had his DNA the whole time and just didn't find him until recently,the past year or less is my guess and since he has no criminal record the LE did not have his DNA in the database so someone must have tipped them off to him and they managed to get his DNA by following him and they just want him to confess to take the death penalty off the table and save Abby's and Libbys families from years of court appeals if he gets the death sentence ....life without parole if he confesses but it is him for sure!

I found his wife’s Facebook. Tons of pic photos of him. There’s no doubt it’s the man on the bridge. There’s even a photo of his daughter on the same bridge taken months after the murders. No doubt his family are now victims too
