  • #RichardAllen is accused of killing two teen girls in Indiana of 2017. The case became known as the "Delphi Murders." However, new court filings from the defense claim this was a ritual killing done by Odinists, not Allen. #CourtTV examines the claims that investigators "suppressed" the evidence that connects the religious group.

We had to go home to eat when mom shouted, but we could be a few blocks away or even in the woods and field when Mom called. I do miss my childhood in that respect. (Hope Chris is donating some to suffering family members.) They know all about staging, thank you. Might have invented the term. But, if they say this cult is influenced the murderer(s) my money’s on them. Also there is a comment above about the many in LE in that region involved with the cult, and one of their replies mentions a Nordic celebration that has some chilling similarities. Another person that is a very gifted profiler is Dr. Gary Burgess (violent crime expert working with Ann Burgess, who helped found the BAU yrs ago). He has expressed a concern that the murder scene is not psychologically consistent with RA, and has expressed interest in Logan’s involvement. Again, I would trust his instincts and view well before that of many others. Let’s stay tuned. 😊

    I'm glad Jennifer kind of snaps back and gets things back on track.. not going on these wild tangents that Chris seems to go on.. he's purely speculating, causing some issues in doing so because he is so unwavering in his beliefs. He states everything as fact.. I'm sorry, but im not sure he would have all this "bombshell" info... no one close to the case seems to just let info slip too easily.. while Jennifer also speculates, at least she makes it known its purely speculation.. she also has experience and certain connections that make her a much more reliable guest here.. not just wanting to be in the limelight saying outtageous things.. he often pushes his book which hes so set on RL being bridge guy. Absolutely confident on it...

    He obviously had both undress before anything happened. Probably killed Abby first (quickly) which is why there's minimal blood on her body. Libby would have seen this and fought, realizing his intentions. After the murders, he maybe felt shame/remorse at how young they were and decided to redress them so it wouldn't look like a sexually motivated crime. He put the bigger clothes on Abby and then realized his mistake when he couldn't get the remaining clothes on Libby (her arm stretched upward like maybe he was trying to get a top on her). Maybe he heard people nearby, panicked and didn't have time to swap the clothes so he threw a bunch of sticks and brush on Libby and got out of there. This scenario sounds so much more plausible to me than cult members. Libby recorded one man (wearing hick basic dad clothes and not looking like a cult member about to carry out complicated ritual sacrifice) and one voice - if it was multiple guys involved, wouldn't it make more sense to have two men walking the bridge to subdue two girls? Sadly it only takes one dummy on the jury and these days many people are willing to buy into wild dramatic conspiracy theories before they will believe the most obvious linear story, which is usually the right one 98% of the time. If this was a bunch of cult member guys, I would expect a more complex (less messy/disorganized) crime scene - this all sounds cryptic and 'reaching' - Jose Baez style.

  • @sketch735
    @sketch735 10 місяців тому +8

    There is still so much of this case that doesn't add up. Why were the sticks found at the crime scene not collected until weeks later? The time frame in which the man in custody supposedly committed these murders, undressed and redressed (one of the victims) moved and staged the bodies just seems highly unlikely. And what about the father of Abby's friend (or maybe boyfriend, I don’t recall how he was described) who had posted Odinistic content to his social media including an image with a marking on a tree similar to the one found at the crime scene. Not to mention that one of the girls was speaking online to someone who they later found illegal content involving minors on his computer. This can't simply all be a random coincidence.

Jennifer, on the other hand, is former FBI and I would trust them and the BAU, which was formed by the likes of John Douglas (prolific author and mentally stable!) and Ann Burgess. I also don’t know what the couple meant by RA being a “regular guy”. There is a lot of evidence against him that strongly indicates his involvement, and tho people thought him normal, he was hiding a bunch of child porn! However that is definitely reaching and RA's lawyers are simply trying to create reasonable doubt by relying on people who are rather credulous and don't know much about runes and esoteric or occult practices and traditions. Was he acting in concert with Richard Allen, or with this group of “Odinists”? Perhaps they need to go back to him and question him a little harder.

    “On February 17, 2017, Betsy B provided a description to the police sketch artist of the man she observed from 50 ft away on the Monon High Bridge at 2 pm..she observed a white male, age 20, short curly hair”. She stated this same description twice. And saw him quite close up.
    Another discrepancy: the lady who observed the muddy man never said his jacket was blue, but rather tan, and she never mentioned bloody clothes.

      There’s plenty of stuff in here they can’t be making up though. They can’t’ be making up that the FBI profiled the murderer and wrote a report on it that wasn’t given to them during discovery. And they’re obviously not making up that retired assistant police chief was so concerned that there was more evidence on other suspects that he wrote a letter to the prosecutor and that was also not disclosed during discovery. Prosecutors could be in deep manure for withholding exculpatory information.

      It’s too much of a coincidence that he was connected to the online account that was in touch with Libby right before they set off to the bridge. Did he copy that chat and add it to the Dropbox he was connected to? It appears this is how these rings work. You have to give something to get something, In order to view cp you have to post cp. How many others had access to the Dropbox account? The Vegas trip always raised red flags. If you were looking to sell a physical copy of a snuff film (so your not the one uploading it online) it would seem Vegas would be the place to meet up. Could that be why he googled the gas station near RA house? Was that where the physical copy was handed off? The new details released such as Abby being dressed in Libbys clothes with two bras on are chilling. LE also stated that the investigation into the girls murder uncovered a large pedo ring. Will we ever know the truth?

    I think everyone is overlooking the fact that “Asatru” is only a modern interpretation of Odinism. Looking up Odinism can only give you a mild understanding of the rituals. Asatru is, well compare the situation with the daybell situation. Daybell tried to make his own faction of Mormonism. It was all Daybells interpretation of a major religion. The fact that Westfall was holding worship in his own house instead of an actual Asatru sanctioned place, definitely leaves room for Westfall to add his own flavor on it. Now take that with the info of Libby’s mom dating outside the race, and Abby dating Holders son, and you have a very plausible situation of a dangerous man wanting to show his followers what happens when you don’t take the rules of his gang/religion/rhetoric seriously. The son finds out from Abby that Libby (the son’s girlfriend bff’s) mom has dated outside her race and is defending her friend and her friends mom causing the son to then question a religion his father is fully committed to? Much more plausible then all of a sudden and randomly Richard Allen wanted to be a killer. And all this evidence didn’t come from Richard Allen, it came from the prosecution, so how could Richard Allen frame the crime scene to blame Odinism if he didn’t know what it was?

      @@jeanniesmith3356 There are many reasons to withhold information one is so the police do not let the suspect at large know what they know. It may be that some evidence points to the suspect's profession, or residential radius, or psychological profile. Investigators can use this information to identify the suspect, and if enough information is available, try to predict his or her next move.
      They release enough information to keep the public safe, and so that they can help them with the investigation, but some information that is only known by the police and the perpetrator maintains the integrity of the investigation. It also helps prevent false confessions or when they get a suspect and he or she confesses the evidence matches their confession which should only be known by the perpetrator. Withholding information is a common practice as it should be for all those reasons. Has nothing to do with sloppy police work. If the investigation was sloppy it is obvious and brought up in trial and could cost a conviction due to it.

These groups are often motivated by far-right and white supremacist beliefs. These extremist groups have been known to use Norse symbols and imagery, such as the Valknut or the runic alphabet, to promote their agendas. It's important to emphasize that the majority of Odinists do not hold extremist views and are not involved in cult-like activities. It's weird to offer sacrifice for Odin because he (or whatever pronounce you may use) is supposed to be the guardian of Valhalla, in which he would receive half of the Viking die in battle thru Valkyrie. The only remotely possible way for this is (not saying this is some ritual thing) is that the people who "offered" Abby and Libby are either seeing themselves as Valkyrie, which is the loyal servant of Odin, or those who are under Valkyrie control, but then it would not make sense to offer the girls to Odin to begin with. Because the girl didn't die in battle and those Viking who was sent to Valhalla not died in battle for Odin would be forever stalked by the realm until he/she can proof their worth to serve Odin. There is literally nothing in it for the people who sacrifice the girls, it would have been for nothing.
