It always makes me sad the way the worst of human depravity comes out and the vultures come out and pick off and steal everything that is left of someone’s dignity left on a sidewalk.

I was watching a show called Mayday. It's about real airplane crashes and the people who investigate them. One plane crashed and a few people survived. People started showing up but instead of helping the injured people they started looting the plane, while the dead bodies were still in the plane. It was sickening.
@bd3825 what else would you call it? I don't and won't call it dignity. The way they left that place. Looking like it had never been cleaned. Nope a disgusting mess. Not too mention anything that's infested with any kind of bugs.People just need to leave that stuff alone, it belongs to the people that got evicted.
Seems like paying your rent. Or moving before the eviction would be better. But once it gets to this point and your stuff is on the street, you only have yourself to blame.

It's irrelevant. Guy said it himself; "Once i'm gone...It's the trash mans..." Unclaimed property on the street is a legal "black hole", of which Police stay as far away from as possible...Tenant knew he hadn't paid, and had an opportunity (even in jail), to call someone to get/hold his stuff...

I’ve witnessed two evictions in my 56 years, one neighbors just took her stuff, the second her neighbors took turns standing guard.
I could never do that to someone bc we know not what road we may travel!

I understand what you are saying and I very strongly agree. At the same time, I saw a few large screen televisions and computers that the tenant could have pawned to obtain a few dollars. I don't know how behind they were in their rent, but I would think it is better to sacrifice a few minor luxuries in an effort to maintain shelter. Even those of us in our own houses, may have had to cut back on some things in an order, such as eating out, buying coffee, cable. We live in a world were majority of the people get confused on the difference between luxuries and necessities.
However, the individuals taking the items should have dignity for themselves. I wouldn't want anyone to see me "jumping" onto someone's belongings right as it's put on the street.

I am very fortunate but when I was starting out and had a one room apartment it was immaculate. I prided myself in this and it WAS NOT MINE. The lack of self pride and respect for OPP is stunning.

I have seen peoples belongings out of the sidewalk before. Some had really nice stuff. However you have to remember that these individuals could have a family with kids. Seeing all that they own on the sidewalk has to be one of their lowest points. Don’t make it worse for them. Be kind. Not all people who get evicted are bad

If the guy said you could have his stuff, he would already have given it to you. It wouldn't be there, it would have been at your house.
He knows that. Not his problem. He provides a service for a fee. Once he's gone, it's no longer his problem...The law states HE can't take anything...
A friend inherited a house bought decades ago in an area that was once nice and is no longer. They only make any money with rent, none by selling it. She said that as soon as they take stuff out while cleaning it out, people show up like vultures to carry it off, even the pure junk and garbage.
I was paid to help clear out a house where a lady was evicted. the house had the worst flea and bed bug infestation I have ever seen....even on UA-cam. people were stopping to grab everything even though we told them how bad the bugs were. it was crazy lol

I have said before, and I’ll say it again. No excuse for clutter and filth no more how poor. The way you live says a lot about your character.
In defense for tenant, the bathroom was orderly. The items laying around seemed to be clothes.
I also agree to a point. Now filth or dirt is nasty and I'm not addressing filth, only clutter. I've seen individuals who have great character become so depressed that their home is not dirty, but cluttered. I also struggle with depression and I can tell you that it can work both ways. You can become so impulsive with cleaning or you can get where it is just so difficult to move some days. And hoarding is a whole other issue and it is a MH issue.

Facts they used to have places you could drop your family members with mental health issues off and let them stay there until they got mentally stable! They did this at least 4 times a year at my old apartment complex. Some people would just mysteriously disappear and leave everything inside the unit. They left flat screens, vacuum cleaners, portable washing machines, all types of stuff. After the eviction people left, whoever gets it just gets it.
I live in one of the absolute worst areas of Atlanta. Monthly we have about five evictions and/or "skips." Usually people skipping out will haul whatever they can down to the dumpsters and then also leave a bunch of stuff behind in the apartment too. So there's always an assortment of mattresses, tables, chairs, flat screens, kids bicycles etc, and just bags of junk laying propped up against various dumpsters throughout the complex.
Hint: They didn't just "dissappear"; Typically indicates incarcerarion on charges they cant afford the bail...

#1. He's not a cop. #2. He only explained what he's legally entitled to explain: "Don't touch anything until I'm gone...After I leave, I cant control anything..." Some states require a sherrif to be present on scene; Tenn isn't one of those states. Tenant was well informed he was coming. "You have 10 days to vacate the premisis...On day 11, I will move you out." Probabally waited a week after the 10 days were up...

Sir, I love your videos. Not because I enjoy these people going through an eviction but because of how compassionate but very honest you are with the people being evicted. You tell them the truth when they whine, cry, argue and get belligerent. Pay your rent and you would have been good! I understand your need to hire strong men or women and at the cheapest hourly rate you can but I wish you could find English speaking movers since it puts you at a disadvantage when you can't understand if they are too talking against you or the residence. After having a company that brought 14 non English speaking men to come level our 2 story home while we lived in a travel trailer so we were always right there to make sure no one went upstairs where we had moved a lot of our things to, we found after 4 weeks that the 1 person, a young supervisor, on sight who spoke a little English as well as the other 13 men spoke much, much more English than they let on. It became more and more obvious as we interacted with them all. They were all polite and except for 1 who was creepy and strange, they were all nice, cooperative and respectful.... I think. Since they only spoke Spanish in front of us....who knows what they were saying really. You know what I mean.
Nothing wrong with hiring non speaking individuals as. Long as they do the job and do it well!!! If u feel the way you do about non speaking people , you should not have hired any, sounds like all you did was stand around and watched them, which I am sure was uncomfortable for them also!!!!

Except the folks left are gonna be scrambling looking for loved ones and friends not going in each room like Hello Officer of the Court !! I know the people knew this day was coming, and they had time to prevent it but its still sad to see a lived in place like this were they expect to return HOME to a tv on and the way it was left. I understand though some times when these folks get evicted and they are living pay check to pay check struggling especially under Bidenomics you just cant afford a new place or have a place to put your stuff. Where I live the tenants property cannot be just put on the street. The landlord must hire a moving company to pack and move everything and place the property into a storage unit. The landlord must pay one months rent on the storage unit and provide to the former tenants where their things are located and the key to the lock of the storage unit. Even if the apartment has been abandoned and is filled with junk they still have to do it.
What state has that Law?

Current administration putting more and more regulations on manufacturers that they can't afford to meet new regulations and stay in business. Driving businesses to India, Mexico, etc where businesses can do whatever they want. No pollution regulations over there but American businesses are being choked to death. It's a shame that Americans are trying to clean up the Earth but other countries can do whatever they want.

Maybe i am a maniac by Cleaning the house 3 times a day it sounds crazy but it only takes me 1 hour to vacuum dust map and disinfect my bathroom and kitchen if you do that it won’t be messy never and it easier to keep the house clean and organize specially when you have kids
