    It’s so nice to find a upload with common sense advice rather than a advert for something that costs and is just a hidden blag/advert! Thank you, I’ve been having hot flushes for over 14years now since I had my youngest daughter when I was about 32 I’ve had daily sweats mainly on my face and I end up dripping wet with no makeup left on yet all my bloods are normal except for showing I’m in the middle of the menopause and I’m also suffering from wake up anxiety as well so your video is so helpful to me- you’ve told me more In five minutes than anyone’s ever been able to tell me before ever! I’m a fan , subscribed!

      Omg 14 years why would you put up with it are you a suckered for punishment? ? Mine last 2 months until they were so bad (2 an hour) it was debilitating. I've started medication because otherwise I couldn't function.

    I just triggered a hot flash due to low blood sugar. I hadn’t eaten anything all day and tried to eat something but after taking a bite I realized it was too late. I got dizzy, vertigo, nauseated, hot and started sweating profusely. I had to lay down and turn the AC down to 60 to get my temperature down or I knew what little food I had wasn’t staying down. I wasn’t able to eat and also got a headache. This seems to be the main type I get. The night or day sweats are minimal, unless I’m fatigued and over stressed while trying to get ready for work. It’s mainly just sweating uncontrollably. Thank goodness no headache, dizziness or nausea.

      Hi Marina,

      Yes, this can do; unfortunately, excessive sweating can cause dehydration which in turn can affect the nervous system which can then trigger more symptoms so it can become a vicious cycle!

      You may find a combination of sage and magnesium (150mg twice a day) can be of benefit. Sage is known to help reduce flushes and feelings of doom can often indicate that the flushes are coming from the nervous system and magnesium can be of benefit here.

    Hi I'm not full menopause but close. The flushes are driving me nuts every 20 /30mins during the day is this normal ? and constantly waking me through the night. I am however under under a tremendous amount of stress. Full time carer to my husband who has advanced stages of parkinsons disease and dementia

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  5 років тому

      Hi Paula
      We do know that stress can be a huge factor in menopause symptoms so, in this situation, it is vital to support your nervous system first. I would suggest a combination of the herb Maca (a company called Health Aid do a liquid one which I recommend) and a high magnesium supplement, approx. 200mg twice a day with food. You can also add in the sage as this is specifically for flushes and sweats and usually works quite quickly.
      Also remember to drink loads of plain water; sweats and flushes will dehydrate you very quickly and this in turn will stress the nervous system further making symptoms worse!

    Thank you Eileen. I just turned 41, Can this be perimenopausal? Just started hot flushes with chill later, heat like oven on my back, ear, neck, face like I have been to sauna, super anxious, taken alot of check ups nothing shows medically, this all started in April. I feel nauseated and anxious while the heat is rising and I dont know what to do. Feeling so tired, sick, worried. I had d&c - molar pregnancy in Feb before this happens. My armfit sweat so much which I have not experience before. Trying to calm myself with Escitalopram too. Thyroid are normal, heart, bp are normal except I have gerd. And I suspected premenopausal. Just bought Black Cohosh yesterday after researching reliefs for this. Can I combine Magnesium supplement and Black Cohosh? What else can you recommend?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Dioza
      Although you are a little young to start the menopause, this can happen for some women. It's often hereditary, so if other close female relatives started around this age then it is possible.
      Yes, you can take Black Cohosh and magnesium together. Also check that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day and eating little and often as dehydration and low blood sugars can trigger all these symptoms as well!

      Hi Melissa
      Have you tried the herb sage as this can often help with flushes and sweats? For the cough, you may find a Sea Buckthorn Oil supplement helpful - oestrogen can dry the throat, leading to constant coughing. Remember to drink lots of plain water as this can often help too.

      Although heavy prolonged periods can be quite common on the approach to the menopause, they are not good for you and can quickly cause anaemia. It is wise to consult your doctor as they may be able to give you something to stop the bleeding and also check that other issues such as fibroids, polyps or even a prolapse are not contributory factor.

    Good day, just want to ask my head aches almost every day is it normal on a menopausal stage?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Bina
      Headaches are common in the menopause and often caused by fluctuating oestrogen levels. You may find Menopause Support helpful, as this is traditionally used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen. It also contains magnesium which is great for muscular tension headaches.
      Stress and dehydration can also be contributory factors, so make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day. Tea, coffee, and fizzy drinks don't count and are best avoided in the menopause anyway (they can trigger hot flushes in some women).
      Headaches can, however, be caused by other factors not associated with the menopause, so do get this checked out by your doctor as well.
