You forgot a character, Cheese.
You know Cream's Chao, the one that is an absolute menace in the advanced games. Yeah, he and Cream have a weird thing where sometimes they are a package duo, and other times, they are not. Like in Sonic Battle, Cheese is part of Cream's moveset but in Rumble (from what we've seen) it seems like Cream is going solo, therefore meaning they have different scores and thus should be seperate characters.

Speed Sim and Speed Battle still get continual updates, and we actually know about 2 characters that are coming soon to these games!
Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 is coming to Speed Battle soon, making him a two timer.
Gemerl is coming to Speed Sim too, marking his first playable appearence ever! (Not just in a spinoff)
Really great video though! Just find it interesting how its gonna be outdated so quickly now that you've opened the floodgates to the gacha-like titles.
Update 1: Sonic Rumble was announced and has Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Big, Cream, Espio, Vector, Charmy, Silver, Blaze, Jet, Metal Sonic, Eggman, Zavok
It got a new trailer a bit ago and silver is playable as well
It is said in the video that Mach 3.0 is only playable in Speed Sim. He was introduced in the Metal Madness part 2 event of 1.0 version.
Also @alolanfigment9822 today sega announced that a knight version of tails is getting into sfsb or it could be the blacksmith the one timer from satbk but they say it’s not the blacksmith so that means it’s a new charter so a new one timer also burning blaze is coming to speed battle

I guess it wasn’t counted due to its much smaller roster?
Its because it didn't have any head to head multiplayer outside of online leaderboards, like i said in the rules section

I've been playing so much Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers lately that I genuinely kept going "oh, this character makes another appearance in ring racers, where are they on the list?" and then I remember that it's a fan-game, lol.
My favorite Sonic characters are Metal Sonic, Emerl and Gamma, and while Metal can generally be a reliable character, Emerl and Gamma barely make any appearances and on one hand it makes me sad, but also, both of them are canonically dead and bringing them back would make them less special, so I want more of them but I also entirely get it, lmao.
I'm surprised E-102 Gamma or E-123 Omega doesn't appear in Robotnik Ring Racers...despite Big the Cat and Shadow + Rouge also being there.

If we want to be technical, Metal Sonic 3.0 was KIND OF playable in Sonic Rivals 2, his debut, but only as a skin for Metal Sonic along with a "Metal Sonic 2.0" who is literally just Metal Sonic's head on 3.0's body.

Even though that's obviously not gonna happen, I think the characters in Sonic Rumble should have their own 2 abilities, 1 to boost their speed and the other to trap/slow down other players, and perhaps a third passive ability as well.
For example Sonic has Boost (Speed) and Homing Attack (Attack), Knuckles has Dig (Speed) and Fire Punch (Attack)...
And another thing I think it should have is character types, Speed, Power, and Flight (obvious), Technique, All-Around/Balanced, Tank, and others.
For some reason, I felt you just should have covered all the games, and not truncated it to just multiplayer appearances. Many characters like Omega would have had 1-2 more appearances, and I wonder how many more 1 off characters we would have had. Games from Adventure to 06, Sonic Runners, even the other racing games.
Kinda wild how Dark Brotherhood isn't included, considering it has about 11 playable characters.

Sadly Marine doesn’t make any playable appearances in any of the sonic spinoff titles, though she does have a mii costume in a couple of the Olympic Games

Sonic Speed Simulator may not be developed by Sonic Team or Sega, but it was made in association and licensed by Sega of America, and is officially recognized as an entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise
Think of it like when Sega lets Dimps or some other studio make a Sonic game, those are still Sonic the Hedgehog games
