Tails Adventure has always legitimately seemed like a really cool idea for a Sonic spin-off, a Metroidvania-style game with the speed and abilities of Tails could correlate to interesting puzzles or bosses, which we do definitely see in the game itself.
I think it'd be cool if they tried that style of game again but polished a few of the kinks out and made the game much faster, but still quite long.
This is basically the thought I had the entire time I played it for this video. I kept thinking to myself, "If this were a better designed game, I would adore this game." It's so different from mainline Sonic, for a character that suits the style. It can be fun in its own right, within the universe but starring a completely different character too.

@@Charriii5 I also appreciate this game for being one of the only Sonic games that actually takes use of Tails being an inventor, I really wish more Sonic games used his more inventive side for more than just a running gag.
I think a cool way to do another game like this is to have the ability to just switch between all of your tools with the shoulder buttons, but the main collectibles would be "Junk"; wires, scrap metal, cranks, etc, which Tails can use to make a new invention.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet. But I kind like the fact they use Mint Candy as a way to refill Tails' stamina, as it appears to Tails' favorite "thing/snack"

That ending was so creepy with the lack of music and two Charriii's talking. Or rather it's a conversation between Charriii and Nahum.
I want to remind you something about Soul Star. The day that you were revealing the demo (if I remember correctly) was October 5th 2021. The same day that Sora was revealed for Smash. And I want to remind you of what Sakurai said "I suppose if you keep working on something, someday it'll be complete"
That ending surprised me. It's just sad that most people only come to your Mario and Sonic stuff EWWs, which sucks cause I really like your comic streams, and my favorite EWW you made was Wonderful 100. Regardless, keep up the good work and I hope nothing but good things for you.

I almost feel bad answering the question now considering how the video ends, but I would love to see a spinoff game featuring silver! He's such a unique character with a very interesting gameplay style, and while his reputation was well... destroyed from square 1, there's still a lot they could do with him.
They never really explain how silver arrives in the modern era, His 2nd mainline appearance was generations and I expect him to be a recurring character considering forces, so maybe trying to explain how he's here would make a good concept for a game!
The IDW comics are picking up the slack in storytelling, so hopefully we'll see something resembling that level of depth in the main media someday.
But yeah I'd like to see a Silver game too.
@@alejjtheninja5803 "Picking up the slack," you say. IDW is more concerned with Sonic and his principles then actually doing stuff with secondary characters. They're more focused on the OCs.
@@sonicstar917 True that is what they've mostly been focusing on, but they still make each character a lot more in-depth and fleshed out, even if they don't always have the spotlight. I mean, if a game came out with the exact characterisation of IDW it would be the best kind of whiplash the series has seen for their characters.

I always fought it like that.
So it is intended, just not in the way you do it as you would be on the other side of the breakable blocks behind it, using remote bombs to destroy it.
I would be so happy if Amy Rose got a spin-off of her own, since Sonic Team doesn’t pay enough attention to her. My idea is that the game will be a hack-and-slash, like games such as Ninja Gaiden Black and Devil May Cry. There could be a world to explore in the scale of those games, with a bit more platforming involved, and of course, it has to be difficult. Amy could probably wield variations of her hammer and even new ones. I just wanna see Amy shine in the spotlight!
@Zookeeper’s roblox adventures yeah, but it was small, online, and not many knew about it. Even less so than the games featured on this video.

Growing up can be hard. While it has its pros and cons, most of the time the cons outweight the pros... I feel nothing short of empathy for you, but I can promise you... it's gonna be alright. Just because things may look dark now, doesn't mean that they'll keep being that way from this point on... I had to learn that the hard way. We've all gone through rough times again and again but in the end we always pulled through no matter what. So I just want you to know that what you do is greatly appreciated, and I know that that may not help in the grander scheme of things, but it's all I can give in this point in time. Geez, that ending… Yeah, I didn't join the comics streams, mainly because of issues regarding my personal life too, but I did really enjoy that day you were reading the Issues 80 to 82.
Like, I'm kind of a Fleetway Super Sonic fanboy, and I never read the rest of the comics except for interesting Issues involving Fleetway Super so I really enjoyed that day you were reading those issues. I even clipped that moment.
And let me tell you about how hard the whole Soul Star thing hits me. I just finished school and I'm working my way hard to become a game dev too, and… I don't wanna go deeper on this, but the point is: I understand you.
But let me tell you another thing: As you said in your Tetris April Fools video last year, you are NEVER alone. There's always someone up above, willing to ease your life, plus the people who actually care about you. And I hope you can get through with whatever you're going through in your life with all of this help, really.

It’s been a tough weekend, and the ending kind of reminded me of the feeling of loneliness, just alone with your thoughts. Besides that though, the video was great, and the streams are great fun, so you definitely got something good going here.
Love the original thumb nail you made for this man, always love how you go out of your way to make original created fan art TNs and not just existing art from the games. Talent and effort like that does not go unnoticed. We really appreciate it man, keep it up
The ending resonated with how I feel about content creators: that they have so many things they like and want to do, however most people only come for one thing, and not the entire person. While I'm not there for every stream you've done for the Sonic Comics, I've enjoyed seeing the little bit I've seen. I like seeing your reactions to them and they've been insightful for me as someone who wants to my own web comic at some point. I may not be able to watch everything you put out, but I appreciate what you've done from Everything Wrong With, to Everything I Love About, and to Soul Star; you're a great guy with wonderful ideas and shares them openly. I think that if SEGA did any other character specific spin-offs then it would be interesting to get to know that much more about both Blaze and the Sol Dimension. It would be nice to see what other things could be hidden or undiscovered in her dimension just like how there always seems to be something new to find and do in Sonics dimension.
Sonic Wacky Worlds was legit one of my favorite games as a kid. I'd spent hours making little stories with the characters and making increasingly goofy scenarios out of the settings with my sister. Kinda makes me wanna play it again somehow.
The ending could’ve also been relating to how UA-cam is hounding on content creators and wanting them to turn what they found once fun, to something more focused on making others happy rather than yourself. To work for money and not just for fun. Which, yeah, you can make money and have fun at the same time.
But it’s not worth it if you’re not happy doing what you love. Whether it be making videos, making video games, or drawing art. Charriii your videos amaze me and you amaze me. Your voice, your comedy, your thoughts, ideas, and Soul Star all make me so happy. But what’s most important is, does it make you happy to do this? Don’t force yourself to only make content others want. Don’t ignore your interests and ideas you want to put out there. You matter most, your mental/emotional/physical health matters. Please take care of yourself, may you be able to pay off the mortgage, and stay awesome 🙏🏾💙.

I'd love to see a spin-off with Silver the Hedgehog, it would be a platformer that utilizes his psychokinesis to destroy enemies and clear puzzles. It'd be like mixing a Sonic game with Legend of Zelda

I think the reason they repainted Puyo Puyo was because the game had so many references to Japanese culture and mythology, that they didn’t think localizing it was a worthwhile task.

I really love Dr. Robotnik’s Bean Machine so much! I played this multiple times. And I’ve beaten the whole game multiple times! And even the other bean machine one as well. And I love that all the robots from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog are there. Especially Scratch, Grounder, and Coconuts. Since there the main robots in the show. And Coconuts is my favorite robot.
Decap Attack is one of the most ironic examples to use, since it's specifically a retooled anime game to remove all anime influence. I think you partially don't understand how niche anime was in the early 90's. It wasn't on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network (which barely even existed yet), nor any other major network. It wasn't until Pokemon that it exploded as an accepted alternative to cartoons. It was generally viewed as "weird" by most western people because all the tropes like SD character design were literally completely foreign to the west as a whole. Examples like Shining Force and Phantasy Star mostly reinforce this view; look at the American box art for those titles. They were basically Conan the Barbarian designs, as were 99% of other games with anime aesthetics.
I really appreciate all the videos you made and I'm glad you are still around after all this time. Your videos are amazing and an inspiration to me. I hope you continue to be yourself, be safe and rest whenever you need to.

Hey man, I know I haven't watched your comic stream at all, but I think it's a really cool thing you're doing. You're allowing fans to read the comics for free on UA-cam, whether they watch it now or later can't be determined, but keep it up :) I want to watch the streams, they're a bit long for me atm so I'm waiting to have more time but it's definitely something I'm looking forward to!
There are a lot of Sonic characters I'd love to see spin-offs for. A Big game with a fishing focus, a sequel/remake of Tails Adventures (loved that game so much in Gems Collection!), maybe even a Chao Garden focused game starring Cream, maybe with the ability to talk to Chao and take on special quests for them.

Man, that ending made me wanna give you a hug bro, ngl. If it helps, I'm certain there's some kind of middle ground on whether to do stuff that pays, and stuff you want to do. Because all of one or the other isn't the really the best thing imho, especially if the stuff that pays isn't something you enjoy as much as you used to, or at all. I think you've just gotta find a balance that works for you. Apologies if this didn't help at all, but I just... Wanted to give my 2 cents on this. Because of any UA-cam channel owner or person at the forefront of one that's dealing with this kinda stuff, you're the last one I'd want to see in that position Charriii. You're a funny, kind and overall amazing guy from what I've seen of you from streams, UA-cam videos, twitter, etc., And you've definitely helped others in their own times of need, or just some some kind stuff that universally seemed to be a boost for some people, like the whole several minute thing on Suicide in the Shadow video all those years ago as a very touching example of one. It just, makes me sad I guess that such a great dude who just cares so much, and wants to be able to create things he enjoys has to be stuck between a rock and a hard place like this. I hope you can find your balance for this kinda stuff man.
On a lighter note, for the spinoff question in the credits, I think a cool idea could be a Chaos themed Chao Garden game, because the Chao Gardens were cool, and I think not only bringing them back, but tying it to Chaos, the character arguably most connected to them, who also doesn't appear in main series games much despite being a fan favourite, would be a cool idea. Either that or maybe a Silver game to come full circle to have all 3 of the main playable hedgehogs in the series (Sonic, Shadow, Silver) have their own dedicated games for them.
12:12 According to the FANDOM wiki (which appears to require you to register to edit as vandalism prevention measure), Page 7 of the Japanese manual calls it The Island of Miracles, which Eggman turned into the Neutronic Egg Zone. See, it also mentions on pages 4-5 it says that the island that was created by the power of the Master Emerald pillar and that Eggman found a ring with ancient text that mentioned a power _stone_ before the pillar's energy split a larger into the Chaos Rings which he figured could help him get the Master Emerald because I guess he figured the "power stone" _was_ the Master Emerald at which point he converted the island into the Neutronic Egg Zone.
I believe in you Charriii, I’ve looked up to you for years. I too am working on some things, things I’ve put to the side and have said “eventually” to as well. But one thing I do know, is the future will only be what we work for it to be. You’ve got this, you’re immensely talented, and I cannot wait to see how great everything turns out. I do adore the EWWs but I stay around for two wonderful things. Your creative mind and how fun and nice you are unscripted. I think that can be said for a lot of us. I’m late to the video because I had to deal with a lot of personal demons the last two weeks… I don’t usually comment much but I almost feel bad because I did start following you obviously for the EWWs, it was just part of the algorithm for UA-cam. I may have came for those videos but I stayed because I genuinely love your videos, no matter what kind of video. I feel bad for missing streams and getting to interact with you and all the other amazing people and fans of the channel. I love your speed painting vids because I love art, I’m not good at it, but I appreciate art and any other creative outlet. The Inktober videos are also some of my favorite because I love horror movies and creepy pasta stuff (though I grew out of that phase) but most of all I love the videos where you show your true self and that vulnerability you show is something me and a lot of other fans can relate to and empathize with and it makes me feel almost closer to you in a way? I don’t really know how to explain it but it makes me appreciate all the hard work you put into that much more. Maybe not as much time as you used to, maybe it feels like it might be time to give up on your dreams, but many of the best things for people took years to take place, it's not worth quitting if you still want to do what you've been wanting to do. UA-camrs go through rough times, they get less views and watch time and all that, but there are still people who care, those 1,000 people who watch every video, and stream, and short, and read every post, who will always support no matter what. I'm not one of those with that iron will, but I want the people I like to be happy too, to do well, cus they deserve it. So just keep trying, keep fighting, maybe there need to be big changes you're afraid to make, maybe small ones that never occurred to you and maybe you just need to keep doing what you're doing, wading through the long marsh till you reach the other side. I care about the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. After Sonic Frontiers, there's nothing I want more than to learn the lore in the comics, but 2+ hours is incredibly intimidating when we don't know what or how much is covered.

That's been my reason for staying away from the comics. I'm a quiet subscriber, but I've been around a long, long ass time. My hypothetical side-game of choice: A Fire Emblem-adjacent game starring Blaze the Cat as the chosen warrior. Every so often, the player receives hints from Silver about the BBEG's secrets. But the hints don't make immediate sense, because he's constantly popping in from different points in the future and isn't necessarily giving them in our chronological order.
I kinda love this one. Usually people go the Sonic Rush route with Blaze, or the puzzle-platformer route with Silver, but an RPG where they're both lords sounds pretty cool!

I knew with the mean bean Machine starting us off at the beginning was gonna have the end sentence of somewhere along the lines of his famous quote, made me laugh so much. Overall it was awesome to see these spin-offs, I never played these when younger but often heard about them, it was cool to see them and get made fun of a little, heh.
As for the question.. I think I’d like to see something with Silver, maybe get something a little lore/story based of how his Future became the apocalyptic world he lives in. Basically of what life was like before disaster struck, cause boy howdy did the city look like a total wreck with lava being all over the place in Sonic 06, maybe even getting to see how Blaze got to meet him too since they seemed to have known each other for a long time in 06.
Now for the ending of this video.. It’s hard pleasing people, you can’t always win them all. But at least you can win over some of the people, I might not be always there for your streams since I honestly forget most times (So sorry about that-). But I try to still check them out after they’ve been streamed! I remember I was able to make it to one of your streams on it, I really got a kick out of the voices you did, your voice acting is probably one of my favorite things to hear/see you do. British Sonic still through me in for a loop, haha.
In summary though, keep doing what you’re doing man! It might be hard getting more views and what not, but what’s important is the people that came, they’re the ones who really care about what you do whether it’s popular or not. Don’t stop and keep pushing Forward! Stay Safe and Stay Awesome! ^^

That ending bit hits hard, it is kinda demotivating staying so much time in a certain position thinking that you're not making progress or getting numbers, but if there's ever a thing that can help feel like the opposite (or even straight up finishing the job) is the support from other people. And my answer to the question, easily Blaze. She's not only my favourite Sonic character, we know nothing about the Sol dimension in games besides the islands from Rush Adventure, and Frontiers feels like her type of gameplay with some mid range combat included on the mix

Funfact about Sonic and Tails in Chaotix, they were originally going to be in there. Mighty was Sonic and then there's 10 * who is Tails. Loading up 10 * crashes the game. Unless you play a beta and edit it to fix that crash. In that beta tails can still fly but uses knuckles sprites because Tails sprites are obviously gone.
I watched this a few hours after watching the sticker star video, and the tails adventure segment gave me deja vu
