Schott Perfecto 118 & 618 black leather jacket differences

- I've made this video to try and show some of the differences between the Schott Perfecto 118 and the Schott Perfecto 618; when I was trying to choose between the two I found it hard to decide which to go for, and ended up with both!
Some of the information online can be a bit unclear, and there are lots of opinions on fit and sizing; hopefully this might help someone.

Maybe it's just me but the 118 loosk way too big on you. I'am myself only 170cm tall and go for the 32/34 size on my 618. I like the old school ramones fit.
I really like the first jacket for how dang good it looks but I can already tell that I wouldn't like how short it is
The long sleeves is for reaching over the bars
I think I now see 118 in the stitch of the label. Do you know how I can tell what year?

Hey man, love the jackets ! such an all time classic. I'm planning to buy my first Schott leather jacket and I'm interested in buying the PER22 model. Are you familiar with this model ? I'm also about the same height as you are but I'm still thinking which size to buy. They said it's better if I take size XS based on my body measurements but I don't want it to be that tight and can still put a bit of layers inside. Can you give your suggestion on this ? It would be really helpful, thanks man !
Hi Tom! Very nice video and thank you for posting the review! I have a question about the collar, it looks pretty small from their website and from other carriers; however, the collar look very big on the models that you put on. does the collar size gets increase while the more you wear it? i personally prefer the larger collar on the jacket just like the one you were wearing.
Great video -- really helpful. I've got a Schott 118 and it fits great but I've always wondered how the 618 would fit and am glad I got the 118. I've also got a Schott Per1, which is also a Perfecto-style jacket but in brown and with quite a different cut -- somewhat longer and a bit more tailored. Schott makes fantastic jackets.

I've been saving to buy one it's the best quality money can buy ,i have one i got back in 1981 and still looks good but i got bigger and need a new one
The 118 has the naked cow hide. Not quite sure what they mean, but it has their highest standard for leather grading. They are great jackets and glad i bought it! 😎

@PERFECTOLAD Nice review - I am looking to get one of these myself. im 6'2, broad shouldered, and dont ride at all, but love the style. I prefer a softer feel, not super thick as i dont need it for armor purposes. However, im thinking the length should be 28' since im tall.
