Kombi Life may I ask, why arnt y all staying together?? Seems a bit tugging on heart strings to me. Anywho love the show and hope there is more. Thanks
When you go there, it won't last long. The ferry trip up was fun. Did it June and watch humpbacks and bald eagles. Started out on processors and finished on tenders. Boiled milk sucks and groceries are expensive. AC stores are cool though. If you visit, gotta go to Kodiak. And most people are pretty cool up there. Although if anyone invites you to their cabin, RUN !!!
I got some flue, and in last two days being at home, in my bed, I manage to watch all of your 5 seasons of adventures. Amazing stuff. Unbelievable stuff. I can't wait for your new video. Keep on good work.
I love the Ketchikan video... I wen5 in the 70’s, as a little girl, and remember the fellows running up the poles. Fond memories I’d lost. Cousins live on a small yacht in Vancouver and visiting them was one of my favourite holidays.
I believe the harness you had on was backwards, we have always hooked to the back ring. Under the right conditions, fall hight ect. If you fall, the ring in front will snap your back. Try to hook the d ring between shoulder blades. Also, get a full harness with leg straps. Best of luck....
One thing about sailing you might like to know (if your skipper hasn't told you), and that is, there are two kinds of sailor, those who have run aground, and those who are going to. Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventure. As a sailor I enjoy seeing your land-based journey, but you guys taking to a boat is quite special. Thanks again.

Kombi channel is now a sailing channel 😉😉 Please take care we are still recovering from Peter in Australia he sank. You can have a location on your phone and if you move an alarm goes off. That what I heard!
Great video guys! Really hope you ditch the van and get a boat and start traveling on the water for a change! Ah, to be young, without children again...
sorry matemi did missing some of your great adventure videos , but how can you're on a sailing boat? where is the combi.... I'm Brazilian from England (Bournemouth) Dorset... it's always great to catch up with you guys... keep it up!
Outdoor Nut I've watched every episode :-) I've also watched many sail8ng channels. It's no different except when you put the word 'marine' in front of the word screw, the screw is three times the price.
Hi guys, I am planning to sail the inside passage next summer, what's the ratio of motoring to sailing you reckon is possible in there? It doesn't look like there would be much wind. Thanks!
You'll find out first via Instagram or our Facebook page, there we release previews of upcoming videos. thanks for the kind offer but as minimalist nomads we are rarely in a position to be able to accept gifts, I know, even at Christmas - it's sad isn't it :)

If you sail down desolation sound (in between vancouver island and the main land) make sure to check out Savary island
Watchiong the transition from land to water is really interesting. I'm curious to see some of the other stresses aside from sea sickness!

Terrific!
Anchoring gets less scary as you get more experience anchoring and get a bigger anchor. ;)
Cool stuff. I wonder if VW makes sailing boats?
I wouldn't sail in one if they did. Have you seen all the problems he's had with his?!
Outdoor Nut I've watched every episode :-) I've also watched many sail8ng channels. It's no different except when you put the word 'marine' in front of the word screw, the screw is three times the price.
+Paul Hitchman For screws I can understand, they have to be stainless. For some other parts it is just stupid.
Every episode makes me happy and sad at the same time. All good thing come to an end I guess. What will the next aventure be??? Thanks guys
10:10 dumb way to fix the jib. should have furled it nearly all in first, to fix the sheet.

Loved the Narrows timelapse, wish it was a bit slower though
Does anyone know what model sailboat that is
Hi guys, I am planning to sail the inside passage next summer, what's the ratio of motoring to sailing you reckon is possible in there? It doesn't look like there would be much wind. Thanks!

Woah.
Youre in US waters, with the canadian flag over the American flag. Major nono
Piss off the wrong coast guard cowboy or customs officer.
Lololol, bet that vid will NEVER make it online from any source
First
Why didn't you just drop the sail, then re-tie the knot, this would have taken the stress and strain out of the work.
Previous seasons were way better
glad you enjoyed them
Gracious and clever reply to Sebastian!
