...in my opinion your the best Vlogger on UA-cam Ben...unlike other youtubers your very original, producing content that nobody else is doing...not only are your videos pleasing to the eye your educating us on parts of the world we can only dream of...👌🏼...all your hard work is evident in the quality of your videos guys...Bravo Ben & Leah...👍🏻
Ben, Leah, and Alaska, I have been subscribed to your channel for about 2 weeks now and have just finished watching every episode of Hasta Alaska (some episodes more than once) and I am at a loss for words. I have never commented on a youtube video before and this comment might get a little too long... but I just wanted to give you guys a big THANK YOU. As a teenager who lives in a small town with the big dream of one day leaving, the three of you (and everyone else who has been part of the Kombi Life) have pushed me to finally go out there and see the world. Because of you guys I have come to the decision to take a year between high school and university to go and experience the world in my own car (it may not be the Kombi but hey it's 4 wheels that's good enough for me). The fact that you guys take the time to document your travels and adventures on the road is...is... I don't even know what it is but somehow you make it possible for your personalities to shine through the screen. I have watched the other "travel youtubers" since coming across Kombi Life and none of them even closely compared- your film quality and liveliness is infectious and only makes me (and I bet other people who watch this channel) want to see the world and experience all the fun and the hardships you guys have been through. From the desert storms to the relationships we have all seen you go through, it's amazing to see how one man from a small island in Europe got to meet so many interesting people who live life in a way that is completely foreign. If only I could join you on the road, that would be a dream come true, I'd never leave! But sadly I don't know what you guys are doing now that the last episode of Hasta Alaska is coming out soon. I hope it is not the end of your travels and I know Kapito is soon to be no longer in your possession but even though I will possibly never get to embark on a journey as amazing and terrible as yours was, it amazes me to know that you spent the past ( I dont even know) 6 years? 4 years? on that vw bus. What you guys get to do/ experience is extremely uncommon, and of course you know that, and I admire you three for all that you do. I don't even know how to wrap this up (or if you'll take the time to read this) but just remember (even in the worst of times) we're all out here watching you (so no pressure) and we're supporting you through everything. :)
I have just discovered this channel couple of days back and I am hooked. I have been binge watching the entire adventure and getting goose bumps to the amount of challenges and problems you have come over ... Wow
Even though I can't travel that far you always drive me or swing me up to the places you visit. I really appreciate the hard work you put into this long journey guys. Every time I watch one of your videos you always make me want to go out ant meet out the world. Thanks you're a life saver. ♥️ From California
I have so enjoyed your adventures in Alaska. In about 1966 we could only drive as far North as Circle City. We were flying the BP geologists around the North side of the Brooks range. They were looking for oil before the pipeline. I worked for Rick Helicopters also as Alaska Helicopters. What a great experience I had ! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
How Super Awesome, this place is almost magical & breathtaking at the same time! I would love to check in for a few weeks of exploration & relaxation! Thank you for sharing all your adventures with us, love you guys & happy trails! 🐎🐴🐕🐺🐶🐂🦌🐐🐾🐾🐾🐾
Welcome, it really is a good read. Tomorrow we'll receive our less interesting but vandwelling van, got a lot of idea's from your series. Keep up the good work!!!
What an amazing journey. I am from Alaska myself and a year ago travelled down the AlCan to Washington, and that was a heck of a trip. So I can imagine how unbelievable your trip is. If you are ever travelling back through Seattle, I'd love to share a beer with you.
Hey guys! Thanks so much for these videos, they are really amazing! So much that I have built up my own van and am starting to travel with it, what an inspiration you guys have been.
Take a trip across Canada down in to the US and all the way through every state. Then visit Hawaii, go around all the islands you can and on Kauai hike into Kalalau valley and spend several nights there. You'll need a special permit for that but it would be an awesome adventure. And when through the SF Bay Area next time, pick up the sponsorship that is just waiting for you here... You guys don't realize how big you can be. Your show is awesome!
I'll be so sad when this Series ends :( I follow your Adventure from the very beginning and I just Love it. Very inspiring! Btw I Love listening to your Voice :D
Going to Hope in the next episode?! So excited to see. I was fortunate enough to live there as a small child and have such fond memories, I love seeing glimpses through youtube.
Woo Who!!!! What an adventure!! I can't wait for the next installment. I know the Minimal Millennials are going to be planning an Alaska trip soon. I suggested that they reach out to you. FYI
Unbelievable tide surfing. So beautiful. Thank you for taking bus along! You just earned your next Sub. Hope to be van living soon with my two dogs. Cheers.
Lahhhst tyyme on Haster Alasker....hahah. Another outstanding video from you Ben. Top Notch in every way. Thanks so so much for putting all your hard work into keeping this series extremely entertaining.
I didn’t get to see little Miss Alaska! But the beautiful places you’ve been too. Sorry you didn’t get to see Denali. The week I was in Alaska I think we saw it and every day. I didn’t see the Kenai though. You’ve got such high quality videos and I know you have to put a lot of time in them and it shows. Your channel is one of the few I cant wait to see the next one!!! Happy trails.
I'll tell you what bud, you're no dummy. You picked the right girl up on your travels. What a sweetheart. And you guys make a great team. Hope you grow old together!
I feel honored you guys captured Alaska so well, being born and raised in Southcentral Alaska. Also being a Alaska Native, I love that you guys featured a part of Alaska, up north, a community/people that is often forgotten and overlooked. Did I hear a hint of you both looking into the possibility of living here long term?
AWESOME GUYS. EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER WANTED TO DO, YOU ARE DOING IT. FROM CHILE TO ALASKA. AND NOW WITH THE MOST PERFECT WOMAN IN THE WORLD TO DO IT WITH, LEAN. DAMN BEN YOU ARE SO BLESSED.
Ben, its got to be so difficult for you making such beautiful tourist promotion videos knowing that for some time you were banned from entering the US. Fantastic work on this video
can you please make a movie!! with unseen footage and make it super long. make it about your whole trip from start to finish in order. very detailed! even if it has to be 2 or 3 continued movies!
Talk about yin and yang☯it was heart warming to see the inner workings of that VW, again.😉🔩🔧🛠🔨I wonder if AAA is of Some use to you?🤔 Some really impressive footage.✌🆒
I came across this channel when I saw a video about the Panamerican highway. I found the video when you summarised the first 3 seasons. After that I binge watched season 4 and no joke on the day I finished it the first episode of season 5 came out. So I watched everything from season 1 to season 3. Now I'm wondering how many episodes are left from season 5? Also what are your plans after finishing the series? Keep up the good work man!
You're true inspiration for lots of people (including me :D). I think you have way more cooler life than richman with bilards of dollars and super cars. Stay posivite and cool. Polish fans sends their regards :D
There are 2 Magic buses. The original one is hard to reach - because of river like in the movies and its here 63°52'5"N 149°46'8"W, there is 2nd one not so far away from the 1st made specially for the movie. Both are simmilar :)
Only 3 more episodes left of Hasta Alaska - can't wait to share the finale with you!
Kombi Life what comes next?
Very excited for them!
No!
