Yea he was the ONLY reason I was watching it in the first place. I was so upset when Lex Luther killed him. I really wish he played a bigger part in the crossover than what he did.
Now the only thing that we can hope for now is if that superman show with him is true the post-crisis series that is unlimited that will go on either the CW or HBO Max. Also guys, this is a rumor.
Hearing Brandon talking about his final days on this current season of Legends of Tomorrow, it's sounding so much like Stephen Amell talking about his final days/scenes on Arrow/The Crossover from the podcast a few weeks/month back. So sad to hear two actors both now saying their final days on shows they put so much time and effort into over the last several years were not fun or enjoyable and their final hours on set were unpleasant and not just because of the scenes/material they were filming. I wonder if the show producers and the network need to take a bit of a look at themselves and make some changes not to treat their actors so badly in their final days. I'd hate to sit hear in a few years time and hear similar stories from Grant Gustin or Melissa Benoist when their shows end, or any other lead or major actors from these "Arrowverse" shows. It was also very funny to hear how similar Brandon Routh is to Henry Cavill, both big gamers and nerds who got to play Superman, and who both have kind of been shit on by the studio and not got to really play the role they dreamed of.
that gives me the sads. brandon is such a great guy (and so is stephen) and to hear them leaving on a bad note from these shows that they were a part of for so long. they deserve better.
@HydroBro I haven't watched it myself yet but the podcast with Stephen is on this channel from a month ago. You might find out what happened with him there. I'm listening to it after this one. :-)
HydroBro Stephen had issues filming scenes because of issues with how the Crossover was filmed and how some of the main stars had contracts that meant they could only be on set for a certain number of hours before they had to return to their own shows. This meant there were times he was on set for hours waiting to film scenes with not a lot else he could do. Then when it came time to film some of his most important scenes and especially his characters final scenes, the actors he had been expecting to work with and act with were then not available to shoot the scenes because they’d used up all their hours. So then Stephen is having to act scenes imagining the other actors are there and trying to deliver an emotional performance to a tennis ball. He then wondered why the producers wasted so many hours on wide shots or scenery shots where you couldn’t see the actors up close and instead thought maybe those scenes should have been shot with the doubles leaving the likes of Grant, Mellisa and Caity enough hours to film the important character scenes.
Instead of an hour and 23 minutes of Superman Returns, we get real insight into Brandon Routh the person and what’s really going on in his world. Bravo.
I just wanna give Brandon a huge hug. It's great that he's working on managing the way he reacts to things, but I can still tell he's cut up about being written off Legends. He seems so genuine and considerate and I hope he lands on his feet.
Why did they write him off? Ray is fav character and he was there from the beginning. Legends isn't GOT the main characters should be alive for the whole show
@@ARBLACKx He isn't going to die and they "officially" said they took him out because his story with Nora is ending but most people agree that the reason they're taking him off is because Brandon Routh is one of the more higher paying if not the highest paid actor on Legends and they're kicking him off for budgetary reasons. I wish they wouldn't though.
@@francheska3128 Nope. It's a CW budget move. Brandon is one of the highest paid actors on the show because he has so many credits to his name. Because of that unfortunately Dom may be next on the chopping block since he has even more acting credits to his name than Brandon does (the recent introduction of Mick's daughter to the show already feels like a convenient way for them to eventually write Mick out). The CW has always been stingy about paying their actors and Legends is an ensemble cast without a true titular character (unlike the other Arrowverse shows).
Great to hear someone my age willing to admit that everything isn’t perfect. Looking in the mirror and not knowing yourself after decades of being ‘you’ poses fundamental questions
My impression is that they dumped Brandon because they didn't want to pay his salary and subsequently dumped Courtney because it doesn't make sense for her character to be around if Ray Palmer isn't.
This is definitely going my favorite one since Lex Luthor is interviewing Superman or Flash interviewing Superman. It would be nice to see you interview Gal Gadot. Rosenbaum thanks for doing these amazing interviews. It's great to see these in-depth interviews since its rare. Rosenbaum bringing it is the best thing and seeing different sides of the actors is compelling.
@@ChuckDogg yes I know. Originally it was suppose to be Ted Kord the blue beetle and they made references to Kord Industries but for some reason they changed it to Ray Palmer the Atom. I guess maybe they are going to use Ted Kord for the Cinematic universe.
It was interesting when talking about 'black' and 'white', good and bad coming from both Superman and Lex (Mr Rosenbaum is still my favourite Luthor). The other aspect is they both have experience working on CW shows (would've been cool to have them compare notes)
This format is just Epic. Credit to Brandon for being open. So many of us can identify with his struggles. You guys are all awesome. Keep up the good fight man.
"I just throw ragers at my house every night. For myself. And my wife." Opening with an eerily good Farley impression and then that just seven minutes in? I'm hooked.
I can't believe that I am hearing for the first time that Brandon did not leave LoT on his own. In fact I remember reading in a magazine (obviously studio spin) that he left for family reasons. That just sucks. What a great guy he seems to be and what a great interview you had with him. I hope his greatest role is just around the corner and I hope you get him back soon. Great job, Mike. Love the return to the video format.
@@anteprs7908 i remember it being presented that he wanted to leave for his family. Living in California and working in Vancouver isn't easy so for a lot of shows there is a shall we say shelf life for them being up there.
he plays the best character in LoT. Ray Palmer is literally the heart of the show. idk if i'm going to be interested in watching LoT without him. his unbridled positivity is what set the show apart from every other CWverse show.
Michael, your Lexluthor representation has been for me the best ever so far and seeing you interviewing Brandon who was superman is just really a great thing to witness. Brandon thank you for opening yourself to us, it was really intuitive. i guess i am not alone on the path of finding out who the f* of a person i am. overall really nice to listen to you guys, keep it coming!

1 year late, but I watched this episode today and it was overwhelming and touched me in a certain way (hard time at the moment). I'm thankful that Brandon was so honest and talked about some experiences in his personal life. Straight after I finished the video I took my raincoat on (pretty rainy day)and went out for a walk without my phone. Walked into the woods, inhaled the nature and took a deep breathe. I'm grateful, and thank you both.
I love this being back on video again! I always felt like Brandon had his walls up in interviews and he did in this in a lot of ways but I felt like he opened up a lot more than usual I really enjoyed this interview xx
I was always saying that since he played Superman and I loved it! He's my top fave man who had played Superman. 😍 He just gave me Christopher Reeves feels and I love it!
When I tell you despite what anyone would say I absolutely LOVED Brandon as Superman! I thought he was amazing and watching him just gave me thr same feelings I use to have when I was a kid watching Christopher Reeves as Superman.. I couldn't stop smiling! I thought he didn't have a fair chance to continue in the role so for a long time I was mad by it but when they said he was going to put on the suit again for the cross over 😍😍😍😍 I was so excited! It made my day watching him. He's on my list for men I love who played Superman.. Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh, Dean Cain and Tom Welling 😍😍😍😍😍 I loved him in Scott Pilgrim another one of my favorite movies and enjoyed him on Legends.. He's a wonderful actor and I hope to see more of him in other roles 😍😍 Ok I will stop fangirling now 😍😍😍❤️❤️ Listening to him talk about going in for roles.. Sounds like how I feel when I go in for interviews.. No matter how many times you do you the nerves will be there.
I agree F.Kusuma! I felt like he resembled him a lot. It was why I loved the movie and went and saw it three times. I was thrilled to see him play SM again for the cross over. 👍😎
Brandon did a Awesome job in his portrayal of Clark Kent and Superman in Superman Returns. He protected the integrity of the character. The suits dropped the ball and not him. My favourite part of CW's Crisis On Infinite Earths was him becoming Superman one more time. the role fits him like a glove so great was his performance back then and now on CW's Crisis. Brandon is my favourite Superman actor other than Christopher Reeve.
Agreed, Routh and Superman Returns were phenomenal. I still believe there should be a sequel, or should have been. My fav superman movie of all time. No question. It had heart.
Brandon was the perfect Superman, he was so similar to Christopher Reeves, even his voice is uncanny! I wish they would have give him another chance. With a better movie screenplay
Love this guy. I can really relate to him on so many levels. He really seems like a well rounded, down to earth individual. So much respect for him. ❤️
First chance I've had to (maybe) have you read this. Your podcast has been my favorite for a few years now. I love the in depth, open, honest, and fun tone of every episode. You're doing a great job. Also, a huge DC fan, so I love your work in Smallville and as Flash, and love the DC related guests. It's awesome. Keep doing what you're doing, man! It's working!
Agreed, Brandon. EVERYONE should be seeing a therapist. We don't take mental health seriously enough in this country. My therapist is amazing and I wish I'd done this 30 years ago. This was a great episode!!
Ok I love seeing this because before when listening to it I thought it was just off the cuff talking points, but now I see that Michael does his research and has notes. Love that. 👏🏻❤️
Fantastic Superman and not just because at the time everyone thought he resembled Reeve IMO as shown in the recent crossover, he embodies the strength and perfectly captures the spirit of a noble Superman I hope he can return again one day
Omgggg this beautiful soul Brandon Routh! He deserves the best things. Love his gorgeous face. 11:00 brandon has a lot of unexpressed hurt over the Superman situation :( cant wait for the day he finally lets go on it

Brandon... I really have liked everything you have ever been in. Can’t wait to see you in the next role. Just so you know I only watched legends because you were on the show and now.... nah. Hopefully you come back to Michael’s show again.
Brandon Routh is the most Christopher Reeve-looking actor to play Superman since Reeve himself. I like to squint my eyes when I watch Superman Returns, and it actually looks like Reeve on screen (instead of Routh). The story in that film was horrible and it wasn't Routh's fault. He played it as straight as it could be done, and did a nice job. Brandon Routh got a raw deal from Hollywood and the S Franchise. GOD BLESS HIM. Would LOVE to see him play S again.
Thank you for bringing the video back man, honestly. Really missed this from when you used to do it. I love to watch podcasts in video form when available.
Fantastic interview. I thought Brandon was leaving of his own accord not because they are letting him go. This is such a baffiling decision by the producers as Ray Palmer is probably the strongest character on the show after Sara. Really don’t understand why
I love how he has his room with posters galore..showing us his favorites, he could easily put HIS own stuff up there, but thats not who he is..Dude is a genuine human being, who from listening and watching his podcast, I think he surprises many guest with how oringal and unique he is..He is super talented, never stop being you. Thank you! You rule Michael.
Superman Returns had scenes that were unforgettable, but the plot was kind of a miss. Brandon nailed Clark Kent he had that wholesome quality that Clark Kent needs to authentic

I have to admit i really liked Brandon as Superman. I think he didn't just look the part, he played the part PERFECTLY. He had that charisma that Christopher Reeves had both as Clark and as Superman. Hollywood sucks balls. They should have given him another shot. I mean the movie wasn't a flop. It made back the budget and another hundred and fifty million. That's a win.
Yesss!!!! So happy to see you again Michael! 🥰🥰 Wonderful interview!! Brandon is the sweetest! Gonna miss him so much in Leyends of Tomorrow. 😔 PS. Michael, I'm still waiting for another season of Impastor. (Please?)
Hearing you both discussing coming to terms with who you are, specifically while I am actually 26 and trying to do the same thing currently, really is reassuring. Especially during a pandemic, it's so hard right now. And this conversation helped me. Thank you so much.
I' m addicted to these podcasts. So good. I like the angle Micheal has taken by bringing on celebs and covering life, anxiety, relationships, money, focus, lack of, highs and lows, the 80s, the future, the film business with humor and seriousness. This is solid! "I'm all outa love, i'm so lost without you" LOL classic. Oh we've all had those moments. Man i tell yah, Rosenbaum has some deep thoughts. I would dig sitting down with him and shooting the breeze.
I think Brandon is the most underrated Superman. Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman because of my childhood. But Routh did an amazing job, and was the closest to the ideal set by Reeve. I think Superman Returns came out at the wrong time. The world wanted gritty then, they didn’t want nostalgic.
I always love listening to this on my way to work. Really shows the other side of celebrity actors and they remind us that they are also human as well.
Hooray! So excited for the videos! Looking forward to watching this later, but just wanted to leave a comment to let you know that these new videos are bringing this podcast to a whole new level! ♥️😊

“I am experiencing what it is to be human. That is my fundamental purpose.”-Brandon Routh Love this. Fantastic episode. I cannot thank you enough, Michael and Brandon, for voicing these things that people, especially men, struggle to express. Cheers to journeying and being honest about it.
Brilliant interview, it was a shame Brandon never got his sequel as he played both roles as Clark/Superman well & showed a vulnerable side to both characters.
Brandon is THE BEST version of live action Clarke ever, he makes the whole "i have glasses on so you cant recognise me" thing nearly believable :) also his Superman is argueably one of the best of all time as well. CW. letting him go from Legends is insane. I have watched Legends since the beginning and once he leaves I am done with the show....absolutely stupid move that will probably mark the downturn and ending of the series soon after. Getting rid of the heart and soul of any show is just the dumbest thing i have ever heard. Cant wait to see what you next Brandon, and Michael top quality podcast as usual sir, honest and compelling. I thought his Superman had a sense humble royalty to it. I loved it and was disappointed it didn't turn into more. A great actor that was victim of a mediocre story.
How cool is it that Lex Luthor is interviewing Superman? What? Coolest interview EVER!!! But, no, Michael, Brandon, if you're reading this, I totally love both of you guys with so much of my heart both childhood boy and adult. He was my best friend as a boy and I get to relive those moments when I see the movie. Superman Returns is my new favorite movie because it's like the story continued. Me and my grandad's story continues in a way along with it. It breaks my heart that they didn't greenlight the sequel but it lives on in my heart. I raised two girls as a single dad and we all watched the Superman movies over and over. Everything Brandon says about behavior resonates with me so much! Superman was an archetype figure i really looked up to on a value aspect during my dysfunctional childhood. And when i started therapy as an adult I gave myself a motto to keep going with it "what would superman do if he was in my head space and with my vulnerabilities?" The answer to myself was and still is, "To be a real superman is to heal yourself so that you can be your best you for you first, then that will allow you the ability to be super to everyone else" Even off set Brandon has a Super presence. Yea he was the ONLY reason I was watching it in the first place. I was so upset when Lex Luther killed him. I really wish he played a bigger part in the crossover than what he did.
Sebastian Molina same here!! I couldn’t believe they killed him off to bring Lex back! Lex was so annoying! John Wesley Shipp was great as well!!
@@javiercarrillo2156 exactly and i feel like they really sold crisis on the back of Routh's kingdom come superman
Now the only thing that we can hope for now is if that superman show with him is true the post-crisis series that is unlimited that will go on either the CW or HBO Max. Also guys, this is a rumor.
justwar12 It would also be cool if they made a Kingdom Come movie
I found it interesting that both Superman actors played a lot of World of Warcraft. I wonder if Dean Cain ever played WoW.
Can you please link the time frame when he talks about this? And what happened with Stephen?
ZOD4 I thought he willfully left 😭
@@francheska3128 Unfortunately not. :(
Why did they write him off?
I'm sad to see him go from legends . He gave the show such a balance. The show will not be the same without him.
This is definitely going my favorite one since Lex Luthor is interviewing Superman or
Flash interviewing Superman. It would be nice to see you interview Gal Gadot. Rosenbaum thanks for doing these amazing interviews. It's great to see these in-depth interviews since its rare. Rosenbaum bringing it is the best thing and seeing different sides of the actors is compelling.
HI RAGHU
This is the one dude I've seen comment on a shit ton of random videos
Don’t forget Atom.
For myself. And my wife."
Opening with an eerily good Farley impression and then that just seven minutes in?
He left lot what that?
@@anteprs7908 i remember it being presented that he wanted to leave for his family. Living in California and working in Vancouver isn't easy so for a lot of shows there is a shall we say shelf life for them being up there.
he plays the best character in LoT. Ray Palmer is literally the heart of the show. idk if i'm going to be interested in watching LoT without him. his unbridled positivity is what set the show apart from every other CWverse show.
His character is too expensive for the CW budget
Brandon Routh embodies the perfect Superman.
Watched the whole thing. Brandon is such a chill and calm dude, wow. Wasn't expecting that. Didn't know he was a fellow WoW addict either.
He shares his video game addiction with cavill the difference either cavill still is a geek but mads enough money and has a enough star power to get those roles and not let it impeded him
Talking about life. Not just THEIR lifes. Everyone can relate.
Wonderful human beings having empathy for each other. Loved this podcast.
1:03:58 TOTAL Superman and Lex exchange LOL 😆 Brandon Routh IS Superman Michael IS Luthor.
so god damn happy to have the interviews on video!
Hollywood needs to stop sleeping on this guy and catch up. Hes criminally underrated.
It's crazy how much Christopher Reeve I see in him. All the best for you Brandon...
Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh, Dean Cain and Tom Welling 😍😍😍😍😍
I loved him in Scott Pilgrim another one of my favorite movies and enjoyed him on Legends..
He's a wonderful actor and I hope to see more of him in other roles 😍😍
Ok I will stop fangirling now 😍😍😍❤️❤️
Listening to him talk about going in for roles.. Sounds like how I feel when I go in for interviews.. No matter how many times you do you the nerves will be there.
@ He definitely sounds a lot like him.
I agree F.Kusuma! I felt like he resembled him a lot. It was why I loved the movie and went and saw it three times. I was thrilled to see him play SM again for the cross over. 👍😎
@Jesus is God still talking about Superman? Clark is my savior.
Brandon’s personality is kinda like Clark Kent’s lol. Also his handsomeness in Superman Returns is male beauty at its highest form.
Brandon is the quintessential good guy. He is the perfect good guy on and off the screen.
I would love to see Brandon Routh continue his Superman role in a tv series.
Can't wait to watch this but wanted to say right out of the gate how HAPPY I am that you are putting these back on UA-cam!!!!!!
“You asked permission” - excellent justification
My ADHD appreciates having a visual. Thanks! Great therapy and right on with the text neck.
Brandon Routh, you're a total class act. Absolute best of luck to you in the future.
Brandon was the perfect Superman, he was so similar to Christopher Reeves, even his voice is uncanny! I wish they would have give him another chance. With a better movie screenplay
Yeah. Stop confusing George REEVES with Christopher REEVE.
Love this guy. I can really relate to him on so many levels. He really seems like a well rounded, down to earth individual. So much respect for him. ❤️
Absolutely love this man! Such a kind soul, deserves the best of everything!!!!!
My gosh Brandon has this sweetness about him, hes adorable. I love his eyes. He's just a big sweetheart.
That stuff Mr. Routh said about the incongruence of seeing yourself as others see you... brilliance. I relate.
Great interview. I have no interest in Legends without Brandon Routh. But, he should still be Superman.
I only watched for him bc he’s the cutest
Ok I love seeing this because before when listening to it I thought it was just off the cuff talking points, but now I see that Michael does his research and has notes. Love that. 👏🏻❤️
Fantastic Superman and not just because at the time everyone thought he resembled Reeve IMO as shown in the recent crossover, he embodies the strength and perfectly captures the spirit of a noble Superman I hope he can return again one day
Omgggg this beautiful soul Brandon Routh! He deserves the best things. Love his gorgeous face. 11:00 brandon has a lot of unexpressed hurt over the Superman situation :( cant wait for the day he finally lets go on it
You can see a lot of pain in his eyes regarding that whole ordeal. Great man, can’t wait to see what’s next for him.
"but that catches up to you" - oh how it does. i feel like it's caught up to me right now. bypassing things, being all sunny and light. *deep breathing*
I love to watch podcasts in video form when available.
he truly reminds me so much of Christopher. he was a truly wonderful Superman, who got really messed over by Hollywood.
So BOTH Routh and Cavil are WoW playing Supermen... That is freaking amazing!
Michael's voice. inside my ears. always joy.
Fantastic interview. I thought Brandon was leaving of his own accord not because they are letting him go. This is such a baffiling decision by the producers as Ray Palmer is probably the strongest character on the show after Sara. Really don’t understand why
Brandon and Michael are both awesome and self aware dudes. I wish the best for them.
Oh hell yeah, love the interviews with a camera now
I love how he has his room with posters galore..showing us his favorites, he could easily put HIS own stuff up there, but thats not who he is..Dude is a genuine human being, who from listening and watching his podcast, I think he surprises many guest with how oringal and unique he is..He is super talented, never stop being you. Thank you! You rule Michael.
Lol, who isn’t genuine
Awesome video! So glad you brought video back!
Superman Returns had scenes that were unforgettable, but the plot was kind of a miss. Brandon nailed Clark Kent he had that wholesome quality that Clark Kent needs to authentic
The DCEU needs a Superman and Brandon is still young enough and built.......just sayin.
@David Coleman Brandon Routh used to get the exact same criticism that the current superman is getting (Hoechlin). " He´s too young", "too skinny", "too much of a baby face", "too much wooden acting..." I can´t wait for 2030, when we get a new superman actor, and everybody goes "I miss tyler hoechlin so much, he was my sups..." I can´t stand people who live trapped in a romantic (and fake) version of the past. People who can´t enjoy what they have. Like a kid who gets a new action figure from his parents, and cries "Nooo!! I wanted a different one!!" 42 is not that young to play REGULAR superman, tho.
I just got a chub thinking about that #Pride
True dat DC! He was awesome as SM!
Henry Cavill is the DCEU's perfect Superman, i want Brandon for an elsworld's HBOMax Kingdom Come Superman series instead.
Great podcast and an amazing guest! Brandon should deserve a return as Superman on a regular TV show, he is the nearest to Christopher Reeves. Cheers from Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Listening to Brandon talk about philosophy, life, ego, I couldn't help but think a lot of what hes saying aligns with Buddhism and he could greatly benefit from it, but when he said "the middle way"(which is a common Buddhist practice) I realized he's already following a Buddhist path 😊
The greatest TV series ever would be:
THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: The Golden Age 1938-1955 Starring Brandon Routh
I remember how the Star Trek fans on the 70s brought the franchise back. This would be the project to push for!
@Clyde Disney Brandon Routh used to get the exact same criticism that the current superman is getting (Hoechlin). " He´s too young", "too skinny", "too much wooden acting..." I can´t wait for 2030, when we get a new superman actor, and everybody goes "I miss tyler hoechlin so much, he was my sups..." @@gabrielp9646 TBH, I'm not sure it would be the case, as nobody really says that about Dean Cain. I really liked Lois & Clark and him in the role (though his crooked 'S' BOTHERED THE HELL OUT OF ME!). He is seen as somebody in the role during the 90s.
@@dannyr2976 I know, Im 28. I used to watch Lois & Clark as a kid. But yes, it would be the case. I remember watching the fisrt on set pictures of Superman Returns, I remember watching the trailers on TV, I remember watching the movie in the theatre, and I remember the amount of negative reviews that came about 1 week later. Everybody was saying the EXACT SAME THING about Routh "He´s too young, too skinny, and not manly enough" or "He´s not a good enough actor, he´s too green and wooden" (which was also said about Dean Cain & Tom Welling, btw).
And I wasn´t even a huge follower of movie news back then, and even I knew how it was "trendy" to hate on Superman Returns, and call that movie cheesy, silly, outdated... (very similar to how it became trendy to hate on BvS, or the last season of GOT. Very similar to what people are saying about Tyler Hoechlin right now. "He´s not tall enough" despite the fact that he is just as tall as Henry Cavill. Or "He doesn´t have enough muscles", despite the fact that he is way, WAY more jacked than Routh was in Superman Returns). Im not saying that´s what I thought about the movie btw, Im saying that´s what everybody was saying back then. Also, Dean Cain wore two Superman suits, the first one didn´t have a crooked "S" emblem.
Gabriel P Jesus, How specific are you and stop copying and Pasting the same sentence over and over again.
I just love Brandon so much! I hope his next role will be a main role where he’s appreciated for his amazing talent and personality! It breaks my heart when I listened to this cause you can hear how bummed he is about them throwing them out of Legends!
Brandon Roth did a great job as Superman
Awesome interview! I'm drinking out of my IOU coffee mug while watching.
I binged Legends of Tomorrow last summer and really enjoy it. Sad to see Brandon leave the show but looking forward to whatever he decides to do next; whether in or out of the spotlight.

I'm soooooo glad you're back to doing some with videos. Seeing the interactions between you and your guests makes it so much more intriguing
PS. Michael, I'm still waiting for another season of Impastor. (Please?)

Inside of you with Micheal Rosenbaum: Lex Luthor interviews Superman/
The Flash interviews The Atom.
That should've been the title of this episode
The world wanted gritty then, they didn’t want nostalgic.
thank God the videos are back !!! I have so much to catch up on ! thank you for coming back MICHAEL !!!!!!!!!!
I always love listening to this on my way to work. Really shows the other side of celebrity actors and they remind us that they are also human as well.

Brilliant interview, it was a shame Brandon never got his sequel as he played both roles as Clark/Superman well & showed a vulnerable side to both characters.
46:20 pure wisdom. Even Brandon smiles because its true.
Lex interviewing Superman soooo good haha
Wait, he was fired? I thought he and Courtney were leaving on their own terms
I thought his Superman had a sense humble royalty to it. I loved it and was disappointed it didn't turn into more. A great actor that was victim of a mediocre story.

But, no, Michael, Brandon, if you're reading this, I totally love both of you guys with so much of my heart both childhood boy and adult. Brandon played a continuation of my absolute favorite movie series of my life. Me and my granddad used to watch Superman: The Movie every time it came on television. I miss him so much. And I recently met a wonderful lady who has two young girls and we watch Superman Returns at least twice a week!
Michael, I have to tell you how much I appreciate what you are doing with this show. I just recently discovered it and I love what you're doing, man. Can't wait for Tuesdays! The content of seeing inside of you and these heroes of mine is so liberating. I'm a Psychology major so I love the introspective work that is so necessary to overcome the status quo. To be more. Even if no one knows. But, this show lets us see that we are not alone in our journey to a better us. It is changing my life, man! Thank you! Please keep up the good work and know that your efforts are what heroes are made of, my friend. Love you, brother! You're in my prayers. Take care and Lord bless!
Well said
When Superman and Lex Luther have a civil conversation I listen.
I love this interview with Brandon, due to the fact that Every one even actors are human, and no one is perfect. for me when I was 25 to 26 I had major anxiety and a bunch of panic attacks, and to be honest it was one of the most humbling and grounding experience that I have ever been through. it made me a better person and it helped me appreciate the little things in life and over made me a better person. And If I could go back I wouldn’t change a thing because it helped me grow and move forward.
Are we sure Brandon isn't actually Superman? He seems such a good man.
Great episode, love that it is on you tube now, loved listening to the podcast in my car but love getting to watch great people converse about real life on screen even more, keep up the brilliant work Michael. Love your show, it is one of the best parts of my week. Thanks for them all.
Listening to this on Instagram now watching on UA-cam...Yes!!!🎉👊👍
Everything Brandon says about behavior resonates with me so much! Superman was an archetype figure i really looked up to on a value aspect during my dysfunctional childhood. And when i started therapy as an adult I gave myself a motto to keep going with it "what would superman do if he was in my head space and with my vulnerabilities?" The answer to myself was and still is, "To be a real superman is to heal yourself so that you can be your best you for you first, then that will allow you the ability to be super to everyone else" Even off set Brandon has a Super presence. Thanks for this one Michael!!!!
