I can already tell I'm about to relate the most to this video. I'm 5'7 or 5'8, 14 years old and I weigh like barely 90 pounds. Edit: well I related to basically EVERYTHING on this video. I'm in 8th grade, so middle school, and all of that crap happened to me. People ask me do I not eat, they tell me, "Damn you're hella skinny!" I also eat a lot, like eat almost as much as my 40 year old dad that weighs like 180 pounds. And if you've ever seen a Mexican dinner, then you would know how much they serve. I also related to the wind part and kind of the hair part, my hair can get pretty big, and the bigger it gets, the curlier it gets, anyways I'm going to stop because this is way too long.
I literally somehow always manage to eat a bunch of junk good right before my family visits and then when I'm full and don't eat much around them they're like "mf EAT god you're a twig what's wrong with you" I have no idea why but I always get hungry like 20 minutes before EVERYONE ELSE
True, especially when guests come and say 'Oh ma gosh!? You don't eat or what?'. Then on the same night your mom offers you a plate filled with food and you've no option but to eat. The next morning there's no difference! :D
You could try to eat more calorie dense food or just eat more proteins and exercise to build up muscle. That way, you’ll go from skinny to lean. I’m somewhere between the two, because college makes it difficult to exercise regularly

2:04 when I was in middle school I was skinny and people bullied me bc of it. saying I had anorexia to saying and asking if I ever ate in my life to literally trowing candy to my face in the hallway. I got them back by going home baking a cake and eating the ENTIRE thing next day. they didn't doubt my eating after that.
can i just say, roller coasters are terrifying when you’re skinny, like we can just fly right out and literally die and jeans are the hardest things to ever find in your size, and people are constantly saying “come to my house we’ll feed you fattening food til you finally gain some meat on those bones”

In middle school I was like 20 pounds overweight and really fricken fat, (don’t worry I’m healthy now) and during PE we had to wear these really “form fitting” uniforms that were tight as hell. Whenever we ran the mile and my exhausted butt was still running after everyone else was done people would say stuff like, “oh here’s the elephant coming through”. Even more so, people would talk to my friends about how ugly i was and to them I would walk up to them and say, “Hey, I know that I’m a fat f**k but at least I have a decent personality”. I’ve been skinny my whole life and you’re totally right, ppl still feel 100% okay with coming up to me and commenting on my body shape. It’s just how I’m made. I don’t work out, but if I every try and work out ppl actually discourage it and say “You’re already to skinny” at which point I try and educate them that working out is healthy and it doesn’t have to be correlated with weight. I think cuz I’ve been dealing with this for 40 yrs, it doesn’t bother me. I just think most ppl don’t understand.

As a 6ft 103 pound male I have to say I really appreciate this video. It really touches lights for the kids growing up with the same issue, I did. And if a kid reading this, understand that it gets better as you embrace it, I used to get bullied and even had my 3 year crush say that I'm undo able, and to skinny to even consider dating in front of all 8 of those mfs. I dropped out, social distanced for years, nearly ruined my life with Junk food and got caught up with intense GERD making it difficult to eat let alone gain weight. Trust me, 60 pounds 4,11 in high school I've been there, as of last year I hit a new low, figured taking my life would put financial ease on my family. A fools move, however before that happened I heard a statement from Jordan Peterson, "Before you consider a permanent solution to your problem, you owe it to yourself and loved ones to try every non permanent solution". In time, I've went through many therapists, tried many Ted talks ext. That was all a joke, but in time of doing that I realized if I can stand up and go through that bs therapy I can go to a job and give my all. I mean what's the worst that can happen? I get sick and die? Isnt that where I'm going now anyways? So fuck that, skip to the future I'm now 19, I got decent medication to keep GERD under control, I study stocks & sell items from my home for money, that was my first focus from when GERD hit me at 18. Health first, financial second, now I've just recently got a job, today's my first day since 2 years of not being employed and it feels great. Ive even put in weeks of work into my goal to make a UA-cam channel "Twigz". No videos yet as I gotta work through my debt, support my family, but ima get that pc. However ima end it here, this has become more of my life story then advice so let me leave it at this. It's hard being skinny, it's under appreciated, girls can be brutal about it, and it's painful to live this way, but that's the life we have, either get busy living or get busy dying. Don't let this life fool you, it's not free, understand and respect what your parents/guardians have done for you and focus on your goals, and to those that so don't know what that may be quite yet, start with financial, it takes work and money to even start your dreams, so take a head start and get out there, this will also help you fix your insecurities. It takes hard word and dedication to get out of this slump, I'm getting out of mine now, and just to prove it to you that it can happen, do me a favor and comment under this in a year and I promise you I'll have that pc, no debt and will already have put some work in the channel and for now keep your head up G!

@@HarleyShipway started working out 4 months ago went from 112ibs to 130. The gyms been great, life's been okay. Still dealing with stuff but feeling self conscious is not one of them. Haven't been upset about my body in years : ) My best advice for this subject: - Be vulnerable and honest with people and you'll find real friendships, real expierences. - Try the gym/bulking. I started by learning to lift then bulking, then I dialed in on calerie tracking and tracking my lifts. Honestly its been quite intresting to see growth, just gotta find that middle ground between under/overexerting yourself. - Understand that perspective is key, and that sometimes just feeling like a wimp makes the world treat you that way.

Virgil’s waist is so small that I can wrap my whole hand around his waist and still have half of my arm.” And I would be like boi shut the fuck up. People in middle school always picked on me because I was really Tall and Skinny. They would ask questions like: “do you have a eating disorder?” “How much do you weigh?” Why are you so tall?” Does it hurt when you sit down?” And I would always answer “ no I don’t have a eating disorder, I weigh 71 lbs, I don’t know, yes it hurts to sit down, the weather up here is great, it’s weird to see the tops of peoples heads, yes I know you can wrap your arm around my waist and still have half your arm, yes I am a stick, and the teachers didn’t give TWO SHITS like they would see this happen and be like: “well you do need to gain weight Virgil.” I was like “who’s side are you on??????” So yeah Middle school was shit.

I dropped out, social distanced for years, nearly ruined my life with Junk food and got caught up with intense GERD making it difficult to eat let alone gain weight. Trust me, 60 pounds 4,11 in high school I've been there, as of last year I hit a new low, figured taking my life would put financial ease on my family. A fools move, however before that happened I heard a statement from Jordan Peterson, "Before you consider a permanent solution to your problem, you owe it to yourself and loved ones to try every non permanent solution". In time, I've went through many therapists, tried many Ted talks ext. That was all a joke, but in time of doing that I realized if I can stand up and go through that bs therapy I can go to a job and give my all. I mean what's the worst that can happen? I get sick and die? Isnt that where I'm going now anyways? So fuck that, skip to the future I'm now 19, I got decent medication to keep GERD under control, I study stocks & sell items from my home for money, that was my first focus from when GERD hit me at 18. Health first, financial second, now I've just recently got a job, today's my first day since 2 years of not being employed and it feels great. Ive even put in weeks of work into my goal to make a UA-cam channel "Twigz". No videos yet as I gotta work through my debt, support my family, but ima get that pc. However ima end it here, this has become more of my life story then advice so let me leave it at this. It's hard being skinny, it's under appreciated, girls can be brutal about it, and it's painful to live this way, but that's the life we have, either get busy living or get busy dying. Don't let this life fool you, it's not free, understand and respect what your parents/guardians have done for you and focus on your goals, and to those that so don't know what that may be quite yet, start with financial, it takes work and money to even start your dreams, so take a head start and get out there, this will also help you fix your insecurities. It takes hard word and dedication to get out of this slump, I'm getting out of mine now, and just to prove it to you that it can happen, do me a favor and comment under this in a year and I promise you I'll have that pc, no debt and will already have put some work in the channel and for now keep your head up G!

@@HarleyShipway started working out 4 months ago went from 112ibs to 130. The gyms been great, life's been okay. Still dealing with stuff but feeling self conscious is not one of them. Haven't been upset about my body in years : )
My best advice for this subject:
- Be vulnerable and honest with people and you'll find real friendships, real expierences.
- Try the gym/bulking. I started by learning to lift then bulking, then I dialed in on calerie tracking and tracking my lifts. Honestly its been quite intresting to see growth, just gotta find that middle ground between under/overexerting yourself.
- Understand that perspective is key, and that sometimes just feeling like a wimp makes the world treat you that way.

I know that feeling. I always get bullied “YOUR COUSIN IS TALLER AND FATTER THAN YOU” something like that. Its really annoying since they really want to be skinny but they still bully me for being skinny. Every time they see me they compare me with other people. When i eat more they get mad at me cause im still skinny. They do every kinds of diet but still dont lose weight. I just play games all day and i dont gain weight. Remember when our teachers taught us about junk foods and healthy foods? i ate junks foods cause it makes people “fat” I already ate too much im still wondering “bro weight where tf are you” I wish one day i can fight back for myself and tell something like “HOW ABOUT YOU BURN SOME WEIGHT AND SHUT THE ***K UP” Everytime i see them i already know what they are going to say so i just say “yeah im skinny and short i know that stop reminding me a billion times a day”

In middle school I remember that kids would always grab my waist and say really loudly “hey everyone! Virgil’s waist is so small that I can wrap my whole hand around his waist and still have half of my arm.” And I would be like boi shut the fuck up. People in middle school always picked on me because I was really Tall and Skinny. They would ask questions like: “do you have a eating disorder?” “How much do you weigh?” Why are you so tall?” Does it hurt when you sit down?” And I would always answer “ no I don’t have a eating disorder, I weigh 71 lbs, I don’t know, yes it hurts to sit down, the weather up here is great, it’s weird to see the tops of peoples heads, yes I know you can wrap your arm around my waist and still have half your arm, yes I am a stick, and the teachers didn’t give TWO SHITS like they would see this happen and be like: “well you do need to gain weight Virgil.” I was like “who’s side are you on??????” So yeah Middle school was shit.
