Bro… have you considered podcasts ? That seems like something you would blow up with , your words are intricate and impactful . Crazy to hear this level of seriousness when talking about Pokemon or any tcg or collectible. Like you said , it’s not just buying into others decision more so making your own calculated ones 🙌 once again , love the content man , appreciate your time 🫡
Wow, thank you for the kind words. Just getting started so the positive feedback really helps. I’ve not considered a podcast but if I came across someone with a similar mindset to co-host I might consider it.
@PokéMarketLab-t7j mate I was thinking about pokemon cards as stocks and ETB/BBs as index portfolios/ETFs! Love to explore with you on a co-hosted podcast. I used to run my own guest podcast show a few years back. Let me know how we can connect to chat more 😊 P.s love the advice here you shared, especially not to use debt to fund your 'investing'
Bro you’re such a real one for putting out content like this with the information that isnt talked about with Pokemon collecting and reselling. Appreciate the videos and excited for more to come 🫡
@@PokéMarketLab-t7j i really appriciate that. I've been filming this whole week. i hope to have growth like yours someday! i can already see your blow up coming my man
So, how I see it, and please let me know if I'm wrong is that you cannot loose money with Pokemon. What I mean by that is, if you keep sealed etb, it will not lose value over time. At least you will be able to sell it for the same price you bought it. The same for singles. If you buy special illustration rare early or late, you will always be able to sell it for the same price or higher. So, when we are speaking about collecting for fun and spending pocket money, you are safe that you can return this money when you get fed up with it or if you need this money. I used to be in LEGO before, and only a couple of sealed sets managed to tripple the price. Others won't be able to sell even for purchase price. Opened one crashes the price. What am I missing?
Depends on a lot of factors. Product can absolutely lose value and myself and others have been burned in the past. This is why having a plan is important. Chasing cards and singles as they rise in value, expecting that trend to continue, is likely a mistake. If your time horizon is long enough then you shouldn’t be worried about market price fluctuations. But I’d wager the vast majority of people are not in a financial position and don’t have the will power to hold sealed product long enough to take advantage of most of its potential price appreciation.
@PokéMarketLab-t7j thanks for the feedback. I mean, if I invest $500 in singles that I find nice addition to my binder, you would argue that I might not be able to sell it in 10 years for 500-600 at least?
this is actually really good investment advice for any type of investment.
Looking forward to the rest of the series
I can't wait for more!! This was awesome!!
Loved every bit of this video. Great all around advice, keep it coming 💪🏻
Thank you! Will do!

I’ll have to do something cool for 1k subs. Didn’t even think that was on the radar anytime soon.
