It is extremely risky listening to any UA-cam influencer on any sort of investing while they have no brokers license. They are just scam artists this here is a good example this won’t be on his list but you half to be aware.

As a plumber, dont ever store your boxes near plumbing. If you store your boxes in the basement you have to know where the pipings are in the selling. And place your collectibles at least 36 inch (92 cm) above the basement floor in case of flooding. Make sure all your floor drain and sump pump work properly.

The issue here, is standard ETBs for modern sets are typically very slow to increase in value due to how much is printed. Booster Boxes and PC exclusives are far better as I think we will all agree. Sure this set is over hated, but you can also currently still pick up a lot of other PC exclusive ETBs from the SV era for the same price. It's not that this set won't appreciate over time, but there are far better plays. I would rather pick up a Japanese Night Wandered Booster Box than this ETB for basically the same price.

I only have 151 master set in 151 binder. Cards are sleeved, put in a box and in a drawer. Is this good enough? Should I sleeve from both sides or invest in pro binder?

As someone whose getting into investing im looking at getting a case of pokecenter etbs and a case of booster boxes. But i havent been able to find cases for outside of msrp unless you own a brick and mortar. Any idea on who sells some of these so i can pick up 1 each drop.

I have collectible insurance and my coverage changes yearly based on the value of my collection. It’s about $115 annually for 15k coverage. It covers damages in outgoing shipping, theft, water, fire and natural disaster. It’s a must for any large collection and i don’t know why more collectors don’t utilize it.

Hopefully the main deck monster Ryzeal gets fixes their what if Duo Drive gets negated issue. If anything will keep them from performing well it'll be because they have to many strong counters to their that they have to respect when they can't get to their field spell. I know its a popular deck for its ability to give noobs a chance to make a idiot out of pro Yu-Gi-Oh players but if they don't get the support they need I can't call Ryzeal a tier 0 or tier 1 deck because it'll be stuck in between tier 1 and tier 2. But anyways the fact that Ryzeals play patterns are so linear and it can play through almost any hand trap is why it sees so much representation and it isn't because its actually more busted than any other good existing deck in their format especially since most decks have ways to play around Shifter by using the banished pile as a resource or by having good low commitment setups that allow you to do a lot with very few resources. A good example of this is Branded can fusion summon monsters by shuffling cards from the banished back into the deck. Centurion plays around Shifter with Auxillas' effect to.

Yes and no here. Still an okay pickup that I think will increase in profit like anything but not the biggest bang for your buck. Probably one of the worst sets in the SV era as far as artwork and playable cards. However, it’s up to you guys. I’d rather pick up a booster box of Paradox Rift (which is also quite cheap).

I feel like people overlook it only because it doesn't have a poster child pokemon. I agree the set would be the worse if you do not like any of the Pokemons, but we need to admit there is some good card arts like the Houdoom, duskulls evolutions and others.

Roaring moon is for me one of the most beautiful card from SV. Paradox had very good pull rates and I love that.

So, how I see it, and please let me know if I'm wrong is that you cannot loose money with Pokemon. What I mean by that is, if you keep sealed etb, it will not lose value over time. At least you will be able to sell it for the same price you bought it. The same for singles. If you buy special illustration rare early or late, you will always be able to sell it for the same price or higher. So, when we are speaking about collecting for fun and spending pocket money, you are safe that you can return this money when you get fed up with it or if you need this money. I used to be in LEGO before, and only a couple of sealed sets managed to tripple the price. Others won't be able to sell even for purchase price. Opened one crashes the price. What am I missing?

Im new to collecting pokemon if anyone could help me, around 10:20 there is a mention that they might reprint paldean fates at one point, my question is within how much time would that happen? and how often do reprints occur or stop occuring?

It’ll have its day. The roaring Moon, iron hands and iron valiant will never be that sought after, but no reason that Groudon can’t be a 100 dollar card if magikarp is. And the altaria, garchomp , yveltal are popular pokemon too. It actually reminds me a lot of surfing sparks . A lot of good B tier pokemon . What it’s missing is a big trainer and a big main pokemon like the pika. Personally I thought adding that third Japanese set , raging surf, to paradox rift made no sense.Raging surf had the garchomp, goldengo and parasol lady and it should have been paired with obsidian flames with its zard, pidgeot and ninetales and all the cards would have benefited huge and that would have been considered an actual good set. Call it obsidian surf. It would have been the same size set as all these ew sets like temporal, twilight masquerade and surging sparks too. Pokémon goofed big time IMO.

Completely agree with the advice to look where the hype isn’t. But Shrouded Fable is dog water. But love the idea that people stay out of the better S&V sets and park their money here. Better for me 👍
