It was like, I could appreciate my present state of mind, and all of the anxiety from my years hopped up on Adderall melted away, and I felt like I did all those years ago, a time when I didn’t feel like my heart was going to explode every morning. Beware though, from my experience it makes me basically immobile until I come down again, which sucks because I’d like to paint while high at some point.

my first time I was off an edible I had a bad panic attack, I was alone in the woods and it hit out of nowhere and it was so fun at first, but then I lost all sense of direction in the woods so I started freaking out so I sat next to a tree and calmed down and realized everything was fine. 10 minutes went by and a giant buck with antlers started staring me down and started making a charging motion towards me so I literally thought I was going to die. 😂 I sat by the tree for a half hour completely still and the deer finally left so I ran as fast as I could toward home. My first edible high was horrible - I've smoked before but completely underestimated the power of edibles compared to when its smoked. I ate only half a cookie, was good for the first hour of the high then i eventually got worse and ended up blacking out with ringing in my ears thinking that i got spiked and was about to die. My vision was slow and blurry, colours look distorted, the clothes i were wearing felt weird, like my sense of touch was more sensitive. It felt like I unlocked the true meaning of life and everything i have ever done lead up to this point, it was almost as if i was watching someone else in my body control me.The walk home was a 25 minute walk but felt like hours. When I eventually arrived home i rolled into my room and fell asleep on the floor whilst my friends played cod. I then woke up around 7 hours later and felt 'normal' again but still had a slight sense of being high still and this lasted for atleast a week. 10/10 would not do again
I once had a 4 hour delayed reaction from edibles. I ended up going to bed disappointed, only to wake up in the middle of the night waaaay too high. Actually, the 8 hour thing hasn't been accurate for me. They usually last longer than that. I can often feel the lingering effects up to 24 hours later.

My first edible high was horrible - I've smoked before but completely underestimated the power of edibles compared to when its smoked. I ate only half a cookie, was good for the first hour of the high then i eventually got worse and ended up blacking out with ringing in my ears thinking that i got spiked and was about to die. My vision was slow and blurry, colours look distorted, the clothes i were wearing felt weird, like my sense of touch was more sensitive. I couldn't stand up straight it was like incredibly bad vertigo and time was extremely slow. It felt like I unlocked the true meaning of life and everything i have ever done lead up to this point, it was almost as if i was watching someone else in my body control me.The walk home was a 25 minute walk but felt like hours. When I eventually arrived home i rolled into my room and fell asleep on the floor whilst my friends played cod. I then woke up around 7 hours later and felt 'normal' again but still had a slight sense of being high still and this lasted for atleast a week.

I once had a 4 hour delayed reaction from edibles. I ended up going to bed disappointed, only to wake up in the middle of the night waaaay too high. Actually, the 8 hour thing hasn't been accurate for me. They usually last longer than that. I can often feel the lingering effects up to 24 hours later.
same... it takes 3-4 hours for it to kick in with me and I can feel it through the next day ..... my system is slow

I don't actually recommend people get high in public spaces. I know it is popular but it is actually so much easier to run into situations in public where something strikes you in a negative way - like that traffic light. For me, it is crowds. They freak me out just a little if I'm high - and I just don't have marijuana because I want MORE anxiety in my life, ya know?

After I came out of the trip, I was tired, in pain, my chest hurt and I have anxiety constantly that I'm going to open my eyes and be back in that state of confusion and fear again.

My experience with edibles is always this. When I focus on the high, I am high as the space station. When my focus is drawn elsewhere, there is no buzz at all.

Fun thing about edibles is that you almost always end up redosing before it fully kicks in. Leading to very very interesting nights. I didn't know my buddy had made thc brownies I just knew they tasted great and got better. I got so high at a party once I didn't think I could drive safely. I asked a friend to take my car and drive me home. I was freaking out the whole ride but made it home safe and sound. I found out the next day that my friend had never driven a car in his life. I still can't wrap my head around that experience.
