- Lesley Patterson is not just a world triathlon champion, but also now an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter.
She used her winnings to fund her passion project, a remake of the anti-war film All Quiet on the Western Front.
It has taken her 16 years to get the film made and now she is a frontrunner at the Oscars.
