Serious question: Why? My F150 is supercharged to 650 hp so I get the power and fun but my exhaust is quiet so i stay friends with my neighbors. Everyone hates the guy with the loud exhaust a few houses down..... don't you want to be on good terms with people living around you?
It would probably annoy your x wife or girlfriend when you pick up your kids, so that's a good thing too
Lol. When I am at home i just immediately start my modded 5L F150 and go. She is rowdy and as a neighbor I wouldn't want to hear her sitting idle for long.
Have remote starter, but don't use it at home. Do use it at work etc..

I have the Corsa Xtreme on my 2012 5.0 FX4 Crew. What an impressive and monster of a system. Easy as heck to install and It has an absolutely beautiful sounds with absolutely 0 drone. Cruising around with the windows up you can not really tell the exhaust is on, but put the windows down and it is music. But once you get on it, you sure know it is there. We have done long trips with my wife and 2 year old and there were 0 complaints from either of them as far as cab noise or drone. Cruising at 70-80 you can still hardly tell it is there. Worth every penny even with insane inflation. Will put on my next F150 V8 whenever I get one and if we are only stuck with EVs then my fake exhaust programming will be that of the Corsa Xtreme haha.

Some clarification on the Magnaflows here. I just talked to Magnaflow this week and according to them, these MF cat-back kits mentioned here are all resonator-delete kits. The Magnaflow 19532 Direct Fit Muffler replacement is the one that keeps the stock resonator and stock tip and just replaces the muffler. The 19532 muffler is smaller than the mufflers on the 3 MF cat-back kits mentioned in the video, since the D-fit keeps the stock resonator and the ones in this video do not. I just installed the D-fit Muffler replacement yesterday.

@@landondial5215 i love it. There is some drone in the cab at highway speeds if you don't have the newer 10 speed transmission or if you take the resonator out. I left the resonator in and it did away with almost all the drone and still has a great sound.

@@landondial5215 for me it was. But with the resonator in i could drown it out with the radio, and it still had a nice bark when I got on it.
Borla just sounds cleaner and more refined than the others
Borla produces an incredible product, but everyone has their own sound preference
I just removed the factory muffler on my 2020 5.0 and added a Magnaflow. Perfect sound to me. You hear it when you want but cruising isn't annoying in the cab. Welded a new hanger off the new muffler and used all factory mounts.
May I ask what magnaflow muffler? I’m looking for the same thing! Thanks!

Nitpicking here, all of the trucks should’ve taken off at the same amount of throttle. For example the Borla Atak sounded very quiet from what it should sound. Everything I’ve seen of that exhaust for the 2011-2014 5.0 has made me believe that it is by far the loudest catback exhaust option available. I have Roush on my truck and even that doesn’t compare to Borla Atak.
I feel like the exhaust kits have a slight better sound than a muffler swap. It might just me.

I'm looking at the borla atak for my 2014 5.0 f150. How is the drone inside the cab?, as I like the sound and don't care for my neighbors. But I do have a wife and kids.

Since supercharging my f150 it’s so unbelievably loud it’s painful. Kooks headers, Y pipe, and an MBRP catback. I need to know what the quietest exhaust is on the market.

I have a 2020 XLT regular cab 5.0 with a 6.5' bed and have realized there are few systems available compared to SCAB and SCREW. I want the Magnaflow that has dual exits on the same side in the stock location...but the MF website says it won't fit. Do you know why? Is it just hangar location or is it more? I can modify the hangar location or cut a tube shorter if that's all that's required but I don't want to drop a lot of money to get it just to find out it's more than that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Muffler delete, keep factory resonator and add 3 inch pipe. It sounds almost as good as any of these expensive kits and for a little over $100 bucks. No check engine light and no change in fuel economy.

If you are talking about the 19054.. I have that system, it's plenty loud in person, and sounds good in my opinion. When I start my truck in my garage it shakes the wine glasses hanging in my kitchen on a cold start.
I just added the Magnaflow 19054 on my '18 5.0L. It does NOT include a resonator as stated in the video. I found it to be too loud inside the cab so I am now adding a 12" long 3" dia in/out resonator in front of the muffler. If that doesn't work I may put the factory resonator back on. It uses 2.5" dia pipe.

@@blksn8k I can confirm this, I just talked to Magnaflow this week and these kits are all resonator-delete kits. The Magnaflow 19532 Direct Fit Muffler replacement is the one that keeps the stock resonator and tip and just replaces the muffler. The 19532 muffler is smaller than the mufflers on the 3 kits mentioned in the video, since the D-fit keeps the stock resonator and the ones in this video do not-- the muffler size difference is to account for the resonator or lack there of. All that said, I just installed the 19532 muffler replacement.
Still no comparison to the Roush Exhaust
The Roush sound is in a league of its own and that's why we recently started carrying their products!
I have the Roush exhaust, I’ve had it on for 4 years, and it’s by far the best sounding one out there. Many people ask what I’m running, and state it as a clean sound, loud raspy sound when I punch it. There is some drone in the cab, but it’s music to my ears.
Where does AFE exhaust fit?

Fatu Taula as long as the piping is the same size it will work. Any competent muffler shop can weld about anything in place. Sound will obviously be different

Ah yes... the ole back pressure myth. Do a little google search and it is has long since been disproved.
Theres no reason to buy a " KIT" when any competent exhaust shop can chop off the factory pipe and install a new muffler of your choice and run new tailpipes. I had a flowmaster original 40 with duel exhaust behind the muffler all done for 320 bucks. No fancy kit for triple the money and sounds fantastic. Cutting off the factory exhaust in front of the resonator IS A CAT BACK exhaust when your shop replaces all the piping from the cats back. These expensive kits are for dumbos who dont know any better. Pick a muffler and tell your exhaust shop to cut off your resonator and muffler and install the new muffler and run new tail pipes. Done and much cheaper
Thought I was the only one. However I've been thinking of getting a kit like this that way I can remove it in my garage with my harbor freight tools in 2 hours if the sound becomes too much.

I have always straight piped my trucks and have always had great luck with sound for around $100

LOUD gets old quickly.
Why would you want the exhaust to dump out right under the passenger window? Very dumb if you do a lot of city driving and you gain absolutely nothing performance wise
You can fit a bigger spare tire in some trucks if you don't run the exhaust through that area.

FloMaster and solo are made in China so they’ll probably rust out in five years or just melt and deform
Learn to never buy a cat back.. just cut your muffler and resonator out and weld in a new muffler of your choice for a couple hundred bucks total.. these kits are a waste of money.. I have vids of mine on my channel..
Unless you want stainless like these kits are with smooth mandrel bends. But yes, there are cheaper ways.
