I have that on my 19 3.5eco & for it being an ecoboost I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it sounds.
I'm thinking of getting it for my 21 f150 with the 5.0,but not sure if it'll be loud enough.
My last 2 f150's that had 5.0's had the borla atak catback setups & that's a purrfect exhaust note to me,but at over $1,200 a pop,I'm wanting to replicate it at a far cheaper cost.

There's lots of things I'd like to do to my 5.0 but I'm at my mom's adult community. I don't want her to get complaints and I've saved 25k since covid. The 5.0 sounds nice with pipes but mine will sound nicer in my own driveway, free and clear! Coyotes rock!

The y pipe one was an 09-10, you can tell by the instrument cluster, so it's a 3V 5.4 instead. Another way you can tell is where the aftermarket pipe starts, there's no factory resonator, the 5.4 didn't have one but the 5.0 did. Still sounds good though.
I think the 5.0 with the stock resonator and then y pipe duals with 4" rolled tips looks and sounds the best. The resonator is a free muffler that flows like a straight pipe and sounds like a Bullet or Roush.

Agreed the 5.0l is the proper engine for that truck and Ford knows it but they ice caps say different maybe it's all because theres 2 less cylinders polluting, gm and Fiat use cylinder deactivation cuz they don't get any better gas mileage so it's really just for a emissions

Still can't beat a true dual into Borla atak muffler and tails. Gets rid of all the unwanted rasp and its LOUD af with WOT but silent nearly cruising. Coyotes are tricky on sound. Long tubes really are the answer.

@@baumbachdrew7 I used to own a 2010 f150. The dash indicates 2009 or 2010. They switched to another dash with the screen in the middle for all trim levels in 2011 as they changed the engine options.

So the #1 exhaust package (Rough Country) surprised me. The deep rumble has me thinking I should change out my Flowmaster Super-10. Also I didn't even know there was 2 different Super-10's. I have single 4" open exhaust with no cats running out the stock location, aimed at the passenger side rear of the bed. Dual 3" into single 4" pipe from the headers. It's a supercharged 355 sbc engine making around 650. It's deafening from the driver's seat. How many decibels do you think it would register on your meter? It literally hurts my ears when I have the passenger window down and I'm driving by anything that the sound can bounce off of... even a corn field. Especially a wall or building. It's a whole different level when you get into the boost.
