Sounds pretty good. That y pipe to a dual exit really cleaned it up. On my old truck I had a res delete into a knockoff flowmaster. There’s a vid on my page. Might keep res on my next truck lol.
Muffler delete gets my vote... Rough country... Then flpwmaster .. all sounded great

The flow master and the rough country sound clapped. The muffler delete sounded smooth while also being loud but not obnoxiously annoying.
Rough Country setup sounds the best IMHO.

Yes you can tell he loves his job, he enjoys listening to his work, not many shop owners have the passion he has for exhaust work , and great customer service , if i lived there that would be my #1 place to get my exhaust work done

Dang that Flowmaster was crazy loud! I was surprised that the muffler delete wasn't louder.

Love My Rough Country Exhaust!!! Best sound for the dollar hands down!!! Although was a pain in the ass to install!! LOL
I did a 3" muffler delete on my 5.0L and I ripped it off the next day. Sounded great, loved it. Hot idle wasn't too bad but holy hell the cold start was brutal. Like a locomotive idling in my driveway. Would be much more tolerable if Ford didn't program the trucks to run at over 1000 RPM to warm up. Definitely do not recommend if you like your neighbours unless there's a way to bypass the high RPM warmup so that it idles normal when cold.
That FX Flowmaster sounded great 👍

I got a muffler delete on my 2018 , it was a splendid 22 dollar modification, I recommend

@@lm-usmc went to a muffler shop bought a 7 foot stick of 2 1/2” muffler pipe, cut out the muffler, welded in the pipe in its place

How in the world is that flowmaster so loud
It will get louder as the packing burns out.
A floatmaster FX7 the best on the F150From the 3 that you showed I have a 2007F150 with the 5.4 I have a flowmaster 50 series but it Is finally getting rusted out after all these years I am conserving something a little bit different and a little bit louder it was just a little too quiet For me I'm looking for something a little bit louder That's a good Sounding I Toe a travel trailer and a hydraulic 3 yd Dump trailer for my landscaping business

Hey with kits like rough country would it be better to weld it together instead of using those clamps? Can you elaborate on the decision not to weld together.

The Flowmaster muffler is single.
The muffler delete is dual straight out the back.
I actually like the Flowmaster setup best. single. I don't like the sound of the rough country.
I'm currently running single on my pickup. 3" y pipe into single 4". It's deafening on the passenger's side. If it's sized correctly, single is more efficient and makes better power than duals.
