Agreed. There are some really incredible basic mechanics being instructed here, but some of it is so minute that 90% of the trainers out there wouldn't even pick up on it. Dave does.
My PT strongly advised me to go through this channel and I am not dissapointed. I really appreciate everyone involved with the program. You guys are the light at the end of the tunnel 👌🏾
Watching you coach is making me very happy. I have so very much to learn. I really love how tactile and feeling-oriented you gear in. Thanks, Dave. You are helping not only this crew, but me as well.
That would be awesome! I'm not into powerlifting by any means and I don't do bench pressing, but it's just awesome to see how you coach people and how your mind works while doing it
You can have all the strength in the world, but if you dont have the intelligence to think about a million things at once then your lift is going to be way less than what you can actually do. My lifts are way lower than my strength because technique is hard af
I think Dave would of had a better time fixing their technique if some of them would workout how they workout usually. They are more likely to fix up their flaws under critique so they aren't as apparent.
If they're good enough lifters, they should be trying to make their lifts look consistent all the time. So that could very well be how they workout normally
The info from the warm up is master level trainer shit. Wow. Seriously. Thank you Dave Tate and EFTS you guys are providing quality shit

Je découvre les vidéos de Dave 4 ans plus tard depuis la France. Masterclass ! Ce sont des games changers ! Mes lifts vont changer, waouh !!💪🏾💪🏾
This is by far and away the best bench press technique video series on UA-cam.

100٪ better than starting strength channel. You share your tips and really want people to lift better , not just train with your gym. Thank you
Absolutely love these videos, learning so much from them. Lucky people getting that sort of coaching great work Dave
Great info and nice to see Dave having a laugh with the students. Thanks from London🇬🇧👍
Dave, you rock. Please do this for all major lifts.
Love watching a master at work
These videos are great, shame I can't bench for another 3 months.
If you bought a barbell you could
@@joemfahey The prices are insane now. Legit crazy
@@joemfahey I'd still need plates and a bench, probably £1000
@@leedowner2249 buy plates. Build a bench
@@joemfahey bar and plates probably £600
Crushing. Great shit.

Sir you are a fucking genius..
Curious what's the cost for a bench training session?
What I wouldn't pay to have Tate beat the piss out of me
Are you back in the gym over there yet? Here in the US some gyms open some states opened up then closed again

nice
Why the fuk people sit so low on the bench? You can never get tight moving the bar so far form the rack.
Just out of interest, is Dave 6 foot or so?
6'1" + boot height
I just do 2 sets of 12 for rotator cuff. Then I start warming with the bar and go by feel
Wow thanks for telling us
1 set bar, 1 set 135, 1 set 225, then depending what I’m trying to do that day determines the rest is what I do.
Almost same as me
This how you’ll bench 225
