So much knoweldge i wish i could live next to your gym and come and learn from you guys on a daily basis!! Could you clarify shoulders position for the deadlift? Is it behind the bar? Thanks for all the amazing content you guys are putting out there so grateful!
Also learning sumo in suit/briefs, also sometimes run into my thigh with my hand on the pull. When attempting to widen the stance, was there any other key tips given to maintain power and torso position in the lift? UA-cam audio is being unfriendly, if anyone reading this managed to pick up what Dave said I'd greatly appreciate if you could reply with it.
1. the wider he goes, the closer he needs to be to the bar. 2. flare your knees like crazy. 3. corkscrew feet to preload glutes and squat into position. this is what I managed to pick up
The blue wrestling shoes guys problem is his shoes he has no lap stability and so that makes him fall backwards when he externerally rotates the hips by engaging his abductors more
greater than hook grip but i wouldn't say big risk. for all the millions of deadlifts people do every year with mixed grip you only hear about a handful of bicep tears
I could watch Dave coach all day. And I have.
Imagine how I feel.. lol
The attention to the tiniest little details is just unreal. Love these vids.
It’s so insane how good the lifts look at the beginning of the video but they just get better and better.
Always nice to see Dave coach!
We agree!
I watch these endless loop style! Thank you very much guys. I appreciate all the great content!

Good content
Thank you brother!
Dave is the goat. Jealous of the folks that get to train with him.
Man, I would really love to meet Dave and get some coaching from him!!!
Great video
Thanks!
Damn! Dave has some very developed forearms and calves for a powerlifter!
Dave twerking those plates into place, the best thing I've seen so far, hah.

that mixed grip, isn't that a big risk for a bicep tear?

@@Dr_Footbrake thanks for the response
Sumo vs standard... aint the same :)
You sure got that right. NAILED IT.
Going to use the calf slap next time i deadlift, teach those plates who's boss
No simple secret learned 😢
👍🏋️
Who decided to put the mic right beside the plates and a mile from Dave's mouth?
More washed up meathead tips to align plates 🤣 great video as ever
Pick it up and put it down. How hard is that?
If only it could be so simple....
Dave should wear a mic so we can hear him a little better. Depending on where the cameraman is it’s hard to hear him sometimes.
This is over a year old
