True but ofc you're going to gain weight , a weight lifting session you're only burning about 200 calories balls to the wall. A D1 athlete is burning about 2-3k calories per day maybe more. This diet is for bulking and athletes not people just doing 1 lift session and nothing much for the rest of the day. You probably burned more calories as a kid and less as an adult because of lifestyle changes e.g work, kids etc

Love to see the ingredients I've consistently had in my household get the spotlight. You don't NEED the $50 wagyu beef for a good meal. Get it done, and get it cheap
After watching this video I went to the grocery store, got the ingredients I needed, and made this for my dinner tonight. It was relatively quick, easy, and tastes pretty good! Only thing is I used way too much rice, I’m sure it’ll be even better next time I make it.
i actually made some of my best progress incorporating brown rice. just know when to use it. has a low GI rating and will slow your protein uptake, but the added fiber helps macro absorption. just eat it on rest days or several hours before your workout to time the carbohydrates nicely for use
@@flix1717 yeah for health, but for “gains” white rice can work better. it digests quicker than brown rice so it’s good for filling your muscles with glycogen before and after workouts, enhancing pump and recovery. i’m just arguing that brown rice can give you the same benefit if you eat it in a bigger window outside of your workouts
Put ground onions celery n carrots broth red wine n rosemary sage n bay leaf as beef is cooking then fresh mozzarella on top n use any macaroni … bolognese
This is the type of meal that tastes good cold also. You can make huge amounts of it and just feast it all day. I use beans, chickpeas and lentils instead of meat and then use quinoa instead of rice but it's the same concept.
Meat is better, because animal based protein has better protein quality than beans or quinoa, because they are plant based protein, for example quinoa has 16.5 grams of protein per 100g and ground beef has 14 grams of protein per 100g it's still gonna be better than plant based protein, because it has more amino acids and more 9 essential amino acids.
Basically my diet for almost 8 months. I had 1.5 lbs of %97 lean beef, 1.5 lbs of chicken, 12 eggs, and 4 large potato’s every day for. Was living on the road for work so all I had was a griddle and extra fuel for the gym. So I diced the potato’s, seasoned and threw on the griddle, let cook while I was seasoning and slicing the chicken. By the time the potato’s were done I would throw on the diced chicken and all the ground beef, as the ground beef cooked I would break it up into small pieces to cook faster, once everything was cooked I would mix and crack all 12 eggs on top and use a whole bag of low fat mozzarella. Cook the eggs to how I wanted and packed into my 3 meal prep containers. About 2400 cal a meal, 250g of protein, 85g of carbs and 8 grams of fat. I was skinny and always found it hard to put on weight no matter how much I ate, so this was my crude version of a bulk and I was able to put on about 20lbs. I was 150 before I went to Iowa, and after I came home I was 173. On a break as I’m in between jobs but once I’m back the crude bulk will continue.
White rice is bleached of all its nutrients and then synthetic nutrients are added after the bleaching process. Brown rice will always be the way to go or any rice that’s not “enriched” or bleached.
This is absolute and utter 🧢. White rice is basically identical to brown for macros. And if they fortified it with any synthetic nutrients they would legally have to list that in the ingredients. Cmon now.

When I was 14 I would eat a dozen eggs 2 packs of bacon a quarter loaf of bread 10 slices of cheese and half a gallon of milk and other rediculous amounts of food throughout the day. And then lift as heavy as possible. And then the next morning almost no carbs and only meets and cheeses so the body never got to adjust to high or low calories. Then all of a sudden when I hit 35 I gained a magical 20 pounds over night out of nowhere. Then when I turned 40 I gained another magical twenty pounds randomly out of nowhere overnight lol.
I was an extremely good shape till about 40 when i saw a decline and needing to actually cut calories and up the cardio.
That’s fair but he only ate this every dinner as an athlete so he can get away with this kind of stuff
"can get this for 4 dollars a pound at aldis so no excuses" pretty bold of you to assume I have 4 dollars my good sir lmao

Where in the hell do you get grass fed beef for 3.99 a lb?!

Sad reality
Love to see the ingredients I've consistently had in my household get the spotlight. You don't NEED the $50 wagyu beef for a good meal. Get it done, and get it cheap
Who has ever said you need $50 wagyu beef for a good meal
@@suypsuicul You see it all over the internet, food influencers hyping it up when in all reality that's all it is
After watching this video I went to the grocery store, got the ingredients I needed, and made this for my dinner tonight. It was relatively quick, easy, and tastes pretty good! Only thing is I used way too much rice, I’m sure it’ll be even better next time I make it.
I’ma try it for sure
Been my staple breakfast for 3 years 200g mince, 200g rice 3 eggs
If its all mixed up you can also add: beans/chickpeas/greenpeas

Still more than you will ever do with your meaningless life. Sad little virgin
i actually made some of my best progress incorporating brown rice. just know when to use it. has a low GI rating and will slow your protein uptake, but the added fiber helps macro absorption. just eat it on rest days or several hours before your workout to time the carbohydrates nicely for use
Huh
@@duffal0brown rice good 4 u
Isn't brown rice in general quite a bit better?
@@flix1717 yeah for health, but for “gains” white rice can work better. it digests quicker than brown rice so it’s good for filling your muscles with glycogen before and after workouts, enhancing pump and recovery. i’m just arguing that brown rice can give you the same benefit if you eat it in a bigger window outside of your workouts
@@dailydoberman5624 thx for the information, you basically gotta plan eating brown rice a bit more compared to white one I guess.
4$ for 1 pound of beef. Damn as an European I feel scammed to be charged over 10-15€ for that…
It's $10 a pound in my area now. Doubled in one year.
usually per kg. but still more expensive :/

Aye you live in Iowa?
White rice is bleached of all its nutrients and then synthetic nutrients are added after the bleaching process. Brown rice will always be the way to go or any rice that’s not “enriched” or bleached.
This is what I’ve known but why is everyone saying white rice?!
We need answers!
This is absolute and utter 🧢. White rice is basically identical to brown for macros. And if they fortified it with any synthetic nutrients they would legally have to list that in the ingredients. Cmon now.
White is better than brown

I'm gonna go search up what a D1 athlete is now, heard it enough times without bothering to find out.

Thanks genius

Grass fed burger for that price at Aldi? I'm going there tomorrow to check it out...
Same thoughts man the prices I see are ridiculous
Aldi is great if you don't mind bagging your own stuff up and putting your cart back. You save about 25% even from Walmart prices and the quality is probably even better
Those are way too little amount of onions and bell peppers…
You can adjust?
And what are u gonna do about it soy boy. Nothing your just gonna sit there on your f@t ass and complain on youtube. WAKE UP
Add your favourite chillis in for extra heat an flavour, like 2-3 diced habanero with the seeds
Looks 🔥🔥🔥
Brown rice actually has more essential nutrients white rice is just an empty capsule taste the same but if your looking for something a little more nutritious definitely add some brown rice
you’re correct but brown rice also contains potentially harmful toxins and even arsenic, white rice is overall more benign and a good filler for bulking
@@alligatoreater4528white rice has arsenic too, just less than brown. If you’re worried about arsenic, basmati from Cali, India, or Pakistan is where it’s at. Basmati has ~1/3 the amount white rice does.

Pretty similar to my daily dish, I add 4 eggs instead of 2, and the ground beef is not grass fed but it's 500 grams so it's better than nothing. Also I only add in 1 dl cooked brown rice so pretty limited carbs, no bone b, and no salsa cos they full of sugars.

I don’t know why people eat white rice over brown. I thought brown had more fiber and nutrients
@@cgme9535it does
It's because brown rice contains 80% more arsenic and has a chemical which prevents the absorbing zinc and iron, although your right the outer layer of brown rice contains all the rich vitamins which is lost when processing white rice.

The ingredients are fine…..needs a remix
